I usually check-in once I'm in the parking lot and then it's typically a quick wait once I get inside. There's usually the same young female nurse there who's always very pleasant. Today there was a young man there who was very nice and provided me great care as well. They're great at knowing just the right moment to talk to you and what to talk to you about as they're drawing your blood to keep you calm and they often compliment me on my easy to fine veins, lol. They quickly get you in and out so you can get on with your day.

I do recommend you get an appointment because it gets you in and out. I was called close to my scheduled time however I was told to go to another room because apparently a lady who I assume was a walk in had a problem with me going before her. She screamed out loud to the hematologist "I have been waiting!!" "Why is he going before me?" LOL I felt awkward about this and let it be. So I waited around 10 minutes and the hematologist called me in for that blood draw. Unfortunately she did not know how to draw blood because I got stuck 2 times with no blood drawn. She had to get a more experienced person and he was able to get it done on the first try. Thank goodness for him. Sadly I do not recommend coming here and I will definitely not be back here in the future.

I have come across good hematologists in the past at other Quest unfortunately though not here, won't return.

Woe is I for being diabetic and having to get blood drawn on a regular basis…read more Quest is one of the largest lab operations in the country, and most of my experiences have been OK, even in this particular location. However, there was one occasion here when they couldn't find a doctor's order, so I left and went back home only to find out that the dude looking things up really didn't know what he was doing. (They called me back and said "Our bad," without seeming to give a rat's furry behind about my time and travel.) More recently, the phlebotomist drew my blood and wished me a wonderful day. The next day, I was informed that my blood "coagulated" and that I would need to return for another draw. I call bull. Though I went back and let them draw again, which was also a painless experience, I let them know that blood doesn't just coagulate in a vile. Not mine at least. (It didn't "coagulate on the second draw.) The truth is, someone mislabeled or mishandled my lab specimens. Why not just admit the mistake? There are other Quest locations around here, and I have and will continue to avoid this one.
