Having taught customer service training for a Fortune 100 company for many years, my expectations…read morefor service are high; they were met when I shopped at Relax the Back yesterday. The person who helped me was JOAN. Joan was impressively knowledgable about her products and very accommodating. I was shopping for ergonomic chairs and car cushions. Not only did Joan give me plenty of time to experience each chair, she also encouraged me to put the cushions in my car and drive around to assess fit. Rather than engaging in a hard sales approach, she asked questions to see what my specific needs were, and only then did she provide counsel. If I owned this company, I would give Joan a retention bonus, knowing how lucky I was to have an employee of this caliber. (My only concern was that the person who got credit for the sale was her colleague with whom I interacted over two years ago. I guess this is store policy.) I hope Relax the Back management sees this review. It's people like Joan who make me want to continue my relationship with Relax the Back, a company that offers quality products backed by evidence-based research. Thank you!

We went in knowing what we wanted. We also knew it was going to cost a pretty penny. We were…read moregreeted as soon as we entered the door and asked if we needed any help. After hearing what we needed, Gina told us about the different chairs on the floor and invited us to take our time and try out as many of them as we wanted. We did. The hubby had spent the morning doing yard work so the chairs with the massage feature were calling his name. I wasn't sure if I was going to get him out once he sat down. The chair took him to zero gravity. Along with the massage feature it also had heat. It didn't take long for us to agree on which chair we liked best. To be perfectly honest we could have gotten a better price somewhere else but the customer service was what made us decide to make our purchase here. Gina wasn't pushy. She was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions we asked. It is apparent that she wasn't there just to get a paycheck but she believed in her product. Several times when we complemented her on her sales technique she said it wasn't her...the chairs sell themselves. They do and the chair we got is AWESOME! It doesn't take up as much space as we expected even when it is in the zero gravity mode. And it is already paying for itself! We are in it everyday. If you are thinking of purchasing one of these chairs definitely give Relax The Back Woodruff Road, Greenville location a visit. Ask for Gina and tell her Kathy and her "crazy" husband sent you. ;-)

I wake up every morning almost unable to get out of my bed, due to my back hurting so badly . As well as being told they would handle the problem with the mattresses after only having them a few months. i am so disappointed with the company and product .
