Gabriel is my stylist and I thought I lost him when I called a previous salon to make an appointment. Gabriel has grown professionally and his skill is ever so precise. Red 7 should be sad to see him go, yet supportive of the talent he shows as he continues his career. When I met Gabriel, my hair was all one length...and then I cut it all off...and now I'm trying for a precision cut around jaw length. After all these years with Gabriel I have complete trust in him. I don't bring him magazine clippings because he listens. We talk about the ideas I have and a goal (such as growing it out). I have been seeing Chase for my haircuts for over 5 years. He is the absolute BEST stylist I've ever had. My hair is thick and course and he will always take the time to talk to you about a style that you want to go into and makes suggestions as to what works best with your hair! This is so hard to come by. Most stylists just cut your hair how you suggest not taking into consideration what would look and work best. This head of hair would be a disaster without you!!! I paint and have decorated and I am very aware of colors and the various shades. Hence, I am also aware when people have dyed their hair the wrong color for their skin. Believe the hype. Gabriel is a hair wizard. He took my hair, which was out of control from months of neglect (my bad) and a bad haircut that I got at Salon V (their bad), and transformed it into something that feels great and looks better. Where Gabriel goes, I go. Was very happy with my previous stylist, we cut my hair for 10 years. Just got tired of driving north on Saturdays, so looked for a local option. I found Gabriel at his previous salon. Not only was it more convenient, but a better cut at less cost. My cut looks good for weeks, no more bad hair days. The only reason Fawn Studio isn't five stars is the start up kinks, but I was there two days after opening. Sure it will be worked out. In the meantime, go see Gabriel. read more

I've been going to Fawn for about a year now, specifically for Quinn. The studio is bright and clean, and Quinn does a great job with my hair everytime! The studio also does neck and bang trims in between haircuts for free, which is wonderful for my pixie cut. Super friendly staff, lovely salon, great haircuts. I am 45+ and can even imagine anyone would be disappointed. I love love love love Fawn Studio I don't want to tell anyone who my hairdresser is because I don't want people making so many appointments that I can't get in to see them. I had really bad damaged hair (burned) and I had to cut all off! After it grew for 6 months, came in w a picture and said this is what I want. About 4 years ago I decided to chop off my elbow length locks into a pixie and I was referred to Kara. Not only was she absurdly personable and kind, her hair cutting skills are seriously out of this world. I can and do refer to anyone who asks where I have my hair done (and people ask all the time! Apparently great pixies are hard to come by.) Having such short hair doesn't leave a lot of options for different style, but Kara is inventive and so great at reading my needs that we try something new almost every time I see her and the results are always an absolute knock out. Gabriel does work on my hair. Every time I leave his chair, I feel so much prettier and more put together. He takes my wavy, thick, unruly hair and helps it lay nicely, with beautiful shine and flow. I think it is expensive for a haircut but I cannot help but go back because no one else can do what they do at Fawn. Sometimes it's worth it to pay more and Fawns proves that. I get less haircuts because it grows nicely and they have very unique but great products. I love the Verb leave in conditioner spray. I would highly recommend Fawn and Gabriel to anyone. Quinn is amazingly talented at cutting and styling hair. I have really thick hair (the actual strands are fine) that has a tendency to frizz because the curls never quite develop, but Quinn makes my hair look GOOD. She understands that I don't want to spend any time styling and that I have no hair-styling knowledge, so she cuts these gorgeous long layers that honestly look polished even with my wash-and-run-to-class habit. I used to live within walking distance of Fawn and now live in the city but I still drive up for appointments because I love that she understands that a flattering hairstyle has to work with the person's lifestyle, not just their face shape. read more
