He came out and did a thorough diagnostic and determined the fuel pump was bad (I had just filled up my 50 gallon tank). He drained fuel and removed the tank and replaced the fuel pump and tested it. His fee was more than reasonable, probably less than any shop in town (if I could have found anyone who would take it). I highly recommend Horn's mobile repair. Also, I called Wards Towing, who was also fantastic and very reasonable!

Paid my deposit and never heard from him again. After repeated messages to him, 3 days later he claims to have gotten the starter, but that it was used and he would need to reorder. Proceeds to reorder and then goes silent again. Only after I threatened legal action did I get a response, almost a week after I paid my deposit. After replacing the starter and doing the oil change the car stops working within a day. Towed it to a reputable mechanic who says that Ryan short changed the car 2 quarts of oil, causing irreparable crankshaft and cylinder misfires. Basically, the engine blew because there wasn't oil.

What happens when it's something a little more serious? Well, Darrel and Steven (his son) take care of the issue in a timely manner. Yes, they seem to always have an abundance of cars lined up to service, but that is an indication that they know their autos, and people trust in his auto mechanics expertise. I had an AC issue a couple of years back and surely needed it this summer. Steven put in a new switch and it has worked beautifully during this stretch of 100+ degree days.
