Just finding this gem after five years in Lynchburg…read more As others have pointed out, this restaurant is tucked away in the corner of an even more out-of-the-way quiet shopping strip, so you can easily drive by and never see it. True Sicilian owned and run trattoria where there is a wide ranging menu of American and Italian specialties. We stuck with the Italian and some apps for the little ones. Apps come out quick and are decently sized which is great when you have two kids. The mac & cheese was homemade and not the boxed stuff - and my youngest tore into it and was literally wearing it all over his face - he loved it. We also had bruschetta, which was house made and excellent except it was served on sicilian pizza dough - would loved to have had real italian bread for that. Italian meals were shrimp parm and my wife had the seafood special (sort of a marechiara) and both were excellent. Sauce is good, maybe a tad too sweet for me, but good nonetheless. We had a lot of food and even with that we finished with spumoni ice cream - which I haven't had in years. Serving was huge and we all shared it. Service was adequate - the waiter had no clue what things are in Italian and needs to work on that, but otherwise all good. We walked out fat and happy. Definitely going back. Large parking lot in front.

So an $11.00 8" sub turns into a $14.00 8" sub alone. No doubt he is making a lot of money by doing this, unless there are regular customers who have become aware that he charges extra, and avoid adding these cheap toppings, that should automatically come with the sub. I've never been anywhere before where they charged a $1.00 for Iceberg Lettuce. The place also smells disgusting, with cheap vile chemical cleaners flowing up your nostrils as soon as you enter. No way could I ever eat there. I've read a few other reviews where customers have noticed that this same older man (owner) has overcharged customers before, by ringing up different prices versus the menu prices, with them vowing never to return, as it did not go unnoticed like he foolishly believes or most likely, does NOT care. The older man (owner) also charges a 3% fee for using a credit card, which is absolutely greedy as hell. I made sure I took cash when I purchased the sub, as I knew this ahead of time, while walking in one other previous time one year before, just to purchase a cannoli for my daughter. Never again will I eat here. BE WARNED!

The sauce was tasty, the filling was delicious. Pasta was tender. The dish was three lasagna rolls, covered in sauce and cheese. She loved it but she said it was too much sauce but very tasty. I had the Chicken pesto pasta. The pesto was very tasty. Chicken was overcooked. Pasta was slightly overcooked. Overall it was a very tasty dish. My primary complaint is the portion size. I ordered large but my bowl was only about half full. There wasn't alot of chicken in my dish. My daughter inlaw had the smash burger. She loved it but the patties needed seasoning. The smash burger was assembled nicely and overall very tasty. Fries were nice and crunchy. Overall a good meal and pleasant dining experience.

You will order at your table with a server and they bring the food to your table but you will pay at a counter in the back. All of your condiments and utensils are on the table in caddies. Our server took our order efficiently and brought us waters but I had to take a water back bc it had some unknown object in it. We ordered bun (vermicelli noodle bowls), brisket pho, fried rice (chicken and beef), spring rolls and chili chicken wings. All of the food was well cooked and flavorful but came out piece meal with some food coming out well ahead of others. My pho was very flavorful and the broth was very pleasant and smooth. The parking lot was busy due to three restaurants in the same area but there was plenty of parking, despite some persons parking in completely ridiculous locations (like the fire lane). Upon entering, the hostess seated us at a large wooden table large enough for all of us. Our service was a team effort but all staff members were attentive and pleasant. Drinks remained full and due to the time it took to get our food (slow for a Mexican place) we ate way too many chips and salsa bc they kept bringing them. The business was busy but there was still room for persons walking in. They have both table and booth seating with Hispanic music playing overhead at a pleasant level. Our group ordered a wide array of food from quesadillas (shrimp and chicken), kids meals with soft tacos, nachos supreme, bowls, and tacos. I opted for the Patron taco special - 4 tacos with rice and beans (asada, Al pastor, carnitas and chicken). The portions were large and filling. A great meal for a group at a fair price.
