I was called close to my scheduled time however I was told to go to another room because apparently a lady who I assume was a walk in had a problem with me going before her. She screamed out loud to the hematologist "I have been waiting!!" "Why is he going before me?" LOL I felt awkward about this and let it be. So I waited around 10 minutes and the hematologist called me in for that blood draw. Unfortunately she did not know how to draw blood because I got stuck 2 times with no blood drawn. She had to get a more experienced person and he was able to get it done on the first try. Thank goodness for him. Sadly I do not recommend coming here and I will definitely not be back here in the future.

Also felt my hematologist could've been a little more animated as opposed to being a zombie today on top of her apparently letting the less experienced person try to draw blood for me. However, there was one occasion here when they couldn't find a doctor's order, so I left and went back home only to find out that the dude looking things up really didn't know what he was doing. (They called me back and said "Our bad," without seeming to give a rat's furry behind about my time and travel.) More recently, the phlebotomist drew my blood and wished me a wonderful day. The next day, I was informed that my blood "coagulated" and that I would need to return for another draw. I call bull. Though I went back and let them draw again, which was also a painless experience, I let them know that blood doesn't just coagulate in a vile. Not mine at least. (It didn't "coagulate on the second draw.) The truth is, someone mislabeled or mishandled my lab specimens. Why not just admit the mistake? There are other Quest locations around here, and I have and will continue to avoid this one.

The building was clean and didn't take long to get signed in. They don't have change, which was one inconvenience but luckily there was a Kroger across the street I got change from! The nurse practitioner, Sherry, was very sweet and informative! She really seemed to know about ear infections and cared about my pains! She prescribed me medicine for pickup at my local pharmacy and she encouraged over the counter medicines I could also take! I appreciate the attentiveness she had. I will be back and I highly recommend this family clinic to anyone! They even had waters, juices and chips laid out for their patients. It was only $50 to be seen if you don't have insurance! Good deal!
