We have not been to Bangin Buns since the pandemic. We would go in and order and take our food home. Back then there were no tables to dine in at yet. As it was a new business. You walk in and music is bumping you cannot walk in and avoid not grooving to the sounds playing in the background. Today they had 6 tables and we decided to dine in to take in the whole atmosphere of the music playing in. Background. The menu has allot more options as it did on our last visit. When you order buyer beware food is scrumptious and portions are huge. Food comes served in a container packed! I myself ordered the "Mac n fries plate" at $16.99. What they don't tell ya is that you don't know where to begin eating. It smells good and was so ever scrumptious. The chicken was diced up in bite sizes, the fries were well seasoned and came with a side of Bangin Buns sauce. Mac n cheese was cheesy and my choice of spice for my chicken was mild. We also ordered the "Smash burger and Sandwich" @ $19.49 no pictures available as my hubby didn't want to waste anytime to taste his food. He gave two thumbs up once he finished his chicken sandwich. The Smash burger was on point along with the very well seasoned fries. They served desserts but we opted out on any at this time. Next time id love to try there banana pudding. I didn't get it too spicy cause I wanted to enjoy my chicken and I got medium, and there was not much heat. There are different options of what heat you want Add to it. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Located in a somewhat seedy appearing, dilapidated plaza, this place was actually refreshing to find. Inside is clean and spacious. Ordered the hot chicken Caesar salad burrito and this was a five out of five. Chicken was good, burrito was moist and flavorful and was a large portion. However I'm giving this place a 4 star instead of 5 because of the price. Burrito alone was $18!! Also got the tender plate that comes with three chicken tenders, a piece of toast and fries. Food was delicious and it comes with a bunch of extra packets of sauce which I always love because I'm a condiment whore. This was $17! 4/5 for taste though Also got a banana pudding for dessert. Cost six dollars and didn't really taste like banana unfortunately. Give this a two out of five. Front cashier was George who helped us and he was friendly and helpful so that is always appreciated. I drove 2 hours to try this establishment and wish I had stayed home. To begin with the customer service was completely disastrous they are understaffed leading to long wait times, cold food and a lack of amusement. Now the meal itself was even worse than the customer service the fries were completely underwhelming lacked flavor and were terrible quality comparable to cheap store bought fries.The sliders are even worse than the fries not only is the chicken dry but completely flavorless, the bread is nothing special but not nearly as bad as the rest of the meal. I also strongly recommend skipping on the coleslaw as it dose not combine well with the rest of the lackluster meal, the sauce is neither bad nor good as it just taste like ketchup.
