It's so rich and flavorful, you would never guess it's dairy-free. It tastes exactly like traditional gelato creamy smooth and sweet down to the thick texture. It makes you wonder why we even bother with dairy when something this good exists. I  was vegan for 5 years and have tasted just about every brand in multiple cities. Gemelli Artisanal Gelato is EXTRAORDINARY. AN EXPERIENCE YOU CANNOT MISS! Everything about Gemelli Artisanal Gelato felt so decadent and authentic - like I  was back in Italy but with amazing VEGAN options. The sugar cone was fresh and perfect --there's also waffle cones.  Gemelli Artisanal Gelato checked every box of what you want in a DECADENT ice cream experience. I already can't wait to go back! The coffee is usually great, and I cringe at the stupidly large markups and just pay anyway, but this time was so bad I just can't ever come back. My coffee was an iced oat milk latte with no flavoring. Pretty simple. Had milk curdles all in it. Okay, whatever. Might ask for a new one, let's see how food comes out. Lady who very loudly asked me "WAS YOUR LATTE ICED OR HOT?" (weird) drops my açaí bowl on the table rather aggressively. Worth noting that when we talked in this woman yells "I'LL BE WITH YOU BOTH IN A MINUTE" and then rushes into the bathroom. Hungover maybe? Later overheard her saying that today was her last day. Guess we should have come tomorrow! Then my girlfriend's drink comes out. This is served in a glass, not a plastic like I got. How come they're in different cups? Both iced coffees, same order. Weird. This lady then proceeds to play with a customer's dog for a minute and a half while the only other two employees behind the counter are a manager and a trainee so everything is moving super slow. Girlfriend's food finally comes out. It's oatmeal, and it's COLD. At this point, I have to ask for my money back for that. K go to the front counter to tell the same lady what's wrong, and she just goes "WHAT'S UP?"- I tell her the oatmeal is wrong and then she says "I'm not the manager, I can't do that," instead of just gesturing or talking to her manager who was literally standing 3 feet away from her. Anyway, I get my money back from the manager, who profusely apologizes, then I sit outside with my latte and it's dripping everywhere since it's overfilled. Just wrong. The whole experience was wrong. And get this, people: a 16oz iced latte, a 12oz iced latte with an extra shot, a bowl of oatmeal, and a very small açaí bowl were FORTY-SIX DOLLARS. This place is SCAMMING YOU. Please go to 260 Bridge instead.

It's a cool place that I wished I had more time to visit. What drew my interest the number of vegan options that they had on their menu. Vegan Nachos and Vegan Pizzas. There are also some handhelds as well. I was with a group of 35 at another restaurant that did not have vegan options so I called ahead, placed my order and picked it up around 6:30 pm. At that time, there was a good sized crowd inside and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I paid for my vegan pizza, and then without drawing too much attention to myself, walked into the restaurant and went to the second floor that was reserved for us. My pizza was excellent. The Vegan Blanco Vegan Mozzarella, Tofu Ricotta, Sauteed Spinach, EVOO, Garlic I haven't had pizza in about 3 months so i was definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoyed how they did the Tofu Ricotta the Vegan Mozzarella. My only critique is this - When working with vegan cheese - especially shredded, let it sit at room temperature before popping it in the oven. By doing this, you avoid the 'matchstick' look on the pizza. What happens is that the vegan cheese going from cold to hot is too extreme so it doesn't melt, or spread out - it essentially cooks / burns in place. Having worked with vegan cheese companies over the years, there is a misconception that it is bad to leave the vegan cheese outside on the countertop - not really, it's not cheese. I devoured my pizza and appreciated having a vegan option besides fries and a veggie medley.
