I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk, but what I received tasted nothing like it. It had a strange espresso-like flavor, i didn't ask for espresso at all?? And i was charged for it after looking at my receipt! And yet somehow this still managed to taste like nothing at the same time. Its watery and simply rushed! For nearly $13, that's unacceptable. If you're charging that much, the drink should at least be made correctly and have some actual flavor. It is poorly made, and it definitely wasn't worth the money. I wouldn't order this again, and I wouldn't recommend it based on this experience. read more

First time here. Nice selection of drinks. Fun colors. I ordered the crème brûlée milk tea with boba. It was deliciously sweet and creamy. I would order again. read more

The first Fat Bee Cafe location I tried was the Overland Park location. I was ecstatic when they opened in Lee's Summit. Not only was OP the first Fat Bee Cafe I tried, but it was also the first KC boba experience. I always try to stop in to get their brown sugar boba drink when I'm near. I also love this location because it's near several of my favorite stores, and it's easy to grab and go. Yet, there's enough seating so that you can chat with friends. The employees are fantastic and patient as well! A must-try! read more

My review is based solely on the Matcha Milk Tea. I am a matcha drinker, and this drink was a waste of $8. Their grade of matcha is not up to par at all. The drink was watery and the boba at the bottom (brown sugar) I ended up taken out the drink. Honestly, I won't be back. Positives: The cafe is trendy looking inside, and the people working made sure to greet everyone. read more

I tried this spot when I was craving something sweet. I had the crème brûlée boba and it was delicious, sweet but not sugar packed and refreshing. The store was clean, chic and the service was quick! It's definitely a must try if you're in the area shopping!! read more

fat ass old man made my drink wrong and then when asked to fix it, he gave me an attitude & didn't fix it. i tend to be a sweet person, but this is wildly unacceptable! however, the younger staff are sweet and generally get my drink right. i can't even take a sip without wanting to gag! read more

Finally, a decent Boba spot on this side of the Kansas City border! When I first found out that this empty corner location was going to be turned into a Boba shop, I was definitely pumped! Let me tell you, it definitely lives up to Boba standard and if you are having your Boba craving and DON'T want to drive to Johnson County or Downtown, this joint is definitely THE spot! The drinks I have had so far are all fantastic, not too sweet and definitely not bland. The consistency of the drinks and the nice chew of the Brown Sugar Boba will want you coming back for more! The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs and it definitely seems like it is a family owned. The décor and cleanliness of the place is also a plus! And while there's nothing much else to say, I'm glad that this spot is here! This place is definitely a rare gem on this side of town and I hope it will be here for a while! My ONLY complaint for this spot is the sometimes hard to find parking, however if you come at the right time, that can definitely be avoided! If you're a Boba virgin on this side town, I really recommend you come out to this spot and at least give it a try. It's better than driving to JOCO for just a Boba trip! read more

I visited with my sister midweek and we enjoyed bubble teas and croffles! The brown sugar boba latte was lovely - so creamy and sweet. The lava croffle was tasty and I really liked the sweet cream on top. Would definitely visit again! read more

This place is tricky to fine because it's in a corner next to Macy, anywho this place is busy, very busy so know what you want before getting to the cashier. I had 2 teas, one was more like a smoothie and the other was a fruit tea. My favorite Mango on fire, sooo good! I didn't care for the Hawaiian sunset, it looked super pretty but it was very biter and not sweet at all. read more

I ordered the Strawberry Sangria bubble tea with brown sugar boba and a Passion Fruit slush with brown sugar boba. This place is very good! The quality of the ingredients seem to really show through. You can actually taste the tea and the flavoring of your drink of choice isn't overpowering. The brown sugar boba is tasty as well! The venue is clean and has a modern look. It is clean and the service was fast and friendly. Perfect spot to grab a refreshing drink and relax. read more

Very cute space! Bright colors and plants everywhere. I took the kids that I nanny for here and they loved all the different options for cold and frozen drinks and then all the add ins. The favorite of the group was the strawberry slush with the strawberry poppins! read more

FOR THE MAIN ST LOCATION: (didn't have a yelp page yet) So clean, so friendly, amazing tea and this will be my new boba spot easily. Such a chill vibe and the drink options/flavors are different than other places around here, so I love the new stuff to try!! OMG everyone get your butts to this place and order the Créme Brulée Boba Latte asap. It's creamy and decadent but also light and refreshing. I want a barrell full of this concoction in my house. The pearls are brown sugar flavor and add an unexpected twist to the drink where you are chewing and then sipping and now chewing....freaking delicious! No picture included because I'm a pig and couldn't stop drinking it but it looks great too, trust me. I don't know if there's actually any coffee in it but I'm in love. Oh yeah, the place was also nice and hip, super clean and fast service, and people taking your order are nice and helpful. We've also tried the mango boba and it was good and all but the Créme Brulée is a dream. read more

Drinks are good, croffles are tasty (the oreo one is my fave), but service is often very slow. Still very thankful for a bubble tea spot in LS, finally! My go-to drinks are Strawberry Yakult Tea, Grapefruit Tea, Tropical Tea, or Ube Latte. I always get the iced teas at 50% sweetness with less ice. read more

The newest boba shop in Lee's Summit has DEFINITELY not disappointed. I went in hoping to snag a slice of matcha crepe cake, but they were out. Make sure you get there early for first dibs on the desserts! Instead, I ordered an Ube Taro Freeze with brown sugar boba... WOW. Combining ube and taro is everything you don't know you need. I know this drink will be a hit once the weather is warmer, so if you're nearby definitely give Fat Bee a try! read more

Website says the hours are until 8 pm. We arrived at 7:30. We could see 4 workers inside, but the door was locked and the closed sign up. Very disappointing for my soccer player who was looking forward to her end-of-season treat after her last game. read more

Tried this on a whim when the coffee shop I typically go to closed early. Really liked their menu variety!

The teas were ok but not the best. In one of our drinks, you couldn't taste anything but strong black tea. The cafe is very nice and airy. The service was fantastic. I would try it again and order something different. read more

I thought I had left a review on this new gem to come to Lee's Summit. I found it late last year and have purchased many of their boba milk teas and some other teas. The teas are well made, but I especially love the creme brulee boba tea. In the past they had made some really good waffles. The berry waffle was my favorite until today. Today, I not only purchased some tea, which was fine but the waffle was not what they had made before. Let me explain. Previous times I was paying $6 for a waffle that was larger than eight inches, with berries and the whip cream, all very good, until today. Today, fortunately before I headed home, I opened the box the waffle came in and this is because it was a relatively small box. The reason? It was a barely 3 inch waffle. Seriously! I returned to the store and discussed this with them, and of course I couldn't understand their explanation. It seems, as I tried to dissect what they explained, that they didn't have enough batter or mixture? Whatever the reason, they should have been upfront and honest about the situation instead of ripping me off. The waffles are good but not that good to pay for something the circumference size of a muffin! read more

I decided to get the standard offering of a brown sugar boba latte. It was delicious and while sweet it wasn't too sweet, as long as you give it a good mix before drinking! The boba were nice and warm yet the drink was iced! Very delightful. There was a large selection of offerings and they even had almond milk and oat milk if you don't like the dairy. The other teas looked quite delicious. We will be back! read more

Absolute waste of a store front. The store that was there before, way better. They had actual crème brulee, not some knockoff latte.

Absolutely delicious boba tea! Not too sweet, but not bitter. I love the brown sugar boba, and the popping mango boba is very good as well. Great service too. It didn't take very long to get our drinks, even though it's a Saturday and everyone is out and about. Parking was a little packed, and we had to park in the back, but overall a wonderful experience! read more

My friend and I love their crème brûlée late but went Sunday night to get it, drove across town, to find they close earlier than posted times Sunday. We got there at 8:20 and they were closed. Not cooool :((( read more

Highly recommend the mango on fire! So so so good. This place is nice. They have drinks & desserts.

Amazing place and amazing thanks to the employees they are so understaffed and people are such dicks to the situation if there is only 2 people working and they have a sh*t ton of drinks to make you need to understand that it's going to take a while. Appreciate them and tip because they are trying their hardest to provide you with what you walked in for in the first place. You need workers in order to get what you want so be appreciative. I love this place the drinks always come out perfect. read more

It was great I got a mango boba and it was so creamy and cold and the boba balls were squishy and yummy! I would recommend 100%
