This was terrible! I am a picky eater and wanted the Italian sandwich with just the meat and cheese, simple, right? Apparently not! The man even returned my order to me and said it how I wanted it so I said yes, but still made it wrong! When I asked for a new one how I had ordered it, they gladly proceeded. Horrible man. I was already coming into Fazoli's with lowered, realistic expectations for what I know it actually is: a low price fast food Italian place. I'm telling you it's worse than that. My kids used to like this place a lot and it's reasonably priced, especially on Tuesday evenings (from 5-8pm) when you can get a $0.99 Kids Meal an with Adult Entree Purchase. Score! I decided to go there for lunch today and order one of their specials. For $6.99 you can pick two items from the Lunch Special selection they offer, and you also get a fountain drink and two breadsticks. I opted to pay 20¢ extra for a bottled water instead of soda. The choices for the food are: Spaghetti (with Marinara or Meat Sauce), Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce, Penne with Marinara, Ravioli (with Marinara or Meat Sauce), Lasagna with Meat Sauce, Cheese or Pepperoni Pizza Slice or Side Salad. The pasta dishes for the lunch special are half-portions of the normal size. I ordered through the app for quicker service and with my lunch special I chose ravioli, but it allowed me to get the Creamy Basil Sauce instead of Marinara or Meat Sauce and I also got a slice of cheese pizza. Fantastic deal at only $7.19 total! The service was good and the staff was friendly! My food was ready about 10 minutes earlier than expected, so I didn't have to wait at all! Nice! However, the most important thing (aside from cleanliness) in a restaurant is the food. Is the food tasty? Is it worth the money? Is it fresh? Would you go back here? Unfortunately, it's a no on all counts. The "Creamy Basil Sauce" is tasteless Alfredo Sauce drizzled with basil oil. Very oily, very bland, and almost makes you sick to your stomach. The raviolis taste like they were previously frozen (which they probably were, but they TASTE like it, so not that great) and the cheese inside was absolutely flavorless. The pizza was okay. Not good, not horrendous, just... meh. The sauce is a little on the sweeter side, which is odd since pizza is typically a savory dish. The breadsticks were over-cooked and had a nice aroma of garlic, however, the bread itself was also very sweet! How strange. I don't want sweet garlic bread. There were no utensils or napkins placed in my bag, which is a bummer because if someone is eating while traveling and just needs to pull over before hitting the road again, they will be eating pasta with their fingers. Yikes! It's a good thing I happened to be heading home and have utensils there. I just think it should be standard to provide utensils with takeaway orders that require them. The TL;DR is I will not be back to order for myself. If my kiddos want some tasteless pasta, I might swing back by for them since it's inexpensive, but probably not. It's cheaper (and tastier) to get a box of pasta and a jar of sauce from the grocery store. Oh well. Two stars because the staff was friendly, my food arrived quickly, and it's inexpensive. read more

I had always see. Billboard signs for this restaurant, and finally tried it the other day. For being a drive thru place it was pretty tasty. Their breadsticks are very good. The pack we had was breath garlicky and I enjoyed that very much. I tried a special item that they were having, a buffalo chicken Mac and cheese. It was actually very good. The Mac and cheese did have bacon in it, so a pre-warning if you can't have pork products or don't like bacon. The chicken was done well and the combination was great. My son went with me and had spaghetti. He said it was tasty and was something that would get again. They did have lunch specials that seemed like a good deal, but we had gotten the regular dish so I'm not sure if the portions of everything. They also offer Cheesecake Factory cheesecake for desert. This is a place we would go again. You need to wait for a bit after you order, but that means your food is freshly cooked so I don't mind. read more

Best fast food Italian restaurant! Unlimited bread sticks. Super fast service. Order at the counter, they bring it out to you. I was literally taking my first bite within 4 minutes if walking in the door. Was here in a Saturday, at 12:45, lunch time. Food was terrific, for fast food. I hade spaghetti with meat sauce. Plenty of sauce, too. It came with 4 breadsticks, but they come over twice to see if I needed more. I'll be back! read more

This used to be one of my go to spots for good cheap Italian, but not any more. I have been getting the same thing for years chicken Parmesan with extra past sauce. Some time recently they decided to change the recipe and start mixing Alfredo and spaghetti sauce together and it is gross . Very good food but the service left a lot to be desired. Ordered the lasagna and the wife ordered the fettuccini plus a side order of pizza sticks. The cashier really didn't seem happy to be there, which I understand of course but it felt like us just being there was an inconvenience. It took about twenty minutes to get our food and only because we finally asked where our food was. The food was very good but both meals were served cold. The pizza sticks were very hot though, so I presume someone was waiting for the entire meal to be finished. Either way we probably won't be returning. read more

Okay we came here for my fiance late b-day dinner and forgot a whole bunch of meals they forgot our chicken for chicken alferdo. It was cold the breadsticks was slightly hard and their sweet tea is not very good. For a first time try its kinda sucky the only thing good is the fried mot balls and their pizza. Wow. Has this place gone downhill fast. Employees that stand around and talk at the counter while customer are trying to get their attention. Not a welcoming place anymore. Soda and silverware area was unorganized and they were out of everything except a few forks. Both pop machines were out of Coke. They were not busy either. Carpets need swept and tables that had used plates and dishes on them for 20 minutes or so after that person left. This place is starting to look like an old rusty car with a ton of miles on it, that no one wants to put any money into. Panels missing on the outside façade and a general lack of maintenance on the building. My wife used to love this place and we would travel a little farther past other eating establishments to get to Fazoli's, but never again. Stick a fork in it, it's dying. read more

Don't waste your time and money. Ordered online and paid online. Was told be there at 7:12 and I arrived early but they were busy so it took about 10 minutes to get to the speaker in the drive thru. At 7:25 i get to the window and im told to pull up to the designated parking spot and my orders being bagged up. After 25 minutes I walk in and I ask for a manager and hear employees talking about how my order went to a different car and i needed to wait longer. Mind you I only ordered spaghetti and breadsticks. A family combo and it took 40 minutes longer for a pickup order. Like I said waste of time and money. read more

Visited fazolis after not being in one for many years. Either this one or all of them have really gone down hill. I have a feeling it's this one in particular. I get that it's fast food - but this place was pretty pathetic. First problem - the restaurant is FREEZING. I sit here - in said restaurant - wishing I had a winter jacket in 60 degree weather. Second problem - out of silver - all silverware, condiments, and coke. Third problem - when we told the gal who delivered our food of problem # 2 nothing was done. Fourth problem - a manager should not reprimand staff in front of customers about lack of silverware and 'what a mess' the dining area is. Especially when you have staff behind the cash register (3 or 4!!) playing catch with dressing packets. In addition - the restaurant is empty enough that she could have privately spoken to him rather than allowing the whole restaurant to hear. Thanks for nothing fazolis. I havent been to a Fazolis in a long time---wanted to see how they have stood up now in the quick serve era. Unfortunately I see nothing that makes them stand out and I think Piada does a more upscale version. Now that is not to say Fazolis doesnt serve a market, I would find this convenient for a family and the price is right, it just wasnt the quality I prefer. I went through the drive-thru Sunday around 9 pm. I ordered two spaghetti w/ meatballs, three chicken fettuccine Alfred's and an Primo Italian sub. When the person at the window handed me my food, she handed me bags stating what items were in each bag. I took her word for it since she repeated it all back. When I got home in Akron, I found out there were no meatballs in either spaghetti container, and there was no Primo Italian sub. I tried to call. The line was busy. I called at least twenty times. Line was always busy. I called them today. I told them what happened. He, the manager, said he couldn't help me without an actual receipt, which the window person failed to give me. I told the manager I can show them the actual transaction through my PNC phone app. He still was unwilling to help me. So, I ended up with sub average food and without the meatballs and sandwich that I paid for. They have my money. I want my money back or to be compensated for the items they shorted me on. I would advice anyone who orders to-go items to always demand a receipt; and check the bag to make certain your order is right. Don't take their word for it. UPDATE: I was able to talk to the manager who actually remembered not giving me my receipt. She said she would give me my two orders of meatballs, a Primo sub and would also give me an entree free of charge. I went there, and I got my order. They got my order right. The employees seemed complacent, not friendly. I have to say, however, they got my order right, and the food was pretty good. Not great, but good. Finally someone came out and told me they were closed, the owner tells them they can close whenever. This is chef boyardee out of a can on a plate. It is horrible. The pizza is very sub par. Frozen pizzas at the store are better.
