Then you sit and wait. The longest I've ever had to wait is 15 minutes or so, and that was without an appointment. The workers have always been super friendly and are really good at blood draws (all I've had done there), so I appreciate that! I love that it's right down the road from my house and super easy to get in and out. They also have your name on a board that shows your wait time so that's nice as well. I really don't like having blood drawn, but sometimes it's necessary and sometimes you do it because it's the right thing to do (like for a blood drive). So when you can go somewhere that can make it quick, easy, and pretty much painless, with minimal bruising, then yes that makes me a fan!

So I waited around 10 minutes and the hematologist called me in for that blood draw. Unfortunately she did not know how to draw blood because I got stuck 2 times with no blood drawn. She had to get a more experienced person and he was able to get it done on the first try. Thank goodness for him. Sadly I do not recommend coming here and I will definitely not be back here in the future.

When I was back in my car, I lifted up the pad and it was soaked in blood like you would expect if you cut your finger chopping vegetables with a sharp knife. I also had a purple bubble on the site on my vein which turned into a purple bruise. I took photos but will spare the gruesome details here. Other than that, there was a lady there who became ill from her test and it was obvious they were unprepared for that. They took her in to one of the rooms but for some reason they put the trash can out in the hall so those of us in the waiting room had a birds eye view to her throwing up in the can.
