Fasty Fixy was very quick to respond and we set an appt for the next day which was nice since it was 3 days before Christmas. He even offered to pick up parts from Home Depot. He was very thorough with the installation and rather than the shortcut way, did the install with detail as I asked him to. One negative was that he didn't have all the tools needed to do the job. We had to cut out a piece of the cabinet to make the vent fit and luckily I had a oscillator saw he can use. He also needed a metal snip to trim the vent but ended up using our scissors which left very jagged edges (which are now covered by tape). To his credit, he did offer to come back the next day with tools needed but I wasn't available so we had to do with what was available at the appt which is why I didn't knock off a star. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company. I booked them over 10 days ago for a cleaning. Everything was scheduled, they had all of my information, and we're supposed to arrive at 11 AM. By 11:20 I texted the company, with no reply then I called the company and spoke to a very rude gentleman. I got cleaning services and I do not recommend this place for several reasons: - Pricing was unclear and misleading. When I ordered the service I was told the cost would be $90 for 2 hours and that was what I booked, but at the time Billy did not tell me this only includes 1 cleaner. On the day of, 2 cleaners showed up so I was charged for the service of 2 cleaners (double the cost) which came as a surprise. When I told Billy the pricing info he gave me was wrong (also was wrong on his website), he said the maid manager was supposed to just drop off the extra maid at my place, but since the extra maid showed up and cleaned, I should pay for the extra worker. I paid for the extra maid cause I am not a monster, but if he was going to send me two maids and charge me for 2 maid's services, he should have told me the price for 2, not 1. Also, what was I supposed to do with the extra maid who wasn't supposed to be there? Refuse her entry and let her get stranded on the street for a couple of hours? I felt I was forced with extra service and misled. (I see he has now updated the website with accurate pricing but at the time of booking it was inaccurate and I have photo proof). He did give me a slight discount for the miscommunication/false advertisement. If you want to book with Billy, I recommend triple checking to make sure you both align on the pricing and the service you'll get the day of. - Cleaning service wasn't great. Many areas were still left with dust. One maid spent an entire hour working on one bathroom which was surprisingly long. I am a tidy freak myself and I keep my apartment pretty clean at all times. I am not sure what took her so long. After an hour's cleaning, there was still dust and hair in visible places and the window was still dusty. They also worked on areas that I did not ask service for, adding in more working hours. With the extra maid and extra one hour I paid for, unfortunately, there are still a lot of things I ended up having to clean myself. I have used other maid services before at a similar/cheaper cost and this was by far the worst quality. - Cleaners do not come with basic equipment like a vacuum or floor mop, customer needs to supply that. This also was not communicated at booking. I was fine for them to use my equipment (what other choice do I have?), but I wonder what happens if another customer happens to not have a vacuum, what are the maids going to do? Their website needs to be more clear about what supplies cleaners will and will not bring, and ask the customer ahead of time if he/she owns those types of equipment.
