He came prepared with his tools, professional & got to work. After taking off the wheels on the rear of the car he saw that I needed new brake pads, calipers on both sides & a new rotar on the driver's side. James was able to find available new parts close by, gave me the price. Which was fair, upfront and honest. He then went to get the parts, came back and got to work. He even saw that I was 1/4 low on oil & picked that up too! I was able to stay in the comfort & convenience of my home while James took care of everything. I am very pleased & will definitely call upon James at 123 Roadside Service again.

I am so glad I finally discovered Car Tech. They have been in business for 20 years but I just…read morebecame aware of them last fall. I'm so glad I did. I had my first accident 2 weeks ago. I visited a couple of places regarding repairs. One quoted me a 2 week turn time and wanted me to pay for the parts up front. Car Tech was able to complete the work in just 5 days and they began the work prior to receiving my insurance check. Jack even let me borrow his truck while he was working on my car because I didn't have rental coverage. That's customer service! Thanks to Jack and the whole Car Tech team for taking such good care of me and my girl!

THEY WRECKED MY CAR!…read more They were supposed to swap a transmission and additional parts (clutch, bearings, pressure plate and so many more) and they wrecked my car on a test drive. They hit something and the wheel went into the fender, tearing up the suspension, brake, and damage to the fender and front bumper. When I spoke to the technicians they all told me different stories on what happened. The owner is a liar (he said a ball joint broke and it caused the wheel to get into the fender while it was on the lift) and replaced the broken parts with the cheapest parts that they could find. He complained because my performance parts that they damaged were too expensive and bought the cheapest crap that now needs to be replaced. They "fixed" everything that was broken and He (the owner) told me it was running great. Picked the car up and it limped home, barely ran. Took it back and they were supposed to replace the transmission they put in with my old one because the one they put in was "bad", even though it wasn't. Went to get the car again after the owner told me it was running great. I go to pick it up and I requested that the owner rides with me. Sure enough, the car drove like shit. Goes back to the shop because "my original transmission is now bad." If you are keeping count, this is now two "bad transmissions." When I finally pick the car up, it drove like garbage. The tech that worked on my car said that they just didn't want to mess with my car anymore and never took the transmission out. This is verified because I paid close attention to the short throw shifter that was installed. I confronted the owner after the second test drive with him in the car and he repeatedly lied over and over, and then had the audacity to ask me for payment. Part two: When I originally took the car there, I had a bunch of parts that they were supposed to install, including detailed instructions on what to do. After I finally got the car back home, they didn't install half of the parts that they were supposed too. On top of that, my tan interior, including the headliner, is stained with greasy hand prints. They car came back home completely in disarray. They interior pieces where never put back together, hood upright is broken, headlight assembly is broken, front end is janky, the list goes on and on. Had to take the car the someone else and fix ALL of their mistakes. 100 percent crooks!

Finding a mechanic who truly understands the complexities of a modern BMW can be a headache, but…read more**Rick's Auto Center** knocked it out of the park. I brought my **2021 BMW X7** in because the AC was struggling to keep the cabin cool--definitely not what you want in a luxury SUV. The team at Rick's was professional from the jump. They didn't just throw parts at the problem; they performed a precise diagnostic, identified the cooling issue, and had it blowing ice-cold again in no time. ### Why I Recommend Them: * **Expertise:** They clearly know their way around high-end German engineering. * **Transparency:** They explained the issue clearly and gave me a fair estimate before starting the work. * **Efficiency:** The turnaround time was impressive, especially considering the complexity of the X7's multi-zone climate system. If you're looking for a shop that offers dealership-level quality without the dealership-level runaround, Rick's is the place to go. My X7 feels (and cools) like new again!

The front desk receptionist attempts a fake friendliness but the overall vibe for this place is intolerance. I watched this same receptionist treat the person I was with so much more respect than I was shown, until she realized we were together. Oops!! The employee giving the estimate acted as though he couldn't have been more annoyed. Seems like such an odd way to greet a potential paying customer. He was rude, unfriendly and lacking in basic manners, not to mention customer service. I am extremely underwhelmed with waste of time that was visiting this company. I would never trust them with anything to do with my vehicle. Not to mention the overpriced quote that was basically thrown at me with no explanation. Visiting this location and having to interact with these people has truly been the worst part of my day. It's clear they have no idea how many reputable body shops exist within a two mile radius of their shop? I do not live in Indy anymore but am privy to the unacceptable small mentality that is many times found in towns like this. For some reason I thought things would be different in 2024. Yet here we are. I suggest going to Indy Color for your collision needs. They are immediately kind, friendly, professional, and welcoming to all customers. Their pricing is much more logical. I say venture just a few miles down the street and you will find superior service. No customer should have to beg for reasonable customer service when they plan to spend thousands of dollars. There are other body shops. Writing a review for this place was imperative and I hope this saves you a few minutes. MM your intolerance is showing.

This shop has a new customer for life with me. I implore everyone to take all of their car needs to this guy before he becomes too well known! His garage seems like an unoccupied barn and I dropped my car off early in the morning before he opened so I was low key nervous I even had the right place. Plus I had him work on my mercedes which made me nervous cuz most of our local mechanics wouldn't even touch it cuz it's too "complex." I was being quoted $200 for an oil change and that's if the mechanic was even willing to do it in the first place. I am not the biggest car expert but it's wild that so many of the big brand shops in this country won't even consider doing anything to a car that isn't a Ford or Chevy. But this guy got mine tuned up, filled my tires, topped off my coolant all for $73! Plus he had it done lickity split. Well done and I can't say enough what a relief it is to have met him. This guy deserves to have the biggest auto business in the county but I'm selfishly hoping he stays as small as he is now because he simply can't be beat and I want to keep him as my only mechanic.

You ask…read more Well... because he nearly convinced me to NOT get anything done during his initial inspection. Not even kidding. He was ready to pass on a quick easy job just to be fair and honest. Which I was super suspicious of (just kidding). So, back story. My wife was driving on 465 when she all the sudden heard a loud POP and the car started pulling heavily to the right. She was reasons shocked. So I googled auto repair near me because I definitely wasn't going back to the place in Indy I'd been before... reference my horrible review of Caliber Collision, and I found this guy. He's three minutes away from where I live and works out of a barn in his back yard so I was like, "whatever... if he does bad work I'll just Yelp him to death" and took my car to get it checked out. I was immediately impressed that the barn in in fact a legit mechanic workshop with hydraulic lifts and everything else you expect from a mechanic. So I was already impressed when he opened the door. Then he puts it through his 99 million point inspection and was like, "idk dude... I don't see anything wrong" to which I responded, "just replace the shocks anyway so my wife feels safe in the car". He already discussed pricing with me so I was good with that but then he comes out and says, "cool I'll have it ready for you tomorrow night". I was expecting like a week or something but he said less than 24 hour turn around. I was very impressed with that. Anyway to conclude this, I've gotten my car back and he did great work on it. Drives better than it did before. I am definitely going to be referring people I know to him in short order.

Anyway a few weeks have past, I made my last drop in Indianapolis when all of a sudden I lost all free play in my clutch. I found a truck stop. The next morning I grab my phone to look for a shop to adjust my clutch. I called this shop and spoke to Michael, the owner, and he said he'll be here in 30 mins. When I saw him arrived, I was relieved. He crawled underneath the truck and I bumped the starter a few times suddenly a bolt fell out. Now I dont know what to do, Michael took charge, called for a tow truck and had my truck towed to his shop. I was a bit leery, being that it was a new shop. But after I watch the techs go to work, I felt comfortable. The shop exceeded my expectations at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this shop. If i lived closer, I would have all my truck repairs done there.
