I have been wanting to go to their Montclair location since a long time and so glad they opened one in Weehawken! I was super excited to see their dedicated vegan menu and the variety of options they provided. We went to a friend's farewell party and we all had a blast! The cocktails are great here - we tried many of them. I loved mushroom tarts flambee and the server suggested me to order gnocchi and squash which as well I loved it. The service was great and the ambiance is trendy. I would return here to try their brunch menu once.

We had dinner Friday nite but the restaurant wasn't crowded probably due to a labor day weekend. We enjoyed the heirloom tomatoe salad which was sweet and savory. The creamy liguine tasted ok. My chicken with barley, corn and peas were dry and I had a stomach ache afterwards. I think the barley was little undercooked. The lemon sole and the grilled shrimp dishes were all overcooked and the temperature of all the food came out not hot enough. Considering the price the dishes didn't taste good. But the service was excellent and all the servers were very friendly and nice.

My husband and I had brunch here the week that it opened and were impressed with the food, ambiance, and service. The interior is posh and modern with a beautiful bar area. Our waitress was so friendly and the pacing of the meal was perfect. We started with the red berry parfait, brunch basket (the pain au chocolat was definitely the favorite) and shrimp cocktail. For my main I tried the mushroom omelette, which was packed with mushrooms and cheese! Hoping to try the dinner menu next time we are in town!

I have been wanting to go to the Montclair location since forever!! When I got to know they have opened another location to weehawkan, for sure I wasn't making any more excuses! Ordered way too much so please refer to the photos, can't write the entire menu here ;) The ambience was very elegant, the servers were polite and the food was as good as I was expecting. The octopus was really the clear winner with fig tart right next in line! The fish was super soft and it was a great evening spent with friends! Want to try the brunch menu now ;)

Came back to also try their brunch and can also confirm it is equally good. Service was great during brunch as well which was much appreciated. The food is what keeps us coming back though. For brunch we went with the 2 course prix fixe. The main course was a crab benedict and it was delicious with great flavors. The prix fixe also came with a mimosa which was a nice little addition. Vibes were in line with our last visit - cute place and designed well. Benefit of brunch time is that you get to enjoy some natural light as well. Will definitely be back.

Recently decided to try Faubourg on a random Friday afternoon. I was headed there for lunch but to my surprise they have brunch Fridays and Saturdays. It was a beautiful day out so I sat outside. Not the restaurant's fault but I do wish it wasn't surrounded by buildings and you could see the view. Anyway, the brunch menu was cute and quaint. Its what I would expect from a french inspired restaurant. The server was very friendly however when she came to ask for my drink order, I wish she mentioned that the brunch meals came with a mimosa or bloody mary. I would not have ordered a separate drink. Nonetheless I started off with their Cremant. Which was very good! I did not do the prefix 2 course, though that is a very good deal. Instead I ordered alacarte and had the chicken and baby kale. It was very good. It was light yet filling. Everything tasted fresh. I would definitely come back for the brunch and I also would like to try dinner. My only gripe is that the restaurant allows people to have dogs outside when dining. I know we are in the era of bring your dog everywhere and I have no issues with dogs. In this instance, I sat near a fluffy dog and the wind was blowing. Quite a few dog hairs landed on my table and on my meal. This shortened my stay. I definitely would have stayed longer for another drink. There was also no where else to move so it turned me off and I did not finish my meal. I will still come back and sit inside if there are dogs outside.

Back at my favorite spot again. This time I visited for brunch! Exceptional food and service as usual. Definitely check out the prix fixe menu. You get a choice of elderflower or lychee mimosa, Bloody Mary, or juice. It also comes with a 2 course option. We all had the soup of the day, which was a mushroom cream soup. The egg white frittata and salmon were excellent. We ended our meal with a cappuccino and cranberry cheesecake. Simply the best!

Very yummy French spot which will undoubtedly become a hotspot in the area. The reaction of my own party and tables around me was a lot of oohs and aahs as we peeked at the delicious dishes coming out. It's one of those places where you probably can't go wrong with whatever you order. They also have a vegan menu on request!

As good as we expected - we are huge fans of the Montclair location. Decor is on point along with the service. Food is consistently great. Look forward to visiting this location again.

City Winery is a great venue that showcases great talent with great staff, however, there are a few tips & tricks you must be prepared for to fully enjoy your experience. 1. Come early. Seating is somewhat first come, first serve. My most recent experience was at the sold out show for Teedra Moses. My tickets were purchased off a waitlist, therefore my original seat was at a high top located against the wall, with another couple. It was not comfortable at all. I politely asked our server for another seating option which she hesitantly obliged given our early arrival. I also purchased a bottle of wine, which our server was not aware of. Being early allowed us to place our order and hash this out without disruption to the show. 2. You will be sat with another party unless you come with a party of 4 or more. 3. I typically dine elsewhere prior to or after the show. The menu is not heavy, plus it is challenging to enjoy the show while eating. All in City Winery is spectacular for what it is. The main takeaway is to plan ahead.

The entire store and bar is very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. There's 3 floors, the bottom floor which located another bar, the main floor which is street level and has the coffee bar and merch, and the top floor which included the Arriviamo Bar. Our server was very nice but didn't catch his name. We couldn't choose which drinks to get so we settled on the espresso martini flight which includes their espresso martini, double matcha espresso margarita, and ube espresso martini. * Espresso martini: tasted good, foam was perfect sweetness, can barely taste the alcohol * Double matcha margarita: good, matcha foam was good, you can definitely taste the tequila in this but they seem to use good tequila * Ube martini: nice sweet drink, but doesn't taste like ube at all (to be expected, but the ube cold foam on their regular coffee drinks has more of a hint of ube than this drink does) * Matcha butterfly pea swirl cake: has a nice dense texture, light taste of matcha, butterfly pea cream also has a thick creamy texture and a very light taste, perfect snack for a drink with a strong taste Overall good experience, would definitely be back to try the other drinks here and downstairs.

We were seated in about 5 minutes which was great and had the choice to sit wherever we wanted. We ended up getting the seasonal flight, a spring pea flower tart and a pistachio cookie. The food was good but it didn't stand out. A lil bit pricey as well for what you get. The flights are smaller sized than the normal drinks but that's what you'd expect. However the drinks were made well and tasted great. Loved the ube cloud drink the most. Overall a pleasant experience but nothing that wow'd me. I'd stop by to experience it at least once.

It was a fabulous setup with beautiful strung up lights lining the ceiling. While we waited to be seated we were given glasses of sparkling white wine. Our waiter told us that the space for the JBF LTD was donated by one of the JBF board members. Very cool. Eventually, we were seated at our communal table and were given a green garden gazpacho to start. It had pickled green strawberries which were surprisingly very good. Usually you throw the green strawberries out of the bunch and only eat the red ripe ones. David Kinch opened our eyes to eating this unripened fruit and I will never look at green strawberries the same! The soup was paired with vegetable beignets and a crispy vegetable chip - both were just perfect. Our next course was my girlfriend's favorite - an abalone salad nestled on a bed of romaine lettuce coupled with grilled cucumbers and an avocado-nori sauce. I loved the avocado-nori sauce with the tender abalone. The entree came next and was a succulent porcelet with the best crispy pork skins! It was served communal style which was kind of cool. There were two cuts of meat - belly and tenderloin. My favorite part was the skins. Dessert was a lovely popover with powdered sugar. Sweet, simple, and delicious. We had different wine pairings with each course and were semi-tipsy by then end of the meal. The best treat of the night was when David Kinch and John Paul Carmona came out and greeted the diners. They were both kind enough to sign my copy of the menu also. I'll be on the watch out for next years JBF pop up!

The salad was fresh, flavorful, and not too heavy; we were happy to start with something light before moving to the cheese fondue. The fondue was pure delight. Obviously at one level you can't go wrong melting a bunch of cheese together, but it was truly fantastic, better than other fondues we've had. If I would offer a mild criticism, I think the dippers aside from the bread (cooked cauliflower, cornichons, potatoes) were unexceptional - I would have liked maybe apples, raw cauliflower instead of cooked, and raw carrots or broccoli. But regardless we enjoyed every bite. For dessert we split the chocolate fondue, which was a dream. Here the dippers (bananas, strawberries, Belgian waffle bits) were perfect. I thought the waffles would be so-so but the waffles were flavorful with a perfect crunch to them. Our service was also stellar. At this kind of place one expects very good service, but my wife and I both thought that our waitress went above and beyond. Attentive without being overbearing, helpful with wine recommendations, great with a camera, and pleasant to talk to. I don't care as much about ambiance one way or the other, but it was a lovely setting, appropriate for fine dining. This is a great place to go for a date or special occasion and I recommend it to anyone.
