Tried this spot out with my boyfriend, food was okay, honestly nothing serious or special. Not sure if I'd try again because nothing was out of the ordinary. The single burger was very average, like Toxic average, ehh. The hamburger bun also reminded me of Toxic. The buffalo wings were fine, the fries were fairly crispy which I liked. The bronco sandwich, honestly very mediocre. Didn't taste great, boyfrend didn't even finish it. Didn't even look appetizing in my opinion. The service on the other hand was good, they got the order done very quickly, I ordered ahead online! It was a welcoming spot and the menu was clear for everyone to see. Very friendly environment, it's clear that it must be popular at night for college people.

After mouth watering over the menu for the last few months finally dove in and had to try a fat shack sandwich. Ordered the fat shack, of course on my first visit. It really was the most amazing/mediocre thing I have ever eaten. So much fried food, felt like I needed some green's immediately afterwards. Honey mustard seemed like a weak choice to pair and I may have to substitute this in the future. I will come back to try again. Possibly something less "fried" but that's what this place is going for!

Deep fried chocolate chip cookies - Four deep-fried chocolate chip cookies covered with powdered sugar are arranged in a basket lined with parchment paper. The basket is on a dark surface, and a checkered paper wrapping is partially visible in the background. The cookies appear crispy and are dusted evenly with powdered sugar, indicating they are freshly prepared.

Fat Shack was an ok place to go. Not terrible.. but I wouldn't necessarily come back. But the skid really liked the deep fried chocolate chip cookie as well as the cheeseburger with macaroni cheese on top. It was perfectly made. We also got the fried pickles, which surprisingly did not come with sauce. Also got the cheese fries which was pretty decent. The bill for 3 of us was a smidge over $50. And I think that was pretty average. That was three cheeseburgers, a soda, a small milkshake, fried pickles, cheese fries, an order of deep fried chocolate chip cookies and a fried Twinkie. Also as far as the deep fried Twinkie and chocolate chip cookies go, they like cover dem mothas with so much powdered sugar. You come out looking like you've just done a line or thirty-seven of cocaine. Beware.

I was served The Classic Burger by Akira and Marlea. Marlea has always been nice. When I bit into the burger I could taste a delicious and acute flavor of salt, pepper, and smokiness that made me excited. The rolling of the cheese of the patty and the melon like flavor of the tomato blended the flavors greatly. I like how the bun is toasted only until edges are singed like crinkly crystals.

"The Classic" and French Fries - A cheeseburger with two beef patties, lettuce, tomato, and pickles, served in a toasted bun with mayonnaise or sauce, partially wrapped in foil. French fries are served in a white takeout container behind the burger. The meal appears to be in a takeout setting, with a foam container and a towel underneath.

Ordered "the classic" with a side of French fries, some bbq chicken tenders, & another burger & fries. We were truly impressed with this being our first time ordering. We were craving burgers & this hit the spot. I was impressed with the amount of toppings on my burger, the classic. It had lots of pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, 2 burger Pattie's, and melty American cheese. I subbed mayo instead of burger sauce and it was dripping with each bite between the juices of the burger/ cheese/ mayo. The bun was soft and not soggy so that's a win! I liked the fries, but phew they're salty! Had to wipe off salt before I took a bite. The chicken tenders were such a hefty helping too. I was so full I had a couple bites of my burger and some fries left that I just couldn't finish cause it was so much! I think the price of these burgers are extremely reasonable. The size was great. Will definitely order again as we really enjoyed our meals. One of my favorite burgers to date in Eugene, and phew we've tried a lot of places!

NEVAEH AND JUSTICE AND NOAH AND MIKE AND TARA ARE ALL INCREDIBLE. They were so helpful, regardless of the fact that we came in minutes before close they were so courteous and kind. Nevaeh remembered me from a year ago and it's clear they both care so much about their customers and providing incredible customer service. I feel like usually customer service at these types of places is usually poor but they all went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I hope they are appreciated as much as we appreciate them

The brewery itself is also great as they have lots of inside seating options and a pretty big outdoor patio. The beer was great too, we found out about Hop Valley because we were in town for the Eugene Marathon and they're one of the sponsors. The only downfall was the food service, we ordered a simple salads and chicken strips with fries and it took about an hour to get our food. We came Sunday afternoon after the marathon and it wasn't too busy here. Outside had about 3 tables either partied of 5 plus people. You would t think starter/appetizer could take that long. While we were still waiting for our food we heard the table next to us ask the food runner what's taking so long & he just replied "the food doesn't come out in any particular order."

This is a large working brewery, which you can see from the outside. But it's also a large taproom and restaurant, perfect for small groups or large events. They had a bunch of outdoor seating and bike parking, but it was too cold that day on our visit. The interior really leans into their brand with everything in bright green. There's a bar with seating, tables, a merchandise shop, and lots of packaged beer to take to go. The staff were welcoming. They came to the table to take our orders, most of us got flights and burgers. The food was better than the beer to be honest, however, all the beers were good too. If you're a beer fan, this is one of those must-stop places.
