Real good bar. Selection of beer and food is pretty good. They have two floors of inside dining and have outdoor seating as well. Service is pretty attentive. Food can't out pretty fast.

Always a stop for us when we are in town to work an event at the McCormick Center!! Amazing food, great beer options, and a spacious two story location. One of our favorite things to order are the amazing nachos. They are loaded with toppings and are the perfect app to share. See you next time Fatpour!!!

Gold Rush Cocktail and Tenderloin Sliders

Very convenient next to hotel. Late bite. Sat outside. Not as noisy as inside. Beautiful evening. Had the tenderloin sliders. Nothing too special spice/seasoning wise but they were tender and tasty. Had the Gold Rush Cocktail. So good had to have a second one. Not cheap but hey you're down at McCormick Place. Service was attentive and friendly.

After a great time at the WNBA game at the Wintrust Arena, we were starving (after opting out of burgers and hotdogs in the arena.) we crossed our fingers and headed across the street to FatPour Tapworks. It was full of customers, but they were able to sit us upstairs. Our servers were Stephanie and Justin and they worked that room like a well oiled machine. We ordered some local beers, sliders and a huge order of nachos. Food was delicious and left full and happy.

Burger + Mac + Mashed Potatoes

This place is pretty solid. I live right by it so it's easy to stop on by. It's definitely a sports bar so if you're into that then come here as they have a lot of TV's going. It can get a bit loud in there but that comes with the territory. The burgers are always good in my opinion. Service is just okay.

Good option if your near McCormick place. Food is good, great beer selection, nice selection of TVs inside, service is mid Pro Tip: seating outdoor when weather is nice

We were immediately sat down and I ordered a pizza, salad and beer. It was busy but the service came pretty fast. March Madness is currently going on so fans and convention goers were occupying the venue. I enjoyed all the food, and the drinks were cool. This has always been my go to when going to Chicago for the convention.

Chicken sandwich and side salad
Garret H.

1. Love the Russian bartender. 2. Ordered the chicken sandwich and the side salad, most excellent. The vinaigrette dressing that they provided was amazing on the salad. 3. The chicken sandwich might be the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, and the atmosphere was really good and relaxed. Good job for a hotel restaurant/bar.

Grilled Wings with Parmesan

I stopped in after arriving to Chicago on a trip for my wife's work. It was simply nearby, No expectations going in. The staff was friendly, and speedy. The grilled wings I got were some of the most incredible chicken wings I've ever eaten. My actual order was garlic Parmesan grilled chicken wings which arrived quickly with a great portion size to fill me up with plenty of ranch and carrots/celery. The meat was falling off the bone as I bit into each wing and the crispy grilled goodness was to die for. My water cup was never empty and the wait time for a beer refill was almost in the negative. I finished my sip and was nearly immediately checked on. It's a two story building with lots of space on both floors and TVs with all the sports you could ask for. Highly recommended!

Bear down!

My husband and I came here to watch the bears game. Came about an hour before the game started on Sunday night and had our pick of seats. We sat at the end of the bar. By the time kickoff happened, the bar was busy. Service was pretty good for how busy it was. We didn't order any regular food, only the fat cake. It was dense and rich and gigantic! Absolutely delicious. I ordered a pear nojito but it mostly tasted like sprite with lime juice. The blueberry pancake martini on the other hand was absolutely amazing! I could've bad 10 of them.

Burger and sweet potato fries

I've eaten here several times with my family and always enjoyed the food. Today not so much. Several items my family wished to order were out of supply which was odd for 3:00 on a Wednesday and the restaurant was not crowded. I've enjoyed their burger and sweet potato fries a great deal in the past. But today's order was sorely lacking. My order was rather light on the sweet potato fries and this "little"burger was meh at best. I should have complained but we were pressed for time. Unfortunately this was not the quality meal I've come to expect from Fatpour.

Honestly, I swear I could smell it from a block away, and the closer I got, the stronger it became. It was basically a scent trail pulling me in. Inside had that classic bar-meets-pizza-place feel. Sports playing on the TVs, people packed around the tables, drinks at the bar, and the sound of everyone having a good time. Even the second floor was full. It was busy, but it fit the place perfectly. The staff were super nice and gave us some good recommendations. Of course, I had to get the Chicago-style pan pizza with pepperoni, onions, and bell peppers. When it came out, it looked incredible. That signature Pequod's crust had this dark golden, almost caramelized edge that was extra crispy without tasting burnt. The cheese had melted into the crust and around the edges, giving it this crispy, cheesy bite. The sauce was rich and savory with a little sweetness, and the pepperoni added that salty, meaty flavor. The onions and bell peppers brought a little sweetness and freshness that balanced everything out. Every bite had something going on and I'm already thinking about trying pineapple next time. I feel like that would be really good with this. Definitely plan ahead and make a reservation.

The server was nice and we got some appetizers started because we had to wait for about 40min before our pizza arrived. The garlic cheese bread was good and flavorful. The fries were fried nicely and it was quite delicious and both were good portions. We ordered the smallest deep dish pizza size. I think it was called meat on meat. When we got it it looked cool but there was not a lot of meat on it to be honest. The cheese was stretchy but maybe it was just that day or pizza, the dough was very thicky and gooey like. Either it was underbaked or there was a lot of liquid so it made the dough filling and unappetizing. One slice was plenty but I wish they added more meat on top because it didn't seem like it lived up to its name. They also sold merch and the restaurant was red and it had an oldie style which was cool and unique!

Wow - this is Chicago tavern pizza at its finest…read more Very nice ambiance, had a 30+ min wait around 8pm on a Thursday. We were waited by Bill - who gave great recommendations and provided great customer experience the entire time! 10/10 from him. The focaccia + burrata combo was incredible - I typically don't opt for bread + pizza, although this was so worth it. The focaccia was perfectly crispy yet so soft, and pairing burrata on top gave it that creamy/cold combo that was perfect. The pizza was very elevated - good simple ingredients with an incredible crunch. Extremely paper thin. Highly recommend to come here!

We ended up doing a walk-in on a Sunday night and showed up at 8 PM one hour before close. This worked out for us because we got a really good seat after only waiting for 20 minutes. Service is good and timely- the hostess was super kind and helpful. We started with some cocktails- a Negroni & a spritz (both were good & pretty strong). Then we split the Caesar salad and a pizza with half sausage/olive and mushroom/onion. Yeah, the pizza did blow me away- the crust is perfectly crunchy and so so thin. I wouldn't even describe it as traditional tavern style pizza because I think it's a really crunchy crust- but it's definitely wayyyyy better than Dimi Dimi (that's the most comparable crust imo). The sauce has a slight spice to it, and the whole pizza just feels very layered in terms of flavorful profile. The sausage was also spicy but very good and I absolutely loved the mushroom and onion duo. Sometimes when you go to a certain pizza places, it doesn't feel worth it, but all the ingredients felt elevated here and the pizza had an elevated taste. The Caesar salad had a nice light dressing and a ton of cheese. I wish that the lettuce had a bit more of a crunch to it, but they seemed to use butter lettuce. The inside feels like a classic Italian joint, but it's very small and simple Overall, so glad that I finally went and although it's not a place that I would go regularly because I live far, I would definitely come back!

Unfortunately, our most recent visit left me disappointed. We came in around 1:00 on a Sunday on a beautiful day, so we expected it to be busy. We ordered everything at once--two pizzas and a salad--knowing that service can take a little longer. The bartender was also serving most of the tables in our section. The salad came out right away, followed by our first pizza. We then waited another 30 minutes for the second pizza. Our server checked in and told us it was coming, and later let us know that she had spoken with the manager and that there had been an issue in the kitchen. Finally, the manager brought out our pizza and said, "I heard you waited a long time for this." What was disappointing was that there was no apology or any real acknowledgment beyond that, and no attempt to make up for the experience in any way. The wait itself really wasn't the problem. (Though it was awkward that one person in our party watched us eat while waiting for his pizza to arrive). We've been coming here for years, and we've always been willing to wait because we love the food. It was the lack of an apology or meaningful acknowledgment that bothered me. As longtime, consistent customers, we expected a little more when something went wrong. I still love the pizza, which honestly makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope this was just an isolated experience, because I'd really like to continue considering Robert's one of our Chicago favorites. Sadly I don't think we will be back.
