    On January 8, 2026, I brought my 2017 Mercedes-Benz E 300 to Pete's Service Center. The previous…read moreday, I called to discuss the issues I was having so they could repair them. I informed them that the automatic transmission would return to park when trying to shift to drive, and that it required several shifts before the transmission would skip to 3rd gear, after which the vehicle would run. I also informed them of an airbag malfunction message that appeared upon startup. I was told that they could fix those issues and bring the vehicle in. The next day, Pete's called, saying I needed a new transmission costing $14,000. I paid their service charge and retrieved my car. Pete's advisor, Brad Wilkerson, printed a four-page invoice with no repair information other than the transmission estimate of $13,395.90. An emailed invoice only showed photos of my vehicle. I brought my car to Mercedes-Benz of Indianapolis on January 14, 2026, requesting the same repairs I wanted from Pete's Service Center, and the 100,000-mile scheduled maintenance. Later, the Mercedes advisor told me their total cost would be about $6,000.00. I picked my vehicle up from them on January 21, 2026, and it runs well. I received text messages from Pete's on January 23, 2026, and February 9, 2026. The February 9th message said, "We made some recommendations for your 2017 Mercedes-Benz that you haven't taken care of yet." On February 13, 2026, I went to Pete's Service Center to tell them they did nothing to my vehicle to warrant a $212.09 charge. Also, I informed them that the Mercedes-Benz dealership repaired my transmission and much more for less than half the cost that they were asking. The advisor said, "We don't repair transmissions, only replace them with a used one." When I asked about the airbag error message, the advisor said, "We don't work on airbags." I told him that I would not have brought my vehicle if they had told me that in the beginning. I asked why they were texting me. The only "recommendation" they made was to replace the car's transmission. The person I spoke to offered a free oil change, which I declined. After I visited them on February 13, they sent what appeared to be comprehensive diagnostics to my email. I believe these were fake. Pete's Service Center is a dishonest business and should not claim it can repair Mercedes-Benz or other vehicles.

    Few things with this shop. I had my transmission and engine replaced. Took over 7 months for this…read moreprocess for this to get done. I will say I understand the process of parts and shipments. They had called my spouse to say they had it done for the first time, moments later he was called back and told they couldn't get it slipped into reverse. (The gear bearing were out of place.) I was able to come pick my car up from the shop after it was "done" and had to have it towed back the next day. As I drove it home I had noticed the car wasn't down shifting properly like a car should. They had to go back in for the issue fixed yet again. I got my car back and hadn't even put 100 miles on it and seen transmission fluid leaking that looked almost sluggish. (Pic inserted) after they had it cleared by 6 people so I was told. They failed a next time to make sure it was done properly. If that was supposedly done this wouldn't have happened. The transmission pan gasket was not placed/ seated properly. It was towed back to the same shop (I hope for the last time) to be seated properly. I came to pick up my car hoping for the final time I'd have to be doing this. Before I was even able to get into the car I noticed they had broke my cup holder off and had not been notified. This item is pretty expensive to replace. Nor did I receive my spare set of keys I let them utilize for the care of my car. At this moment I definitely do not ever recommend this place to have any work done. I'm feel very disappointed in their lack of care. You seriously can not win here from personal experience. (Pics go from last incident to first) If anything changes this will be updated. I will be calling in the morning to hopefully get an update on why my cup holder was broken and hopefully get my spare keys picked up as well as my car. I have not picked up the car as I just walked away in disappointment.

We are still waiting on video footage from and that was on Monday.... We are now on Saturday. Beware
