    Roast beef hash

The cutest cafe. Our server was attentive and sweet. The drinks were great. Our table had the irish coffee, bloody mary(which were half off during brunch) and an aperol spritz. All delicious. The food....I don't know even know. Rough. The roast beef hash was more like a soup? With very wet and bruised yet crunchy diced potatoes? The egg on top almost seemed microwaved or cooked on some strange nonstick pan that made it a plastic like texture? After looking around at other tables the breakfast sandwich looked like really the only palatable choice. Everything else was just...wet? Go for drinks for sure though.

My salad was flavorful, never had anything like it. It didn't have enough greenery in it. Service was friendly and fast.

Sweet potato biscuit/ham slider and the banana bread. Yum.

Cute place. We had the sweet potato/ham sliders and the banana bread which were delicious. Service was attentive. I would come back and order both except I want to try additional menu items. +Recommend.

Loved the place... so comfortable ... great service! Wonderful Chicken Salad Sandwich Wife had house salad - loved it I had the Pear and Fig Salad - amazing We did not want anything else (until) we saw the dessert menu... the two we had were great and worth it! We were just driving down I-29 and ventured into downtown St Joe just based on the Google reviews - so glad we did. Sorry did not take any pictures except a quick one of the interior. Shows a bit of the ambiance.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere. The chair I sat in was not berry comfortable, but that is a petty complaint

The turkey bacon club: The bacon on the flaky, buttery croissant was smoky and wonderful. The turkey was plentiful. And the cheese was melty. The mayo, lettuce and toms work well on this sandwich. I will definitely have this sandwich again! The chicken Caesar salad: The lettuce was fresh and the Parmesan was plentiful. The Caesar dressing was perfect. The croutons really are homemade--and were my favorite part. I will definitely have this salad again. I've had their signature cranberry/nut salad, chicken salad sandwich and tuna salad sandwich before--all are pretty good but I don't crave them like I will the two items above. The latte was good. I love their coffee. The ambiance is beautiful. The tile in the main room and the different tile in the bathroom are both gorgeous. Good service too. This is a great little unique coffee shop to have a nice lunch!!

The cafe is reminiscent of small neighborhood coffee shops, mixed with Italia touches. Tables are scattered throughout, with a hidden nook for private conversations. Their menu is diversified, but still offers the standard cafe offerings. The chicken salad was sampled on this trip , and had an herby edge to it. The broccoli soup is slightly watery, but great flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and welcomed long conversations. A major plus? The space can be rented by the hour. They also allow outside food/drink. Unheard of , but greatly appreciated. We used it for them for an event today, and were so overwhelmed by the owners/staff. Very accommodating and easy to work with. Great space, and easily customized for your event. Thanks to the Pronto cafe staff- you made our day easier!

I've had to go in to work in the early mornings (4 or 5 am) and seen the cook through the window making the pies for the day. I have a place in my heart for the waitresses who served me for so many years, they ran their tails off taking care of their customers but for some reason they are no longer there. I hope they have been able to retire and enjoy life. Regardless, the current waitresses are great too and will take good care of you. It's a small basic building but the food makes it well worth the drive. We always get full on our meals but make sure to get a couple of their deserts to go. By the way, I have never once had anything I didn't like at Betty's. They even serve some of the old fashioned foods that older people enjoy such as brain sandwiches, liver and chicken gizzards.
