What an interesting name to call a movie theater, bowling alley, and arcade. We came here to see Wicked at a cheaper rate. Service was fast and was able to get good seats for the movie. I like how spacious this place is. They have lots of parking and it's clean too. I like how it's near my house so I can go the movies anytime I want.

Came strictly for the mini golf. $5 a person for 9 holes of mini golf. Took about 20-30 mins to go through but we also weren't playing by the book since we had a 4 year old with us. Cute little course and not over crowded in the mini golf area even with it being a Saturday. The arcade and bowling portion were however extremely packed so definitely thankful we skipped that this time.

Purchased tickets ahead for a new movie that was coming out. Cleaned out my purse of receipts forgetting the tickets were in there. I recovered a couple. They were able to reprint them. Another amazing thing, the day of the movie we sat with my mom in the handicap section since my mom doesn't do stairs well. Especially when dark. For some reason we were split up when reserving and we weren't away. A kind lady with a broken leg offered to scoot over one so our group could all sit together. As she was doing so. She spilled all her popcorn. I felt so bad. I went to get her a new one. I shared what had happened and they kindly gave me a bag for her even though I had my card to pay. They are always awesome here. Keep an eye out for free large popcorn coupons in your value pack mailer. Good when you purchase 2 tickets. We are allergic, so we bring them and give them away. They cook the popcorn in coconut oil. Healthy oil unless your allergic. They don't need to improve the mixed drinks at the bar. If they could do that, this place would be even more awesome. They have a huge selection of beer. Even local!

Went to fat cats for the first time. The place was well kept had great customer service. I was very surprised to see a full bar available and pretty tasty pizza. Good prices for food and drinks. Online specials available if you reserve an advance. Highly recommend for a small group or large group. We had a blast.

Absolutely loved coming to fat cats! From the pricing and all the options of food and things to do it's the best place for family outings! They have a whole grill for different foods to order plus your normal theater snacks as well. They have bowling, arcade, and theaters. The seating in the theaters was so comfy and roomy! The kids loved them. The family bathroom also has items for free if needed for your child and women. Definitely will be going back! Thank you!

Lots of fun for all ages, come in for a Monday Deal and there's a $60 family deal with pizza, unlimited soda and 2 hours bowling. A few game credits. Great spot and I will definitely be back to impress the rest of the family.

Conveniently located right off Grand Ave (US 60) in a little strip mall right in the heart of Surprise. Tons of ample parking for you and some of your closest friends! We were greeted immediately when we walked in. Contrary to what a few of the other reviews have said, you do ** NOT ** need to bring quarters with you. Obviously, you can. But it's not necessary. The nice gentleman running the place today gladly took our $20 bill and give us a few $5 bills back. From there, you can go to their change machine in the back, chuck in your $1 bills or $5 bills and it'll spit out quarters at you. Once you've got your pockets full of quarters, head over to one of the many machines and be prepared to be entertained! It's $1 per game. I know, but this ain't 1984 anymore so a dollar per game checks out. We blew through our $20 in a hair over an hour. It is incredibly clean inside! The machines functioned with no issues at all and I can't stress enough about how clean the machines (and everything) was here at Player 1! If you want to partake in some soda or alcohol, they can serve you up some refreshments while you've got your hands full with a pinball machine. Super fun way to spend a hot summertime afternoon here in Arizona. We will DEFINITELY be back. Such a cool place. Can't recall the last time I saw this many pinball machines lined up in a row. I think I was listening to Van Halen on cassette on my boom box. Highly recommended, friends! Go check them out!

Unfortunately, this place has changed & not for the better (I am sorry to say)…read more We had several issues. When we walked in, we purchased the bowling (amongst other things). The kids wanted to do that first so we walked straight to the bowling (right behind & in close proximity to the front desk). We had been told by the front desk gal we purchased from that the attendant manning the bowling area would get us set up, give us our balls, etc. We walked a few steps over there and it was obvious that employee could not help us as it appeared a lady had been hit in the face with a bowling ball or some other similar medical emergency. Understandably, the employee could not get us set up so we returned to the front desk to ask if that worker we had purchased bowling from could just hand us our balls. We figured since there were 4 lanes, maybe we could play in the one on the far left since incident occurred on the lane to the far right. We were told that we could not bowl (by another employee) due to the incident. We were told we would need to wait to play. I get it, but I wish we had been offered the option of a refund. No such offer. We decided then to go into the playground area, Ballocity, whilst waiting for this incident to clear. We were quite surprised to find that there were multiple buckets collecting water from a ceiling leak INSIDE THE PLAYGROUND AREA! This was completely unsanitary and poses multiple safety hazards (including, but not limited to, slipping and falling, kids playing in the disgusting water, etc.). To make matters worse, my youngest child advised me that there was tons of water on the ground up above in the top level of the play structure!!! Talk about unsafe. I climbed up there myself to validate what he had told me and sure enough it was correct. This entire play structure should be closed until this leaking water situation is corrected. Additionally, many of the games were out of order and not operational. The Sonic Basketball game would still take credits off of cards, but unfortunately, we soon realized that there are not even any balls in the game with which to play. Totally unfortunate. We did not even use all the credits we bought. We got out of there. I hope they are not going to go out of business soon. I am very concerned, from a business standpoint, that they may not be bringing in enough money to maintain their facility. PLEASE LOOK AT MY PHOTOS BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE.

What's more, the shop has a really cozy, community-driven vibe. There are always gamers hanging out, sharing tips and stories, and just having a great time. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!" Side note we just had the opportunity to play we got there an hour before closing time so next time we will be checking out the restaurant!

There are billiards, and a bowling alley, Japanese karaoke, and spo-cha, an indoor sports area. There is a snack bar and a cocktail bar. It's definitely loud and flashy, with flashing lights everywhere. It felt like a gamble-free casino. We did an hour of bowling before having lunch. We were there at opening, so there was only one other lane being used. We are not regular bowlers, but we had a great time. For 1 hour of bowling and two shoe rentals it cost $42 ish dollars. We grab lunch about 11:30. We weren't able to get cocktails as the bar doesn't open until noon. We ordered a teriyaki burger, tater tots, gyoza, and a pepperoni pizza. The gyoza was really good, but the rest was your standard bowling alley/arcade fast food. We bought two $25 play cards. Different games and machines costs a certain amount of credits. We ran through those cards pretty quickly and refilled once. Some of those new Japanese video games are really fun! Cons: the cost adds up very quickly at this place. Be prepared to drop some money. Also our food experience wasn't great. I asked for a water cup and was told they're not allowed to give out water cups because there's a water fountain near the entrance. Water fountains gross me out. It wasn't like we hadn't spent almost $50 on food and my son did buy a soda. I really don't think it's too much to ask for a cup for water to drink while you eat. Also they called our number and we went to pick up the food they realized they never prepared the burger we ordered. So we got all of our food except the burger and had to wait for that. At the last minute they let us know that they were out of lettuce which was supposed to be on the burger. Wasn't a big deal but it would be nice to have what we ordered. Pros: this place is really fun. Although you will drop a dime or two, the payoff is big. It looked like almost everybody had gotten something from the claw machines. I only tried it once and didn't get anything, but we left with two large plushies, a medium plushie, a small plushie, and a sanrio lanyard. We also got enough tickets to get my son a Pop Killer brand t-shirt. We've ordered from PopKiller before, and those T-shirts are $32 each. So in the end, It kind of balanced itself out.

Round1 Arcade: A Shameful Bait and Switch…read more We came to Round1 expecting fun, fair games, and a good time with family. What we got instead was a masterclass in how to ruin a loyal customer's experience through petty power trips and shady tactics. First night in? Fantastic. I dropped $120, armed with my season pass card, and my sixteen-year-old son -- a dedicated baseball player -- found a game called Down the Clown. He figured out how to win it every time, putting his focus and skills to good use. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They stood by, ready to swipe their employee cards if the machines needed resetting. They were friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to see people enjoying themselves. Fast forward to tonight -- another $120 spent -- and suddenly my son was treated like a criminal for being good at the game. A high-and-mighty supervisor parked himself next to him, clearly bothered that a teenager was winning fair and square. While my son was playing one of two side-by-side machines, the supervisor sneakily tossed balls back in for the other one, messing with the timer we'd let run out. When the machine needed an employee swipe to award tickets (standard procedure the night before), he flat-out refused, saying he wouldn't swipe until it "showed the total number of tickets owed," which can take 10-20 minutes. He seriously expected my kid to just stand there doing nothing -- while the night before, staff checked in every five minutes to keep things moving. It gets worse. When we left to find someone else to help, we came back to discover 75% of the balls had mysteriously vanished. Another manager up front admitted she saw the supervisor himself carrying an armful of balls into the office! And then, insult to injury, they spun some nonsense story about how Down the Clown is "only supposed to have seven balls," as if we hadn't played the exact same machines the night before with no issue. Here's the truth: Round1 is apparently fine with taking your money as long as you don't win too much -- especially if you're a kid who's actually good at the games. Once you do, they'll treat you like you're cheating, waste your time, and pull cheap tricks to shut you down -- instead of just being upfront about any limits or rules (if they even exist). Save your money. Spend it at an arcade that knows how to treat paying customers -- and kids -- with respect. Round1 clearly doesn't.

My son was second in line driving up the ramp when a ride operator shut off power mid-ramp for no legitimate reason. When power was cut, the kart lost braking capability -- the brakes are electrically operated -- and rolled backward down the ramp into a wall. This entire incident is on video. When confronted, the operator admitted he shut the power off because he "thought the kart was already at the top." It wasn't. This was not equipment failure. It was operator negligence. Yes, we signed the waiver -- because parents are required to. A waiver does not excuse cutting power to moving vehicles or operating an attraction where a child instantly loses the ability to stop if an employee makes a mistake. That's not assumed risk. That's reckless operation and a fundamentally unsafe setup. My son followed instructions and attempted to brake. The brakes did nothing once power was cut. Staff response afterward was unacceptable: an ice pack, paperwork, and managers who didn't witness the incident and couldn't explain what happened. No urgency. No accountability. Urban Air markets itself as family-friendly. There is nothing family-friendly about employees guessing with controls while children are on a ramp in go-karts. This was entirely preventable. Parents: do not assume this place is safe. Especially the go-karts.
