To go chicken pho with 1/2 serving of soup base because of way it was packaged

My daughter just brought home take out for two chicken pho. Got home and the soup was all at the bottom of the one bag. They had wrapped the cups of soup in paper towels and laid them in their side on top of the condiments. Soup had spoiled out of both liquid containers and was pooled in bottom of the singular take out bag. Why such lazy packaging for take out! One bag for liquid containers to stand UPRIGHT. Separate bag for dry condiments. We now have two trays of condiments with dry noodles and no soup base. If it had been properly packaged, the rating would be a 4 out of five. Good portion of meat, noodles and fresh veggies/thai basil and seasonings

I'd never had pho before coming here and I really enjoyed it! The staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. Dining in definitely tastes better than takeout. I've been back a few times and would recommend it.

The best Bahn mi and Thai milk tea! Service was amazing and portions are big! Restaurant ambiance is good and clean! Will be back soon!

Don't remember, had a friend order for me. It's noodles, a form of beef/steak?, pork, onions, and some other goodies.

As a connoisseur of American and Thai cuisine, Pho is not typically in my line of fire for dinner outings. But a friend recommended it and pulled me along. While I do enjoy Thai food, Pho hits at a different kind of flavor. Pho Viet is a nice little hole-in-the-wall with super nice staff, relaxing ambience, and good food. If you love spicy food as much as I do, you're in luck, there's a nice round container of chili oil right at your table to make your dish as hellishly hot as you'd like! Overall, I recommend it. The perfect day for Pho Viet is a rainy or cold day, as its dishes are comforting and warm!

It was my first time at Pho Viet and the food was amazing! I got the #33 pho and added siracaha and hoisin sauce to it and it was so delicious! It was my second time having pho ever and I can't wait to come back. I also loved the cute decor.

Pork Banh Mi

Stopped by just to try the Banh Mi sub and it did not disappoint. I love these subs and get them whenever I can, and this is one of my favorites. My picture only shows half of the sub...it was much larger than expected. I'll definitely come here again!

Went soup searching again. The vegetarian pho here is delicious! Flavorful broth, plenty of veggies and accompaniments, and perfectly fried tofu. Others said the shrimp fried rice with the spicy soy sauce and the chicken and broccoli were great too! My mom even got me to call in another order of shrimp fried rice for her later on in the week. The owner/manager was really nice and welcoming. I will definitely come back for my pho!

Craving authentic Vietnamese? It's Pho Time! Expect a warm environment with friendly staff who make…read moreyou feel right at home. While their pho is absolutely comforting with amazing noodles, another stand out is their banh mi. It's more like Banh Mi Time! The bread is crispy on the outside but packed with flavor on the inside. Each sandwich made with fresh herbs, pickled carrots, and flavorful protein options. Good portions. Whether you're stopping in for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner, It's Pho Time delivers. Loved their take out and would certainly consider them again in the future.

I'm not an expert on Vietnamese Cuisine but I heard of a casual Vietnamese restaurant with a simple…read moremenu featuring Vietnamese dishes like pho and spring rolls and decided to go give it a try. It's Pho Time is a local, family restaurant, located in a strip mall of Williamson Road in Roanoke, Virginia. I found out that in Vietnam, pho is enjoyed at any time of day and serves as a common ground for people from all walks of life. Thus, the reason for its name: "It's Pho Time." When I arrived to this small, but clean and very simple decorated restaurant I saw a sign: "PLEASE SEAT YOURSELF." As soon as I sat down, who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant and gave me a warm welcome with a big and friendly smile. He brought a form with him and explained how here one ordered by checking the items on the form, taking it to the counter and handing it in, and waiting at your table to be served when ready. Then he answered any questions that I had about the items on the menu, and asked what I wanted to drink. I asked him for a Mango Smoothie with Boba Pearls. To my surprise they had it on the menu and this drink had become a favorite of mine since the first time I had it in another Asian restaurant called Wok N Roll Kitchen located in Downtown Roanoke. Filling out the menu / order form, I ordered Two Pork Spring Rolls as appetizer and a Glazed Pork Dish as the main course. Once I handed the form to the owner, he called out the items and family members working in the kitchen took care of preparing it and bringing it to my table when ready. The Pork Spring Rolls were amazing. I enjoyed the texture of the thin wrap, the flavory pieces of pork they had inside, together with the fresh and crispy veggies. This was served on a plate with a peanut base sauce. My main course was also very appetizing. It was a bowl full of white rice and Glazed Pork with lettuce, cucumbers, pickled carrots, dalkon, the house sauce, and an over medium fried egg. During my time there many people came in and ordered takeouts and others who seemed like repeat customers stayed and enjoyed their meal there. At the end I threw the the plastic bowl in the trash and put the tray on a pile of trays there. Then I went to the counter to pay and say my goodbye, thanking the owners and his entire family for such a wonderful meal and dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for its amazing food and extraordinary service, and plan to give them a visit again when I feel that ... "It's Pho Time."

This Asian fusion restaurant in the Cave Spring area of Roanoke, is definitely one of my favorite restaurants of all times. And my first visit and review is something that I will always hold very dear. When you finish reading this review I invite you to go back and read that review and view my photographs accompanying that review, for it was a very unique dining experience that I will never forget. From the time you arrive at this restaurant the contemporary building design seems to beckon you to approach and enter. I love their unique logo design made up of letters and a number of a particular font that communicates a certain air of distinction. Once inside, you're like in another world altogether. If the outside of the building was impressive, the interior immediately captures your attention and mesmerizes you with it's beauty. When I arrived today, a very lovely and distinguished lady, dressed very elegantly, welcomed me and led me to the table of my choice. Later did I find out that she was the owner of the restaurant, and I had an opportunity of talking with her about the restaurant, its Sushi Bar, and Sushi chefs. Soon after, my friendly server, who was from Indonesia, came to introduce himself and take my order. To drink I had a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. It was served in a tall glass and tasted marvelous. As appetizer, I had the Dim Sum Platter. It contained 3 shrimp dŕhumai, 3 pork dumplings, 3 pork wasabi shumai, and 2 roasted pork buns. One of those items was extremely spicy, I had to drink water to cool down. The others tasted reasonably good. As my main entrée I had the Lobster Tail Tempura Maki. It was very colorful and tasted, and completely filled me up. My original server did an excellent job serving me the food and coming by to check on me. But then he disappeared and another server, also Indonesian came to bring me my main entrée. I think it might have been a shift change, but feel the first server should have let me know about this fact. But if the first server wad excellent, the second was amazing. He answered all the questions I had about items on the menu, and while delivering special dishes to other customers, he allowed me to photograph this food for the benefit of the readers of this review. Then, at the end, he helped me choose the dessert to have for the Grand Finale of my meal: the Banana Basket. It was amazingly delicious and had slices of bananas, kiwi, mangos, whipped cream, and strawberries. And topped with caramel and chocolate sauces. Considering its friendly and relaxing ambiance, its extensive menu with a wide range of Asian dishes, from traditional Chinese entries to a full sushi bar with raw and cooked options, and its amazing customer service, I definitely highly recommend this restaurant from my own experience. Every time I've dined there I've had an exceptional fine dining experience, and as I'm leaving I'm already looking forward to returning.

They were doing a heck of a carry out business, and know I know why. My husband had the wonton soup - he must of enjoyed them because I didn't get to try them, however that broth - oh my delicious- I finished that - easily. I had an order of the crab wontons - mostly cream cheese tasting - wish there was a bit more crab/shrimp, overall tasty. We shared our first hot pot - ribeye, carrots, peppers, stewed tomatoes served with your choice of rice - we chose the fried. Our shrimp tempura roll was yummy! Oh and we also each had a strawberry sangria although they do have other cocktails - I totally missed out on a screwdriver but the sangria was good too. Service was excellent- very nice people. Look forward to returning in the future!
