Came by for lunch. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. It was a bit dry the last time I ordered it so I asked for a side of au jus. I added Mayo, bbq sauce mustard & relish & it was a bit tastier. Staff were friendly but super slow because they're short staffed. Only 1 person at the register & 1 making everything. Sandwich wasn't as dried this time. This restaurant is located inside the Sky River Casino. My spouse ordered a pulled chicken sandwich and said that it was too dry, so she added extra mayo, mustard and BBQ sauce. Also, the pulled chicken had lots of small chicken bones, which made the experience unpleasant as she had to pick out the bones with every other bite.She wished she had picked another restaurant inside the casino. read more

Perfect prime rib sandwich - meat is well seasoned, shaved really thinly, the bread holds it all together and at the same time able soak in all the au jus sauce they give you to dip (I pour it on the sandwich little by little since you cannot dip it in such a small sauce cup!) I have had porchetta sandwich at the ferry building and I always crave it when I'm in the bay. I thought I was going to be able to have it this trip but they apparently took it off the menu at sky river casino. I tried the prime rib sandwich instead and it did not disappoint. Dry flavorless chicken. Roasted potatoes were green, which is a sign of the potatoes being mishandled and over exposed to fluorescent lighting/led. My overall experience is that Sky Rivers food court does a lot of variety of cuisine, but truly doesn't do anything well. If you want the real Roli Roti experience go to the Bay area where this style was created and sold at a farmers market. Otherwise you can recreate this style of dish in your own kitchen with your own oven. read more

I decided to try the prime rib sandwich because I don't think it's part of Roli Roti's regular truck menu. They gave a generous portion of beef. It was tender because much of it was kept medium rare. Flavor was as lacking a bit so the au jus gave it a needed boost of seasoning. The horseradish sauce was a bit mild, which is probably better for most people but I like it with a lot of kick. Clean place with nice staff and that's where it ends . I ordered the rotisserie chicken with potatoes and it was not good . The cook on the potatoes was good but lacked flavor as did the chicken . My friend told me the prime rib sandwich and the crispy porchetta sandwich are excellent. I am coming to try them with my daughter this evening. I decided to come tonight on Thursday to avoid the Wednesday rush. Maybe it is a mistake. The prime ribs in the sandwich are very, very overcooked. Dry and tasteless. My daughter can't finish it. The porchetta sandwich is better. But it's still pretty dry. I guess they are not busy tonight! The workers are friendly and polite. The dining area is spotless and comfortable. I enjoyed the seating areas even if I was not eating there. I may try them again or the other food stations on my next visit. Creamy horseradish and Au jus came on the side. Huge sandwich stacked with plenty of meat, looked very appetizing. The meat was cooked perfectly, nice and tender. Generous amount. Entire sandwich had no flavor and it tasted as if they forgot salt. The Au jus was bland and not hot enough as a dip, more like a cold dip. The bread needed maybe some slight toasting. So Sky River casino is open and "The Market" food court. Our goal is to try every restaurant at Sky River. The Market has a good variety of restaurants, waiting on one more to open and I think it will be complete. Tonight we had the Roli Roti. We ordered one of each item on the menu. The best item we had was the crispy porchetta sandwich. The onion marmalade made the sandwich. The chicken was very dry could be on the roaster too long or not brined well. It needed some sauce or marinade in the chicken drippings like the veggies. Potatoes and Brussel sprouts were flavorful from the pork and chicken drippings. We will try the chicken again maybe for lunch instead of dinner. read more

Second time we have tried this place and we loved our prime rib sandwich. Enough to share between two people had a very long wait this time. Not sure what the problem is. We tried this because Sam's is closed, and we wanted a real meat sandwich fresh cut. We did get that part. I heard about the bay area spot from tv, so I wanted to love this. The staff were nice and helpful. This is actually inside the casino though and not a truck. I didn't enjoy having to go through the smoke filled environment to get to the sandwich spot. Next, it's super expensive. Six sandwiches for more than $100 seemed a lot for me. If the prime rib was better, I may have understood that cost. Sandwiches should be moderately priced at best. It was an hour later after I ordered, but it was still very tasty. It's a pork roast sandwich or something like that. Very tasty, full of bursting flavors. Although I thought the bread was way too dense, not sure what kind of bread it was, but I think it could've been so much better on a ciabbta roll instead. We've ordered this particular sandwich three times and every time, it's perfect: homemade roll, rare, tender meat and delicious dips.
