The shed was built as requested and placed in our backyard. Although we loved the shed's appearance, we immediately encountered issues with both doors being difficult to open. Rodney, the installer, worked on the doors and advised us to wait a few weeks for the shed to settle before someone would come back to readjust the doors. After a few weeks, a technician visited three times, but the doors continued to stick, making them very hard to open. It is unacceptable to pay over $7K for a shed with doors that do not work properly, especially from day one. A few months ago, I nearly injured/broke my fingers trying to open the doors and called Cool Sheds again to complain. That was the final straw!! Another technician came out, inspected the doors, took pictures, and we received a text stating that the door issues were not covered under the warranty, suggesting that something must have hooked onto the doors and pulled them loose. This explanation was frustrating and unacceptable as we had reported door problems from the first day of installation and that these problems continued. Despite reminding Cool Sheds/Robin Buildings of our initial complaints, it took a couple of months before another company finally arrived today to replace the malfunctioning doors. This negative review highlights our unpleasant experience with a company whose warranty provider tried to avoid honoring their commitment, attempting to blame us for the issue. This deceptive practice is unacceptable and does not reflect well on Cool Sheds. If we didn't have multiple text messages documenting the door problems from day one, we would be stuck with a defective product. The replaced doors are working much better - like they sure have worked the first day. The two gentlemen worked hard, so I will update this review on whether the new doors continue to function correctly a year later.

I originally bought the building with their financing however I have never received my payment book or email from corporate. I will be paying the building in full by the end of this month. When I contacted corporate regarding purchasing a building I was told Leonard had just purchased Cook's buildings and they (Leonard) were working through the acquisition issues as well as prior employees destroying electronic files. I found out today the acquisition was two years ago. My original delivery was never scheduled. The driver contacted me that he was on his way with my building nor did he want to move my original building as was agreed to during purchase and put in writing. I was then told my delivery was going to be one of two days Leonard would pick to which I gave the ultimatum either my day or refund my money. My building has finally been delivered but not without undue delays. Buyer beware Leonard is NOT an upstanding company. I've seen, through a microscope, single cell amoeba exist with more efficiency.

I can only assume this place is only interested in making cash off shady finance deals. The last time I called and asked why no employees will help make this transaction happen or call back, his only question was "do you plan on financing with us?" When I said "no, cash" once again... nothing. Never dealt with a company that had no interest in working with cash paying customers. Most unprofessional group of out-to-lunch guys ever.
