Welcome back Fazoli's!!! About 2 miles from it's original location from about 20 years ago and still in front of a Wal-Mart lol! Quick comfort food in a clean pleasant open bright fast food style restaurant. Great value for money! The portions were generous and the food was fantastic. They bring the food to you and your help yourself to the drink station. Friendly staff and quick service.

I grew up eating at Fazoli's and then they closed, and when I saw they were back I knew I had to make it in at some point. I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious and fresh, the service was quick and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. There was so much leftover and I'm pretty particular about leftover food and reheating but this reheated nicely. I'm so glad it's back and I will definitely be visiting again.

It's fast Italian food. Please don't go in expecting Uncle Sal's or some other upscale Italian. But I love it for what it is! Dinner was around 8:30pm on a Thursday. No one else in the restaurant. I ordered baked spaghetti with meatballs and my guy ordered meatballs. Of course, meals are served with breadsticks! Those breadsticks...so buttery, hot, and perfectly sessoned. Dinner was only around $25 but we didn't order drinks I am glad Fazoli's is not closer to me otherwise I'd be there often.

Back in the early 2000's we used to eat at Fazoli's all the time. There was nothing like getting a basket of warm breadsticks with your meal. In 2008, all of the Fazoli's locations in Arizona closed up shop. Now they are making a comeback. This particular location is at Mesa Riverview and has a drive-thru. A group of us came here for an early dinner. I was the only one in our party that dined at Fazoli's in the old days and shared some stories with them of coming here for lunch. The breadsticks are still the highlight of Fazoli's and just as good as ever. A server walks around with a basket of breadsticks and offers some if you want a couple extra with your meal. I used to always get their Fettuccine Alfredo back in the old days. I tried something different and got the Baked Ziti with some Fried Mozzarella Bites. The food wasn't bad. I enjoyed the feelings of nostalgia that I got from returning here after so many years. But at the same time, it is not the same franchise anymore after multiple ownership changes. I don't live far from here and will stop by again for lunch or something in the near future.

Second time at this location. Stopped in for lunch on my way to Wickenburg for my friend's wedding. Had the Tortellini Cheese Bake & it was so good & very filling! Sweet tea was my go-to drink. The sweet tea here is very good! I love the choices here. So much variety! The service is good as well. Ambiance is good. I just wish there was one in Apache Junction or Queen Creek!

We always used to go to fazoli's back before they left the valley for over a decade. We came here looking to see if it was the same, and while there are some of the same things, it's actually different. The atmosphere is exactly what you would think from a fast food restaurant, although there are more little cubbies and dividers making it more intimate than some. If you are dining in, food is served on real plates and bowls, which is one of the changes from the original fazoli's. The food here is okay, it's definitely not gourmet, but it is a really great change from burgers and chicken for fast food and it really is fine. It feels more like a real meal. If you dine in, it is unlimited breadsticks. One of the staff members brings them around, and when you get low there's more behind it. The price is here are really really good. I got a tortellini and spaghetti with meat sauce combo for only $7.99. That's an amazingly cheap price for what was a really big dinner when you pair it with the unlimited breadsticks. Of course I didn't finish it, but with two adult sons, there's never a problem finding someone to take my leftovers. We will always come here if there's if there's always around. It is fast food that feels like real food. It is super affordable. There's nothing to keep us away.

So I use to eat at Fazoli's back years ago when they were in the Phoenix/Mesa area before they disappeared and they were a go to. Then they were gone. So they're back, and this is the first time I've made it by. When I walked up to the counter the guy working came across as a little much. The name on my receipt was Martha but I don't think that was him as he didn't look like a Martha. Anyway, like I said, he came across a little over the top, but as we progressed in the conversation, he really started to grow on me. His attitude, demeanor, and overall presence was pure CUSTOMER SERVICE! He was very outgoing, very talkative, very cool, and very nice. I listened to him with others while waiting for my food and he was the same with them. The food was as expected. It's fast food, sure, but it's very flavorful and fresh and it makes it worth the price you pay. The loaded fettuccine alfredo was better than I've had at even like Olive Garden. The breadsticks? I LOVE THEM!!! The place was clean and actually kinda intimate and I was impressed that there was someone out cleaning tables and what not. So I give them five stars for this visit because the food is very good for what it is and the guy working? Well he made my day!

After 16 years, we have come back to Fazoli's!!! They've come back to Mesa, Sky Harbor, and Glendale in AZ! So happy that they are back and they didn't disappoint. The food (Chicken Fettuccini and Spaghetti with Meatballs was as good or better than what we remembered! I read a bunch of posts that said the unlimited breadsticks were no longer available and that was not the case, so that was a pleasant surprise. And on top of it all, the staff was fantastic, they had 3 people walking the dining area to make sure we had everything we wanted and I didn't feel like they were intruding! We will definitely be back!

Hello folks, today Jen & I are going to see the Premiere Opening of " Weapons " as we were given free tickets to go thanks to our friend Derk, so we decided to get some to eat as we would be getting out late, Fazoli's is back in Arizona after being gone for some time so decided to go there, our waiter was very nice & polite as we order our dishes, the inside wasn't bad looked pretty much like all fast food joints, it was pretty quiet for the most part as I'm sure we were a little early before the rush, we both ordered something different as we like to share the dish with each other, the wait wasn't long for the food and after seeing the portion size we wished we ordered one dish rather then two, everything seemed to taste the same as we remembered from past experience, I had the Chicken Alfredo with Chicken, the chicken seemed a bit on the dry side but eatable, Jen had the Baked Ziti which was pretty good, the bread stick didn't look to be that fresh ( maybe due to sitting under a heat lamp to long ) so only had a few bits of them. I'm not sure if I'll be back soon but over all it wasn't bad. So I'll let you be the judge on your visit with a thumbs or thumbs

Drive thru is horrendous, they take so long when nobody is there. The food is below average for waiting that long. Breadsticks are always doughy and soggy. This location is absolute garbage. This time I found a piece of hair in my food when I was trying stir up the noddles. Won't ever be returning to another fazolis again. Tasted like plastic.

Q: Why did the Italian pasta chef become a boxer? A: He kneaded dough but couldn't find a penne. As a born and raised Arizonan, I remember Fazoli's quite fondly. They had been in Phoenix for a hot minute before they disappeared in the early 2000s. Of course, when they were in town, I was still quite young and who knows if I could trust my tastebuds. Now that they're back, I wanted to give them a try with an adult palate. The two of us ordered twelve breadsticks and two samplers (one of them was the Ultimate Sampler: Fettuccine Alfredo, Penne with Meat Sauce, Spaghetti and Meatball, Lasagna with Meat Sauce) We went through the drive-thru and it still took around 30 minutes since it was busy. After taking it home and digging in, I felt satisfied, but it's far from the Fazoli's I remembered. It's not the best pasta but they're not bad. The breadsticks are still amazing though. I would never say no to Fazoli's as my thoughts on them are caked in nostalgia but I wouldn't say you HAVE to try them. If they were closer, I could see myself visiting them as often as I did in my youth. But as an adult? Eh, we got spaghetti at home.

If you were around for the late 1900s or early 2000s, you have a good chance of remembering this place. My childhood home was about half a mile to a Fazoli's and I remember liking this place. Now that they're back and I have my big boy adult tastebuds, I think the rose colored glasses are off. Everything tasted the same and the noodles leaned towards the overcooked side. The only saving grace is that the breadsticks are as good as ever. I wouldn't make it a destination and go out of my way to go dine at a Fazoli's but if they opened a location closer to home, I might.

I purchased the two slices of pizza with bread sticks. I should have just ordered the bread sticks. I'm from the Midwest and this is not the Fazoli's from the Indiana Toll Road I remember. read more

Food was good.. I'm happy your back but the employees at the Mesa location need be less high and considerate on the orders we went through the drive thru the guy at the window just stood there talking about his pen he just hit with his supervisor another employee gave us the salads with wrong dressings after he asked us 3 times and then they just stood there stared at us until we said we needed the rest of our order. DUH it was a unpleasant long visit read more

Their breadsticks are pretty yummy but everything is pretty much the most basic version of the dish and things you could make in 15 minutes with a jar of your favorite marinara and noodle of choice. LOL half a point because during their opening they gave out free breadsticks. read more

I WONT BE BACK!!! The person taking my order ID on receipt showing DTOT today around 630 pm. female possible manager had the WORST attitude from me ordering the food as listed on the menu to her reading back to complete opposite, it was frustrating even placing the order I should've left right then. I get to the window she is visibly upset swinging the window open with aggression, angry face then proceeds to try continue the conversation we were having at the menu, maam the menu reads this and you are reading back something completely different. she slams the window then after we sat waiting 10 mins she then asks us to pull to the front to bring our food, we waited about 15 mins. we only ordered 2 ravioli plates and 6 bread sticks and the place was empty or minimal people and no one in drive thu. she came out with our food no smile or anything. I pray nothing was done to our food. then when we got home to eat it was the saltiest meal I ever had in my life, did she pour salt in everything on purpose? I can't even eat this, everything is absolutely disgusting $36.03 in the trash. We will not be back!!! read more

Food was bland, cold, and gross. I asked for no bacon on my loaded fettuccine Alfredo and there were still bits of bacon in it. The breadsticks tasted old and full of grease. Even the salad was terrible. I did have a strawberry Italian ice drink and that was good. The food was so bad I got food poisoning afterwards. Never again. read more

Haven't even eaten here and I doubt we ever will. They sent me a $3 off coupon on Jan 4th that expired on Dec 31, 2023. When I questioned this, they sent me a replacement coupon for $5 off. Shortly thereafter, they rescinded the coupon and substituted a $3 off one. You can only use these coupons for online orders, but now I find that the new Mesa Fazoli's doesn't accept online orders. What a freaking joke and a massive marketing failure!! read more

Nostalgia isn't enough to salvage the poor experience. People were all kind but it took 3 cars 30 minutes in the drive thru at 11:30AM. As for the food, breadsticks were great, a little over oiled but tasty. Outside of that, pasta quality is abhorrent, well below Olive Garden in quality. Tried 3 different pastas, all tasted like TV dinners I can't speak for the pizza but Fazolis closed down for a reason...this one isn't likely to last. read more

first time ever going to fazolis Room mate was gushing about it so we stopped by in the drive through. Right off the bat I will say for the price it was not at all bad esp for fast food Italian which in its self has got to be hard to do. I got the classic sampler, the spaghetti sauce was not anything to write home to the Italian side of my family but again for the price pretty damn good and the bread sticks were soft and garlicy goodness will be back again. The sampler for about $11 feed both me and my partner was quite enjoyable :D read more

This is not fast. Be prepared to wait over an hour for food. Ordered the same two meals. Looks like they put chicken on one and not the other. Didn't receive all the ordered items in the drive thru and didn't notice until we got home. Food is pretty salty and not much flavor. Service was nonexistent. read more

I think this place really could be 5 stars, but I have to be honest here and deduct a star for the undersized dining room. Perhaps they did not anticipate the demand for the restaurant, but the seating situation is so limited that people are holding tables while their friends wait what could be 30 minutes in line. I realized that is not Fazoli's fault, but I can only recommend this place for carry out only at least until the hype settles down, Looking forward to when they turn on online ordering. Do not go here seriously. I have no idea who hyped this place up. Gave my mom food poisoning and it wasn't even food she finished, she ended up throwing it out, and also up ironically. Cheap ingredients and was almost like it was watered down. Stay away. read more

Ordered two lunch specials the food was overall mid and all tasted like microwave food. The very high pregnant woman with insane attitude at the window said my name was "hella weird". What I thought was "hella weird" was the fact that this place is ran by crackheads. And a bonus was the day old salad they gave me. Bread sticks were good tho. read more

Went today just for a quick snack while we were running errands. Ordered pizza bread sticks. Seems easy enough, right? Nope. We were the only people there. Took 12 minutes in the drive thru. Literally no one else there. The girl who was working the drive thru, her name was Shantel. After she took our payment, she never came back to the window. She was bent over the counter on her phone texting and then actually talking on her phone. Finally an employee saw me waiting for 10+ minutes and came up to apologize, said she didn't know what was going on and gave us some breadsticks. That was nice of her. It was about another 5 minutes when we got our food. It was just wild that our stupid little $4 order of pizza breadsticks took close to 15 minutes. And only one employee acknowledged us after payment. I love their food but idk if I'll be back. read more

Service was great, food not so much. Alfredo was worse than some microwaveable meals I've had. The sauce was not creamy at all. The consistency was more like a soup. It splashed all over me eating it. Chicken had little flavor to add to the dish as well. Definitely not bacon just tiny bacon bits... maybe the red pasta is better but avoid the alfredo if you have taste buds... read more

If you're expecting gourmet, you're not gonna get that. This is Fazoli's y'all. Don't know? You better ask somebody! Best damn cafeteria style pizza and pasta, breadsticks are fire, and a lot of bang for your buck! It's exactly as I remember it in my high school days. We called 1/2 hr before closing, on a Saturday night. Rigo answered, I told him we had a family of 9 adults and 7 kids if he would accept our late business. not only did he accept us with open arms he told the kitchen we'd be there in 15 mins. With little time to prep, we arrived and they killed it. Everyone was happy with food, and the breadsticks kept coming in hot. Rigo (GM) has earned our respect and business, we'll be back. Absolutely amazing experience, I came in today with my fiancé. The first time I had been since I was a kid and in no way did this disappoint. I recommend dinning in for the full experience and I would like to give praise to the employee Mia. She is so awesome and way more attentive than most dine in restaurants these days, her attitude was way top notch, she was so happy and kept the bread sticks coming and made sure that we were pleased. Despite these reviews me and my husband LOVE THIS PLACE. We have always had the best service from there and the food is SO GOOD. We actually prefer their pasta over Olive Garden. They have the most flavorful fettuccine! Normally we have to add a lot of salt and pepper but Fazoli's is perfect! Their portions are massive and THEYRE SO AFFORDABLE! If you eat inside it's unlimited breadsticks! Also recommend their sweet tea!!! It's the perfect amount of sweet but also a strong flavored tea unlike some other places that just taste like sweet water or something! It's always been clean in this location and I absolutely love it there! I always ask for a side of broccoli for my fettuccine and they don't charge me ! They're just amazing !!! do NOT go here. we heard from someone that the food was good but we were disappointed. the cashiers were nice however, the pizza was old and you could tell it was reheated, the alfredo sauce tasted like a store bought alfredo sauce, and the pizza didn't taste good and it made mine and my coworkers stomach's upset a few hours after eating from there. the only food that was okay were the breadsticks read more

waited over an hour just for them to get our order completely wrong!!!! i called and heather told em theyll remake it and to call ahead and before i come so i dont have to wait again and just pick up my food. i call and the guy tells me he will put it in the oven -i get there about 30 mins later and come in and my food isnt ready nor was it in the oven!!! i had to wait in line again and wait for my food to be prepared. AND STILL GOT MY DAMN ORDER WRONG! fucking horrible !!!! read more

The food is terrible and literally tasteless. The staff is rude. The email coupons they never honor, and tye manager is dismissive of any issue you have. There is never enough seating and they try to overcome the seating priblem by only opening one register, which means the line is out the door. Take my advice and stay away from this awful restaurant! Note the app is terrible too! read more

The calamari was tempting but we'll save that for next time. Wife ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and I ordered the usual Chicken Parmesan which came with a side of pasta. It was actually a harder choice than usual because I walked thru the restaurant before I ordered and so many dishes looked good, as did the pizza. But I went with the usual. Let's start with the wife, which truly speaks to the five stars because she frankly doesn't love Italian food. She eats it when I beg. And she loved it. She actually proactively mentioned she wanted to go back. That's like 7 stars right there it's so abnormal. I agree with her. The chicken parm was fantastic. Amazing. To top it off, our server was great and when I mentioned we were new to the area and it was our first trip she was so nice telling us the history of the original and the other stores, and the manager later stopped by to continue that conversation as the server told her we were new. I mentioned that I live closer to the Scottsdale store, and she said it's the same food and I'll like it just as much. I'll have a hard time deciding which shop to return to - it might be worth the drive to the original just for the ambiance, but I'll give the other a try soon because it was just that good! 5 stars. This was a little disappointed for the price point and hoping to get more protein. The other really annoying part when dining at Vito's is parking. I circled around twice including the parking lot by the car wash and State Farm and called Vito's asking for advice where to park and was told Walgreens across the street due to a big party they were having in the basement. Lastly, Vito's has a happy hour menu, the discount used to be better in the past so lately I haven't ordered from it. However, the frustrating part is in the summer the only way to benefit from them is to sit outside on the patio. I wish they allowed for seating for happy hour specials during hot summer months to be inside as well.

Onto the entrees, the lasagne bolognese and the eggplant parm with ravioli instead of the sautéed spinach as recommended by Sal. Both were so DELICIOUS. The eggplant parm was light and flavorful which the lasagne was dense but packed with so much goodness. It was a lot of food so we had to take most to go, which will be another 2-4 meals for us. We finished with a chocolate peanut butter mousse dessert which was the cheery in top of a great meal. I'm so happy fate brought us here. I can't wait to go back.

We were given wet wipes, hair ties, aprons. The tables come with a little stacked swivel shelves for putting more food so it won't crowd the tables. There was a station for making the sauces as well as rice porridge and some fruits. And there was a dessert station too. They offer all you can eat for $37 for set A or $47 for set B which is the premium. We selected the $37 AYCE. We chose mushroom and tomato soup base enjoyed pork belly, beef brisket, basa fish, Napa cabbage, enoki, corn, bean curd, and more. They have 3 options for Bogo free of the milk tea. A few staff came over to sing happy birthday and give a cheese cake slice. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was so full and would happily come back again.

When this visit first started, I was honestly very disappointed. There were several moments during the ordering process that negatively affected our experience. I was repeatedly interrupted while ordering, my request to use the same soup base in two sections of the four-part pot for my child was denied, and after choosing the All You Can Eat option, I was immediately warned about leftover penalties before we had even started ordering. Those interactions made me feel more like I was being monitored than welcomed, which was very different from the level of hospitality I expected from Haidilao. Instead of ignoring my concerns, the dining room manager, Evi, took the time to listen to everything I had to say. I explained my entire experience, including my disappointment from a previous visit when I ordered a Zootopia promotion but was never told about or given the promotional gift. Evi was patient, professional, and genuinely wanted to understand why I was unhappy. More importantly, the management acknowledged my feedback and told me they would review and improve these issues. They also generously comped our entire meal, which I appreciated--not because I wanted free food, but because it showed they took customer feedback seriously. After those initial issues, the rest of our meal was excellent. The food quality was great, and the service for the remainder of the visit was attentive, friendly, and exactly what I had hoped for when coming to Haidilao. Nobody gets everything right every time. What matters to me is how a business responds when something goes wrong. In this case, they listened instead of arguing, took responsibility instead of making excuses, and made a sincere effort to make things right. Because of that attitude, I'm happy to update my review to 5 stars. I truly hope the improvements we discussed become part of the experience for every future customer, because that's the Haidilao reputation people come here expecting.
