I'm not sure why this has a low rating. This is the best hospital I've ever been to and League City. There's never a wait. Everyone is extremely friendly. They take very good care of you and if you have to get admitted, they'll call EMS to pick you up to transport. I've used this hospital for a few emergencies. I've never been disappointed. Went to the Urgent care in League City on 45 in November 2025. The staff and the care are above wonderful. The billing office.........not so much. I get it I've worked in Healthcare for 20+ years people take for ever to pay bills. I need to preface I had insurance and a $1100.00 balance due. I was paying $300.00 a month and that was not good enough. Calls, letters, all but a plane with a sign at the end please pay your bill. I paid it off in April. My visit was in November. I don't think that is too long, also to note I was in between jobs and STILL made what payment I could they were upset I would not 'commit' to a $50.00 a month payment plan, mind you I paid, faithfully every month a lot more than 50.00. I have a -0- balance due according to My Chart. I call the collection agency they say call Memorial Hermann. Memorial Herman could not tell me what agency it was with????????? Could not tell me if I would effect my credit only that I had to call the agency back.........So yea for fun I called the agency back. They tell me that my chart zeros a bill out if it is sent to collections. So the whole time you are thinking you don't owe a bill, which I DO NOT. Now that everyone at Memorial Hermann and IC systems has my address, and information no one seems to know who I owe this money to??????? Now on my 5th call to see if maybe this office is the one I supposedly owe money to Julio, Asia, Anice, Laura Now I need to call UT Physicians....are y'all having fun yet????? I'm not. I am however about to hire a private detective to find out who this money is supposed to go to. This is beyond ridiculous. I was thinking of changing my PCP to Memorial Hermann due to the wonderful care I received. I will not do that now. UTMB while the care is ehhhhh the billing is spot on. So there is that. I did not care too much for this free-standing emergency room. From the front desk personnel to the medical staff in the back house except for the ER doctor; they were meh and gave off nonchalant attitudes. The nurse was okay, she wheeled me to the restroom, but she made sly inappropriate comments to lighten the mood, but they weren't needed and made me feel more uncomfortable. Even the sonographer acted like she couldn't hold a conversation, smile, or pretend like she was interested in helping me. She applied the warm gel to my legs to assess them. I attempted to ask her why the gel was warm since I'm used to it being cold. She just quickly gave me an answer and then moved the machine so that I wouldn't see what she was seeing on the screen. The overall clinic was clean and had a pleasant scent. The doctor had a cool personality. He was nice and polite. He gave me my diagnosis, but couldn't handle my reaction as I was devasted. It wasn't his fault and honestly, it is still unknown why I was diagnosed with the condition I have. The atmosphere of the urgent care was cold and ominous. read more

I came to the emergency room with an upper respiratory infection. Let me state clearly that I knew what I had because there is a plethora of medical experience in my family. I, myself, have been in the medical profession for 31 years. Dr. Walker did absolutely nothing for me. He did not give me an exam. No stethoscope to listen to my lungs or overall breathing, no feeling of my glands, no looking in my throat, nose, or ears. Etcetera He ordered a flu swab and covid swab. I had zero symptoms of the flu. The test was superfluous, and all he did was rack my insurance company. (I think back now and should have refused the flu swab, but I was too sick at the time to argue.) Dr. Walker diagnosed me with covid. My sister, also in the medical field, asked him numerous questions regarding this covid diagnosis, but Dr. Walker folded his arms, being very standoffish, and tap danced around the questions. He couldn't answer one question with any clear or concise answer. Dr. Walker discharged me with zero medications. Per, Dr. Walker "Ride It Out." Three days later, I was sicker than hell. I had a fever, sore throat, weezing, and had rattling phelm in my throat and lungs. I could not get an immediate appointment with my PCP so my sister got me into see her PCP. My sister's doctor was the ultimate professional and gave me a full exam. I was diagnosed with an acute upper respiratory infection. I was prescribed an antibiotic, medrol pack, cough syrup, and pro air. He also recommended using a facial steamer with some eucalyptus to help my breathing. Bottomline, this is what Dr. Walker should have done, let me repeat, "should have done." Dr. Walker was not professional or ethical in his care for me as a patient. Dr. Walker wasted my time and rack my insurance company. Actually, Dr. Walker is absolutely responsible for me becoming sicker than need be due to his neglect. I am completely and utterly disgusted with the entire experience. Let me close this 100% negative review by saying I have worked in the medical profession at a hospital for 31 years, and this is not how we treat our patients. Any response from Hermann Memorial is 100% superfluous. read more

I wish I could give MH 10 stars. I have been to a few ER in the area before and MH hands down is a great ER. The whole concept of this facility is awesome! Dr. Parmar has the best bedside manners and listening ear. All the staff from front desk, nurses Jamie & Brittany, techs Eddie and Gina was all phenomenal. They worked diligently at treating my diagnoses. I highly recommend this facility, you will be treated like royalty and with respect. My only con is the entrance into parking is not well designed. read more

I have been to the convenient care center before and had wonderful care. Tonight was not the case, I brought my son in because his finger is red and has pus coming out of it. The rude NP named Micheal lectured me on why I shouldn't come to an ER for a nonemergency. However I did think that his finger needed urgent care and possible debreedment. We were also told that antibiotics were not necessary. I'm a nurse and knew that this was not true. We left and went to the MH urgent care which is further from my home where my son got appropriate treatment. I'm very disappointed in the care received this visit! read more

My husband was diagnosed with angioedema and given 2 Benadryl capsules. He should have also been given a steroid shot or a prescription for steroids. Then, our insurance was billed $600 for a subcutaneous or intramuscular shot that was never administered. We repeatedly contacted Memorial Hermann, but they never removed that charge. Charging insurance for service that wasn't rendered is insurance fraud. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. This was a HORRIBLE experience. I went here after both me and my daughter were in a car accident that involved 4 cars. The doctor seeing us over talked us and our concerns. As he assessed my injuries he asked where it was too painful to touch and pressed down on all those areas. He proceeded to tell me as I screamed and tried to push his hand up from the pain and pressure that I need to understand his role! As if I have never been to a doctor. I also expressed that my daughter had been running a fever and coughing. She was tested for flu and Covid and ignored her saying her neck hurt from the car accident. He said children bounce back. The doctor NEVER came back in again to speak to us! I asked if my daughter could be tested for strep and pneumonia since it's going around this season. The attending male nurse said oh does her throat hurt? Why does that matter? Kids are often horrible at expressing symptoms. Then he said oh we can't test for anything else because we discharged you. It was so rude! While we are auto speak to the doctor about results they discharged us. The nurse should not have tried to give us the diagnosis! I had injuries from a car accident and was told to take ibuprofen and I could not even straighten my neck without intense shooting pain. My daughter was also not prescribed anything. Later that night my daughter got worse and I took her to the ER where they told me she had pneumonia! She was quickly given antibiotics. And ibuprofen for her body hurting from the accident. I was given muscle relaxers and pain medicine after sitting 2 days not being able to move my neck. They NEVER pressed down on any injured area to assess me!! This place was horrible! The doctor and male nurse were absolutely not advocating for us or worried about why we were there. They were just ready to get rid of us! They have become desensitized to patient care and it's as if we walked in their house and inconvenienced them. My heart broke when my daughter said so the doctor won't help me? One of the best experiences I have ever had in a hospital. I checked in and had a room within five minutes. The nursing staff is very nice and personable. Doctor Parmar is the BEST DOCTOR EVER!!! He is so down to earth and understanding. Very knowledgable and gas great communication skills. He took time to really understand what issues I was dealing with. I had multiple tests done including xrays and labs. They were all completed within 30 minutes. If I ever have issues, I would definitely come back. read more

Very fast service. Very clean hospital and very capable staff. The nurses (Peter) were very kind and help my wife feel better with making us feel comfy. The hospital room was very clean the dr was quick to come in and look at the problem but she seemed to skip out on all the blood tests we felt she needed to determine no blood clots, not just kind of guess. Our first time to go here. My husband had trouble swallowing and breathing while we were at our son's baseball game. Even though we were a few steps from UTMB ER, we knew Memorial Hermann is a better option and it's only about 5 mins away. We missed their entrance so we turned on the road after theirs. Strangely, there's no through street from the other side and we would have to either park the car across the ambulance entrance or drive around and spend maybe another 10 mins if we were to park on their grounds. So we parked just by 24 hr fitness and walked over to the ambulance entrance. We couldn't see any doors other than this one. So, I pressed the button to alert the people inside. There's maybe 4 or 5 people in there and the parking lot is empty. At first, they just looked at me. Probably confused at why we would be standing there. Uh, hello! Isn't this an ER?!! Finally, a guy came out and I told him what my husband is feeling. I said we couldn't find a good entrance and since it's a door regardless then we can maybe go in here? Husband said "is this entrance exclusively for ambulances?" Kinda strange for a patient who can barely even talk to even ask them that question! Anyway, he ushered us in and all those people standing by rushed to his side and got him to the bed and worked their way around him. A nurse was on her laptop while I fumbled for our insurance card. I asked if they take our insurance, they said they'll take care of it later. Their job is to treat patients first. I couldn't find our card but the nurse took my hubby's other info. Since we've been to their other hospitals, giving out my hubby's name auto-populated their system with the rest of our info. But they still needed the original card. As soon as we got in, the staff were helpful, very nice, and very quick to assist us. I needed to leave to pick up my child from baseball. So, the guy that ushered us in walked me back to my car. I told him about the lack of access roads to their ER facility. And he told me they had just talked about that issue in their meetings that morning!!! I do hope they address this issue ASAP and they iron out stupid rules from the TxDOT. An ER place should be easily accessible! read more

I was admitted last night having severe chest and abdominal pain to where I was having to try not to scream.... The pain was excruciating. The front desk got me in and were friendly, the nurses were all friendly which means a lot when you go to an emergency room and you feel like people don't care it's not a good feeling, the doctor came in and gave me some kind of light pain meds in my iv and none of the pain went away, he was not friendly but definitely not rude at this point. They came back and administered a small amount a morphine which left me ok but I'm about 15-20 minutes the pain came back harder than before. They took chest x rays ect im the mean time and while I'm in the middle of the worst part of the pain he has someone being in release forms saying there was nothing he could do and immediately sent me home, bawling my eyes out I'm excruciating pain and did not give a damn at all. If I knew before I had someone drive me up there I was going to be treated like trash I would have just stayed home in my pain because there was zero difference, in fact by the time I got to another hospital the pain was worse. Two emergency visits in one night because a negligent doctor failed to care or do his job! The nurses even looked confused that he was releasing me on the spot. I couldn't stand up hardly, I could lay down and was vomiting profusely but hey who cares, they got my insurance companies money for whatever they needed. read more

Awesome fast service. I twisted my ankle and showed up. I was in the back getting treated in less than 3 minutes. Dr. Duggal, Hanna, Austin, Jana, Chad and Kathy were awesome. Felt like a king with all them treating me. They did great. Put a splint on and sent me on my way. I was out in an hour. Dr. Duggal called the next day to check up on me. Another nurse called a day later to make sure I was okay,if i needed anything and to see if I followed up with and orthopedic doctor. My new favorite emergency room, hopefully I won't be needing it anytime soon. read more

I chose MHEM because I wanted a shorter wait time and was very satisfied with my care. After arriving at the front desk, I realized I had forgotten my ID and insurance card. Not a problem. The ladies at the registration desk just asked that the items be brought in later. No wait time was a plus. The team was waiting as I walked into the exam room, and Katie and Eddie began caring for me. Dr. Christopher Wang came in, inquired about my medical history and explained the plan of care. Katie checked in on me more than once to inquire about pain or anything needed. Gwen from the business office and took the time to explain the documents that needed to be signed.The CT tech reviewed the procedure and asked if I had any questions before initiating the scan. I've been an RN nearly 30 years and this is the WORST experience I have ever had! I tried unsuccessfully to pull labs off my previous doctor's portal as doctors usually like to see previous labs of a new patient which I am here. The woman sitting on the right of the check-in desk made a snide remark about I should have been there 30 minutes before my appointment instead of 20 and I explained why I was a bit late. Then she charges me a copay but I told her I didn't think I owed one. I still had to wait a bit. After my appointment, while checking out, this lady says they made a mistake and gives me a number to call for a refund. Well guess what?? Now I have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to get a refund because of their incompetence. Also the doctor, who was very nice, was supposed to call in a medication I have to take each morning but the pharmacy says it hasn't been called in and of course the doctor office is closed. WOW! Not at all impressed with Memorial Hermann. May not continue to come here. Doctors are a dime a dozen. read more

Dr Cesta is the most arrogant man. The nurse was judgmental. Ordered tests not even related to why I was there. What Dr does not check a diabetics glucose level or even make a list of daily medications! Beautiful place, everyone else was great. read more
