I feel lucky to have discovered him after dealing with so many horrible mechanics over the years. The very first time I went to him, he was very honest and saved me over $1800 by showing me that my transmission was not leaking like the last mechanic had lied to me about just to gouge me. Roy is incredibly knowledgeable and very methodical in his work and I trust him to take care of me every time I make an appointment to get my car serviced! He definitely has a loyal customer in me!

Not only was I charged an outrageous price to overhaul the front suspension, Roy did not install the new bushings that I provided. He lied about not needing to change them/or is incompetent (they were dry cracked). Either way, I have to wait for my next VA pension check and/or redo it myself. Ouch! Steer clear of this shop!

I won't deal with this company again. After communicating with the owner on what I was looking for,…read moreand requesting a "plug and play" system, what was sold and delivered was anything but plug and play. In addition, the system came with exactly ZERO instructions of any kind. Just an amp, an amp wiring kit (generic), the speakers, a line leveler (garbage), and a bunch of wiring and ends to try and make it work. No manuals or instructions whatsoever. This line leveler that was sold is a crappy way to try and make a 4-speaker system work, but it removes the ability to fade from front to back. Simply suggesting that the proper wiring harness be purchased with it (one made for the amp and a Harley) would have resolved that. And any type of simple (short) instructions would have taken some guess work out of this. I was doing this install on a Saturday, so getting support wasn't an option. When I did hear from him on Sunday, his crappy attitude towards the whole thing tells me everything I need to know about him and his company. I'll never recommend or buy from this company, and I'd strongly recommend nobody else does either. Find another vendor (like Crutchfield or the like), and save yourself a bunch of grief.

Most people think mechanics is turning a wrench for a buck, and having the cheapest guy to turn the wrench is the way to go. You couldn't be more wrong. The power of a great diagnostic tech will not only speed up the repair process, but also save you time and money while getting you on the road faster and safer. I have turned wrenches for years and consider myself to be a knowledgeable shade tree mechanic. But in the few instances I've run into issues, I've called Smitty. You simply can't put a price on "know-how", and this shops got it in abundance. Save yourself time, money, aggravation, and guess work and go see Smitty.
