Homemade Onion Rings
Yesah B.

Burger is cooked perfectly and onion rings are crispy. Server took my order, cooked my food and brought me two tubs of ranch (when i asked) and asked me if I needed anything else. Can't go wrong with good service. It's a delicious meal but also a rather expensive one. For $22 for a 1/2 lb burger, onion rings, and a soda, it feels rather steep for the amount of food you get compared to Chili's... regardless, they serve good burgers!

First time here. I've driven by countless times. Plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. It wasn't super busy. I tried the Impossible burger. It was ok. I like the lettuce & everything in the burger but it wasn't anything I'd want again. Everyone in my party said the same. That the burgers were just ok. Probably won't be back. Fries were just ok as well. I wouldn't order it again. Ordered the following: Fatburger Meal w/ Western Bacon BBQ Burger Skinny Fries XXL Fatburger w/ Grilled Onions Impossible Burger At

Ok. When the hubs found out that a Fat Burger opened up in Elk Grove, he was set on driving the extra miles to try it out. Having grew up in LA, he is no stranger to the legendary Fat Burger. The first Fat Burger hamburger stand started in 1947 in LA. Did the Elk Grove location live up to the Fat Burger iconic burgers, chili fries, and onion rings?!? Yes, they did! We ordered two original burgers (one with cheese) with all the regular fixings, chili fries, onion rings, and fountain drinks. The burgers were 1/3 pound patties, the patties were seasoned well. Great flavors, juicy patty. But they could be more generous with the fixings. A bit more lettuce wouldn't hurt. The onion rings had a crisp batter. Yum. The chili was tasty, good flavor. Thick consistency. It's beanless. Everything was served hot. For fountain drink choices, they offer 3 iced tea flavors made with cane sugar. That scored big points with me since I can't have HFCS. They are located in a strip mall. It's counter service. The place like most eateries now have a smaller dining rooms than prior builds. May not be ideal for large group dining. The aisle leading to the restrooms and where they keep the foundation drinks and condiments is narrow. Only one person at a time can pass. And regarding pricing, it's comparable to fast food ( FF), but it ain't fast food. They actually take the time to cook the food when ordered. So don't expect FF speed. Don't get me wrong, they aren't sloooow but not drive thru fast.

Original burger and sweet potato fries

First time coming here, inside was pretty empty on a weekday evening. They had a nice seating area though and everything seemed pretty clean. We got burgers as takeout and they were made pretty quickly. Got home though (live 5 min away) and the burger-while it had a good amount of meat-was pretty dry/slightly overcooked. Regretted not getting more condiments to go. The sweet potato fries were pretty basic, lightly seasoned and slightly soft-not really crispy. Prices were average, around $9+ for a burger, $4-5 for fries. It's convenient having a burger place nearby, but I'd probably skip this one next time unless I was desperate for a burger craving.

Me and my wife went to fatburger for dinner. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by staff. The staff were friendly and polite. My wife ordered the turkey burger with fat fries and a soda. She loved her burger and said the burger was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The taste of the burger was phenomenal. I ordered original burger with onion rings and soda. The burger was seasoned well, cooked to perfection and the taste was great. The onion rings were delicious and very filling. The onion rings were cooked to perfection and in my eyes were like a great drive inn onion rings. We ended the meal with chocolate chip cookie and those were simply delicious . The ambiance is customer friendly and very lively. A great place to get a good burger.

Service was incredible read prior reviews that the food was cold. My burgers also came out cold. Cheese completely unmelted and cold, Fries were good, Shakes were Amazing. Burgers were I would say on a Carls Jr level with extra toppings.

This place is awesome! It's clean, you're greeted warmly and energetically. Donald provided some killer customer service! That alone would've brought me back because you can tell he legitimately enjoys his job. The food is awesome! The burgers were juicy and we'll seasoned. The chili cheese fries were steaming hot and delicious! The milkshakes are thick and flavorful, and the wings were plump and tender. I will definitely be back! It was so good!

First time here. Decided to stop and grab a bite to eat while heading to Nevada. We had our dogs with us so I ran in and placed my order, told the clerk that my husband was going to come in and order his next because we had our dogs with us, gave him our names so that he can also give my husband my order. He was totally understanding and accommodating. Once we got our food, we ate in the car and OMG! 5 star taste! The burgers were juicy and seasoned to perfection. The fries, we got both skinny and steak as well as onion rings and everything was hot and fresh. Cooked to order. Very satisfied travelers!

food was on point but, they need ceiling fans or blowers or floor fans. it was almost the same temperature inside as it was outside. customer service was stellar. But sweating and eating was uncomfortable We had to take the rest of our food to go.

Came here with some friends for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The guy who took our order was super friendly and funny and gave us the rundown of their burgers. I was surprised they have dairy free options! Both in the form of daiya brand cheese, and vegan milkshakes. The only downside was the regular milkshake was $5.99 while the dairy free milkshake was $10.99!!! FFS. Us dairy free/lactose intolerant people already can't enjoy dairy, but to up-charge so much for a vegan milkshake, sucks. Food came promptly and was flavorful. The patties were a bit greasy but it's expected with a 1/3lb - 1lb patty. The fat fries were absolutely amazing and full of soft potato insides. The onion rings were crispy but too oily for my liking. Our friends got strawberry milkshakes and said they were so good. Made me wish the vegan one wasn't nearly double the price so I could enjoy one too. The restaurant was roomy with ample seating and had 2 tvs playing sports. Regardless, I would come back when I'm craving a thick burger.

Ate it so fast I didn't get a picture. Delicious!

PROS: Service was friendly, we told them we were excited to try this place for the first time and they explained how everything was put together. The establishment is clean and has a seating area for dine in. The meats were juicy and tender, not dry like I've had at other places. The rice was seasoned well. The salad added a great way to cut through the meats and rice. Everything was delicious and we will definitely return with some changes in HOW we order. (Less sauce and crispier fries). Advice we received from one of the men working there... the bowls will get you stuffed and the gyros will be perfect. He was so right, however, I did order a lot. Mixed platter & chicken platter: 9/10 needs less sauce (but this is my opinion) in the future I'll order sauce on the side. Loaded fries: 6/10 everything was good, the fries just were supposed to be the main attraction and they weren't. I will order this again though, and ask for the fries to be double fried extra crispy Mixed Gyro: 9/10 everything was perfect.

The people here have honestly been some of the nicest people I've met. When I say this "Sandwich Spot" is the best, well I've been to a few in town and they all kind of miss the mark, but this one doesn't. The bomb sauce is a must and they don't skimp at this location. My two favorite sandwiches are "The Pride" and "The JFK" with bomb sauce on Dutch Crunch. The inside is meaty, saucy and has the right amount of greens. It's been my go to since 2018/2019 for sandwiches if I can catch them when they are opened. Prices haven't really inflated which is nice to see and the inside although small is cozy. Traffic in old town gets pretty bad so the best way to get here is usually from Elk Grove Florin Road the making a left onto Elk Grove Blvd and it'll be on the right side. If you come in from the other direction you may be stuck in the median for a while. The only real downside is the hours during the weekday, so it's best to go during the weekend or if you live close by, visit during lunch during the weekday.

The coffee and food were at market prices; the sandwiches are larger than normal and easily shareable. Parking was easy thanks to the parking lot next door. I reached out via an online form, and they got back to me quickly. They let me know they would send a payment link, but after waiting for maybe a few weeks I decided to reach out again, and then got the link. I got confirmation that my order was going to be available for pickup at an early time in the morning the day before I actually needed it. Unfortunately my order wasn't placed outside at the pickup time I originally requested, but I also didn't see the email mentioning that they had realized they forgotten to put it out before I left to pickup, and that they wouldn't be able to have it available until later in the afternoon. Thankfully, I didn't need the loaves that same day, and actually needed it the next day. They apologized and rectified the situation by providing a complimentary loaf, which was so generous and nice of them, and also offered to do local drop off. It allowed us an opportunity to try another one of their products. For reference, we ordered the hazelnut chocolate sourdough loaf and the rosemary loaf. They gave us a jalapeno cheddar loaf, and this probably ended up being our favorite! They packaged their loaves in these cute woven bags which you can reuse for other things. The sourdough is a bit more mild in sour flavor, but it was still good. They do freeze very well! The hazelnut chocolate sourdough loaf had areas of large pieces/globs of chocolate--wished it was a bit more distributed throughout the loaf, but still very yummy. I think maybe this is where the sour flavor shouldn't be too prominent, in a sweet bread. Their rosemary loaf was a solid staple. Great with butter. The jalapeno cheddar was especially delicious toasted. Overall, this is a lovely local business and I would definitely purchase sourdough bread from them again!
