However, many of the kids often complain about the taste. Here is the kicker, the school had a grand parents day and lunch would be provided. My kid's grand parent came home and said that the food was absolutely terrible. My daughter's grand parent is not remotely picky and when I spoke with a few other grand parents, they also mentioned how bad the food was. We (as well as other parents) will start packing next year as unfortunately we signed up for the entire year. AAA may do great for events, but they are doing a pretty bad job for schools and should take just as much pride in a school as an event.

My husband and I recently placed an order for some BBQ and it was really delicious. We found this business on Yelp Philly's Black-Owned Businesses Collection and I am so happy we decided to give them a try. They are currently offering BBQ style take out on Saturdays which is perfect since we have jumped right into summer. We ordered two platters: BBQ chicken and BBQ pulled pork, and each of them came with two sides. For the first platter, he decided on Mac and cheese and potato salad and I chose coleslaw and Mac and cheese for the second platter. The food was delicious. The pulled pork was really flavorful and I loved the smoky taste it had to it. I'm a big fan of coleslaw and have tried tons of different kinds so I'm happy to say that I fully approve of theirs. The finely shredded cabbage tasted fresh and had a nice crunch to it, and the dressing wasn't overly creamy. The Mac and cheese was simple but good. I tried a bite of the chicken my husband got and it was also great but I am definitely in favor of the pulled pork! Sodiah, who is the owner, told me they're known for their ribs so maybe we'll try that next time! In addition to the tasty food, I was impressed with the streamlined ordering process. The entire ordering and pick up process was done through Sodiah who was professional, helpful, and friendly. After I called to place my order, she sent me a text message confirming my food selections, the price, and the pick up date and time. She also sent me thorough instructions explaining that due to Covid-19, I should call when I get there, remain in my vehicle, and they would bring the food out to me. I was given the option to pay with cash, credit card, CashApp, or Venmo. I chose Venmo and this further confirmed that there was absolutely no contact! I'm so excited to have discovered this place and look forward to future pick ups. Follow the business on Instagram for updated information and the weekly menu - @snbeventconcepts. :)

She was maybe…read morethe fourth caterer we contacted, and it was obvious from the start that she was the most interested and invested in taking the job. From the first email to the days following the event she and her team were unendingly professional, courteous, and pleasant. She responded very quickly to emails with detail changes. I was particularly impressed with how much time and attention she gave us, both at our initial meeting at her office and later on for a walk-through of our outdoor reception site. She offered lots of extremely helpful information from her experience with weddings that allowed us to avoid numerous pitfalls up to and during the reception. All in all, we 100% recommend S&B, especially for young wedding newbies like ourselves. Yelp review readers, take note: S&B currently has six "not recommended" reviews at the bottom of its page. I disagree with this (likely automated) choice by Yelp and encourage prospective clients to consider these reviews as well, especially since they only add to the chorus of praise for S&B.
