The floor sales staff have indeed gone beyond the basic effort and have tried to resolve or minimize the problem, and I am very greatful for their help. I do, however, stand behind my suggestions as to how to handle purchases of appliances with regards to local permits and requirements, and best way to protect yourself from problems that are inherent with dealing with big box providers. The system for all of them will not change, but we, as customers, can take steps to ensure that problems are kept to a minimum. If the installer, in my case, had only confirmed damage before they removed the old oven, there would not be any arguments as we could have carried on without hardships while Lowes solved the problem. Knowing the pitfalls can help you avoid these problems and still shop and obtain the best prices.

It turned out the saw I'd brought in for a repair was just not properly tightened up and the friendly staff fixed my issue at no charge. It was a truly great experience. I mean like WTF !!! SO IF I PLAN TO GO TO HOME DEPOT AGAIN I WILL STICK WITH ROUTE 110 IN SUFFOLK COUNTY. Looks like all stores are NOT created equal and neither is MANAGEMENT. Besides you'd be doing yourself a Favor in the end because there is a LOWES and a WALMART 10 mins apart from HD FARMINGDALE. This way if you need to bounce out of HD Farmingdale at any time you'll have options. I gave the Copiague HD just 2 stars because on several occasions I have been aggravated at that store. Oh my Bob what a disaster! Bought a $2700 outdoor furniture set, had it delivered, side tables of…read morecouch were crooked so if you put a beverage on it, it would slide onto the floor. We were told we would get a phone call from repair dept within 5 minutes.....no call. Contacted sales person Sandra who told me she would call me back as soon as she had a chance....no call! Repair dept came and fixed 1 side table, could not fix the other. We were told they would replace with a new sofa, delivery guys came with new part of sofa, not a complete replacement. Delivery guys seemed to have problems putting it together, when done, side table crooked again and the whole couch wobbled, probably because it was assembled wrong.The pattern of the 2 different pieces of the sectional also did not match, they had different patterns . We were contacted by service dept and now were told they were out of stock and would not be getting anymore in.......Contacted sales person Sandra again via text to tell her the entire order was being returned. Now we received a call back more than likely because her commission was going to disappear. She told us she would check this out and get back to us immediately....guess what....no call back. We are now shopping for a new outdoor set, from a more reputable store now doubt. All of this with paying for their so called white glove service.....steer clear of Bobs and salesperson Sandra!
