    Spicy ziti with Italian sausage
    Liz P.

I wish we had a Fazoli's near me, in the metro Detroit area, but I think the closest is probably this one, in Lansing. We were on our way home from Holland today and we stopped by for dinner. Sign up for the app or for the text club online and you will get $3 off an order of $10 or more, which I used. I got the ziti with meat sauce and my boyfriend got the spicy ziti with sausage. If you're dining in you also get unlimited breadsticks which is pretty great, I went up to the front and got a few more breadsticks for us before we left. The food is like a four out of five for me here but what pushes this review to five out of five is the service. They apologized for the food taking a little long and it took like five minutes to come out, which isn't long at all in my opinion. They were also super friendly and eager to get us more breadsticks when we asked. Overall this was a great value, about $20 for two people for dinner, so I would stop by another time when in the area.

Literally can never go wrong with fazoli's Lemme tell you it was a sad day in the life of little rae when they closed fazoli's in Arizona. It's always a treat when I visit Michigan to go here. Something so nostalgic about it. And it's just the same as it's always been.

I got door dash so I can't speak to the ambiance or service inside the restaurant. However, the cheesecake was great. I got the orange dream I Le flavor. The portion I got for the baked sampler was pretty big. I could have shared with two people easily. However the taste of the pasta alone was pretty bland. I put Parmesan on the spaghetti which made it more edible. The sauce is also pretty scarce on all the pastas I tried. I had the Alfredo, spaghetti, and lasagna. The noodles in the Alfredo some were super burned hard as a Rock, and discolored. I wouldn't order from here again. I got a pretty good variety and nothing besides the cheese cake stood out to me to want me To go again. However the cheesecake is from the Cheesecake Factory so that's not even from the actual restaurant. All in all a hard pass for me. Even the Olive Garden has better food quality and that's not saying a lot.

Fast casual Italian still with the bottomless breadsticks. This is another good entry for the Fazoli's family. The staff has always been friendly and cheerful whenever I've been to this location. I usually get the spicy baked ziti with sausage, which is spicy for a midwesterner (but more of a light mild). What steals the show are the endless breadsticks. If you've not been to a Fazoli's before, you'll order at the counter and they'll drop it off at your table when it's ready with a whole lot of breadsticks. If you want more breadsticks, you'll go to the front and ask for more. They've got boxes next to the drink station to box up any left over.

Order and waiting time were fast although was quite busy when we were there. My husband likes chicken carbonara while I tried pasta sampler. Not a big fan of Italian food but worth to try sometimes.

I love the idea of a fast-food italian restaurant. I decided to order the cheese tortellini alfredo with only chicken. It came with unlimited breadsticks and a drink. We got an order number and sat down while we waited for our food. A lady came by and gave us our food. The breadsticks were warm and fresh, and delicious. The food was really great as well. The tortellini was not overcooked, but the sauxe was a bit on the heavier side. It was definetely filling to eat all of it. I did not expect to get so much pasta as I did not pay a lot for the meal. I assumed I would get a much smaller portion. I could not even get more breadsticks, and I was hardly able to finish my pasta. Near the fountain drinks they had containers to take leftovers home, which is super smart. They also had some plastic silverware to take as well along with condiments.

We went here after the state XC meet as a team and it was so fun. We especially loved the never ending breadsticks. We each started with two or four breadsticks each and they were delicious. One of the people on our team asked for more breadsticks and the waitress came back with eight more. I will always remember that, because it was just so funny. I ordered the baked spaghetti (as shown in the picture) and loved it! I definitely would come back ñ, and recommend this place for others. Thanks for the perfect meal after a long, fun day!

This is pure deliciousness. Cinnamon swirl bread stick bites! Yes!!!!!

We all decided on pizza and ordered two pizzas. One for the adults and a smaller one for the kids. While we were waiting the room air filled up with the aroma of a seafood restaurant restaurant. It turns out they were serving crab legs and other fresh seafood entrees. That is when we were told they serve cook from scratch meals and daily specials. Our pizzas came out and both pizzas were loaded with generous toppings. Even the kids small pepperoni pizza looked generous and cooked perfectly. Very friendly service, clean, and affordable. We actually are looking forward to coming back to try some of this made from scratch Italian dishes.

The pizza took a little longer than expected, but they do let you know upfront that there may be a wait, which I appreciated. The flavor was good overall, and the ingredients seemed fresh. For my taste, there was a little too much sauce, which made the pizza a bit heavy. That said, it was still decent and worth trying if you're in the area and craving pizza. Not bad, but not a standout for me either.

There were only four of us, but we ended up at what felt like a six-person booth/table setup. It made it a little tricky to talk with everyone, but we survived. Now listen... the bread. Oh, the bread. I have been dreaming about this bread ever since I had it. And I mean that literally, I was dreaming about the bread while I was actively eating it. It was THAT good. My pasta was delicious and had a nice kick to it. I knew it was supposed to be spicy, but even after reading the reviews I was still a little surprised by the heat. Thankfully, it was the good kind of spicy where you keep going back for another bite. Overall, a really nice spot with some seriously memorable bread.

Unfortunately, our dining experience was disappointing. We weren't allowed to order from the regular happy hour menu and were limited to a much more expensive fixed menu. The calamari was good, but the featured Jazzleberry cocktail tasted weak and watered down. The prosciutto and melon appetizer was served with a large piece of half-burnt toast, the melon was hard and underripe, and the prosciutto was dry and sliced so thick it was difficult to cut or eat. I asked only for a replacement piece of toast, but our server brought an entire basket of focaccia instead. Since we hadn't ordered it, we assumed it was a courtesy replacement. We were surprised to find an $8 charge for the bread on our bill. This was at least our third disappointing experience. Toscana has a lovely atmosphere and wonderful live music, but the food quality and service have consistently fallen short. I truly hope they can improve because I'd like to enjoy dining here as much as I enjoy the entertainment.

To this day this is where I recommend people go for top level lasagna. Best I've ever had. My plan was to eat half and save the rest for the next day and I couldn't. When we go out to restaurants we tyically hand over a list of allergies my youngest son has, it is just easier for the server to take. Gluten, Eggs, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Soy Protein, Shell Fish. The server read it and took it back. My son ordered the steak and wanted mashed potatoes. Server came back and said he could not have them and recommended veggies. I ordered the Fra Diavolo which was spicy and good. My son's steak was decent but wished he could have had the mashed potatoes. We asked if he can have the sweet potatoes and she went to the manager and she came back and verified if he can have dairy. We verfied and indicated that he could have dairy. They made the sweet potatoes for him but I didn't think any dairy was in it or other allergens. As lunch was winding down we looked into dessert and asked about the vanilla ice cream (to see if he can have it as sometimes it has eggs in it). She came back and asked if he could have dairy (at this point, I answered and said, we gave you a list and it doesn't list dairy so yes he can). I was getting upset. So he was able to have ice cream. Overall, for a big party, I thought the service was not great. Then when we received the check, she listed dairy as an allergen which we never indicated he had. I'm 100% sure he could have had more options to eat. The server was told twice that he was not allergic to dairy (I get being precautious is a good thing but apologize for the mistake). I could have spoken to the manager but decided not - which I now regret. I would not go back to this place.
