I munched on my friend's waffle fries mid December last year after leaving our holiday party bar hop.. so delish that I HAD to get some myself when they were in front of Roosterfish again this past Thursday! I wish I took a pic both times when I had the chance but I was just too stoked on the deliciousness. I was able to order and pickup my food within 5 minutes as my Lyft was arriving, so perfect timing. I did in fact take a pic of their truck so I wouldn't forget the name this time! Haha. I'm sure the other food is bomb too, but seriously, don't miss out on those waffle fries!

INSANE PORTIONS! I saw the $20 price for the loaded fries, and I thought it was fine, considering its a small buisness, but it was wayyyy more food than expected. BEST PART: no skimping on the meat, there is A TON of pulled pork, unlike many other bbqs ive been too. its a food truck in a neighborhood tbh pretty annoying to get parking and what not, but that is not an issue really. NOTE TO OWNER: Incredible food bro, keep up the great work brotha. I will recommend adding the option for a small size, that is more accessible to more people. Had a great experience at Fatboys BBQ. You can tell it's a family run business that takes pride in what they do. The brisket sandwich was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I don't know what constitutes as barbecue for fat boys barbecue. I lived in Oklahoma and Texas for 15 years I know barbecue is smoked but this pulled pork was oven cooked in sugar water and just sweet no flavor at all. I ordered pulled pork and it came drizzled in sugar water and the mac & cheese had so much garlic it was just overloaded with garlic. No stars ! But since I have to give a star I will out of obligation. The location is someone's home which is fine, although the phone goes straight to voicemail. Idk how they have 5 stars and yet they are open till 2 am. It seems as though they are deleting all bad reviews. You guys should reevaluate your yelp page as well as instagram and facebook. If your looking for good fresh BBQ you have to try fatboys BBQ!!! I was craving some BBQ ribs near me since I live in South Gate there's not too many BBQ spots around me, so I decided to go on yelp and look something up and I came across fatboys BBQ and omg I was not disappointed. Once I got there I saw they had a variety of items not only BBQ ribs and I decided to order a little of everything since everything looked so good. In my experience I had the rib sandwich, loaded fries, rib plate and pork belly bites,everything was delicious and the meats were so tender and flavorful. I will definitely be going back since they have other items I'm interested on trying out. As far as customer service the employees were very friendly and greeted me with a smile since I mention it was my first time trying their food they gave me a free pink lemonade, and let me tell you very good lemonade!!!! it's a must try specially in this hot weather. The brisket sandwich with the crispy onions is so addicting you just can't wait to go back again. Their pork belly bites have a wonderful combination of sweet and smokey flavor! We are a Food Truck In L.A. and there are a few things you’ll easily find out in any neighborhood: Hotdogs, Burgers, and Tacos. The supply of these types of food are simply never ending. My Business “Fat Boys BBQ” started because I wanted to do something different. Besides making everything we sell, with the exception of the bread, I try to be as hands on as possible throughout the entire experience which is why my team consists of only close friends and family. A few of our customers favorites start with our Pull Pork Sandwiches, made with hand buttered tender bread and Pull Pork that is smoked for 23hours. Additionally, it has hand slice and seasoned onion rings and coleslaw with our signature and personally homemade BBQ sauce. Our brisket, similar to our Pull Pork, is smoked for 23hours. Lastly, our Loaded Waffle Fries contain cheese sauce, chives, Pull Pork, and our BBQ sauce. Overall, all this Smoked BBQ will have you coming back for more.

Didn't even come around to see if we needed anything or if everything was good or not. We came here around 1:30pm on 3/16. The restroom was also out of paper towels and soap from the soda dispenser. Poor quality food! Glad I tried it, so I know to not come back again!

Beef chunks were melt in your mouth and the sauce was a good middle between savory and vinegary - balanced out by sweetness from the coconut. * Smoked gouda mac: Would not order again. The big shell macaroni noodles were soggy; the cheese sauce was mild in flavor, clumpy and not satisfying melty; lastly, the panko crust was just there and didn't add anything imo. * Cornbread bibingka: The other better dish of the night - very moist, muffin like crumb, and not too sweet or heavy. The people are lovely and gave us so much food and the brisket tasted like how my mother makes it to die for. The ribs were really good really filling too of your super hungry get the ribs !!!! And the burnt ends phenomenal!!!! That smoky sweet flavor was everything I like in a burnt end. Always . I've been to many burger spots around the area & nothing compares to these & the burgers . They definitely have a signature taste and are fried to perfection (at least for my taste). Alsoooo they have an AMAZING turkey burger ! I've tried one somewhere else and it doesn't beat this one ! I can try other ones & let you guys know my findings . Alsooo they serve breakfast here . I love their breakfast burritos & the Pancakes can't miss (although I'll have to say Tom's Jr has my favorite pancakes ) . Their drinks are always good and they have a huge menu. The only downside side would probably be the surrounding area sometimes.. I do live around here and I've walked to this location both during the day & night . I prefer taking the small streets to get here rather than the main streets ( less people and safer). Overall the atmosphere inside the location is nice, friendly & they do have a drive-thru !

Calling All people in LA COUNTY! If you're looking for bbq…read morethat hits ‍ Get at slow smoked bbq! I had the 3 meat 3 sides platter, and chose the; -brisket -ribs -links -Mac and cheese -brisket beans -potato salad If I can rate this out of 10, it'd be up there in the high 9.5+'s The meat is tender, they are family based, but the service was quick and professional!

Place is someone's house so they must only work when they feel like it b/c they weren't even opened…read moreduring the listed hours of operation.
