They did a great job moving all of my furniture without damage. The guys were super efficient and friendly and I never saw any of them taking a break. My only issue was that we were originally told we'd have the use of wardrobe boxes, but were told they weren't available when the movers arrived. They ended up using large boxes and throwing all the clothes in, which worked out in the end. They also came in without masks. I didn't ask them to put them on since the windows were open and I kept a distance, but I'd imagine they would have worn them if I asked. read more

They moved us from Marin to Berkeley and broke our master bedroom bed headboard (it has wrought iron inserts.) They handed me the shattered pieces and said a handyman could fix it. I texted, emailed and called. They never responded. They use untrained labor and give them on the job training. An excellent idea, in principle, but if the company doesn't stand by its work, that's misleading and unfair. About a week ago, they emailed an "insurance claim form" but there was no attachment. I responded 3 times to the email requesting the form, to no avail. No response. I wouldn't trust this company with things I feel are important. read more

What a great team! From all of my phone calls with questions, to the day of moving, everything was vey well communicated and spot on. I had called a few larger movers because we were moving from San Francisco to a small neighborhood near Occidental, with one way winding roads. I thought I needed a large company to go the distance, but I didn't. I called Fast Masters. I had a quote in less than 24 hours. The quote came in lower than most companies I called. I thought it had to be wrong, but they had such great reviews, and the small sized truck that I needed, that I decided to give them a try. Julie on the phone was great! She answered all of my questions and was very patient. We only had larger furniture to move, just 16 pieces of dressers, bed, bookshelves, etc. So, I thought it shouldn't take that much time. but, John and Justin arrived and wrapped everything so well. They took such great care of our stuff. I really appreciate that. It took about 2 hours to get everything wrapped and loaded. and less than an hour to get it unloaded into our home. The owner Martin, along with Kamryn and Carlos, were punctual in arriving and getting started. They had everything wrapped safely and loaded in short order, taking extra care with valuable and fragile items. They were even flexible in going out of the way to make an unscheduled stop to pick up extra items stored at a friends house. Unlike a lot of other companies I spoke with, Martin and his team was very upfront and communicated clearly on there estimate cost and time for our move. I move ALOT. Like yearly because I work in hotels and I go where I receive the best offer. Needless to say, I'm a pro at moving. When the truck gets there, my stuff is pretty well packed. I'm not stuffing shit into boxes. I have become pretty good at spotting bad movers. The gal at the office is a gem, I had to move my move dates around a little due to work conflicts. Every time I called she was so pleasant and willing to do what she could for me. The crew called me that morning to say they would be there at 9 ( in an hour) this is super helpful so I could shower and eat and pick up beforehand. Jeremiah and his crew were so sweet and helpful. John handled items as they got loaded. They had a system and we were done pretty quick (I don't have as much crap as I used to. I keep it light) but damn they were fast and I think they wanted out of the rain. I tipped them each a C note and told them I'd write a great review as it was one of the smoothest moves I have had. Initially had good conversations I'm getting estimate, moving 1.5 away from 3 bedroom hone to 2 bedroom apartment. Received an estimate for $1600 which is what I paid to move previously from San Jose to Sonoma County. I asked specifically if there were any other charges ( thinking travel fee, gas, materials) and was told no, thats everything. Day of the move, I get a text asking for my address, not a good sign. Three movers show up with an estimate that has $753 travel fee already on it! It took them forever!!! Over 12 hours, and they broke my brand new $1600 standing desk and told me it had a "knot in it." This is not Ikea furniture, but ok, fine. We got to the new apartment around 1, and they did not leave until close to 9 PM! They charged me for materials (never asked me if I wanted or needed), they charged me for overtime for the guys, they ran up the charges to over $3500!! More than my rent and 3 times what they quoted. At that point, the movers tells me about his felonies. I wrote the check to get them to leave. You will be milked for every cent. read more

Jeremiah and Gabriel did the actual move and then went overboard helping make this a smooth transition for my sister. I have not met gentlemen who were nicer than they were. I requested a move With Jonathan sometime ago for a move that did not occur. I re arranged a new move to a different location once again with Jonathan who had kept my information and re adjusted the amount of the estimate due to lack of stairs. He sent out his crew on time on the day of our move. Mind you, we lived in our home for 29 years so it was quite a move. The crew, Jimmy, Martin, Brian and Gabriel called to let us know they were on their way They came in first to assess the move so they could unload appropriately. I am not the best packer , but they dealt with the open boxes I had packed. I was impressed from the moment they arrived. This crew worked together like a machine. Fast but very efficient with no breakage of anything! They were a TEAM and treated each other with incredible respect. Sounds silly but, they assisted me with one of three bed skirts and did the other 2 unprompted! We plan to move again to our forever home and absolutely will request this team. I have to first say that the company did an excellent job and provided me with quality movers who were polite and respectful. They showed up on time, and worked hard! I really appreciate all the work they put into our move and care care they took not to break or damage anything. My only problem was that they ended up charging almost double the quote. They blamed it on the stairs, but I had been upfront about the stairs and even done a video tour. I had done a lot of shopping around to get the best price, and felt a little ripped off when it was that much more. Overall, really nice people/ company, but did wish they had been more accurate in their quote or Atleast given me a price they wouldn't go above. Day one: after hours, the movers showed up to move a single item to a new address. Day two: the remainder of my house was packed and moved to the storage unit except for one item which couldn't be removed because it wouldn't go through the door. I was told that new movers would come the next day and that I would be charged for the third day. Day 3: new movers showed up and successfully removed the item to the storage unit. Not an easy move whatsoever being both homes were two stories and the drive was along very narrow and winding highway 1, so items in the truck had to be packed very very securely in order to avoid breakage. The day before moving, I opened my front door to a line of NFL guys who were there to pack everything for the next-day move. Yes, they were way bigger than me and stronger but also evident was the care they took with my dishes and crystal! Never would have guessed it. Each person seemed to have a speciality e.g. deconstructing my computer and reconstructing it in my new home. Also, not one piece of the crystal got broken. My plants and outdoor heavy stone furniture arrived in the same good shape they left. The guys stayed focused. They worked their tails off. They did little extra things I asked for at the last minute and always in good humor. I told Julie: "Fast Masters should charge more." Oh. These guys were totally the best movers we have ever had! They worked for nearly 12 hours! everything was wrapped and handled so carefully! They are so kind and respectful and creative! They figured out a way to get a desk into the second story by putting it through an upper level patio! They were on a ladder hoisting this huge desk over their heads! It was like Spiderman on steroids! Amazing. We have moved three times since we moved down here from the Seattle area before the fires and we are finally in a place that we want to live in for a long time and they really made moving day wonderful instead of horrible. I spoke at length with Jonathan, explaining we lived in an apartment and needed some furniture moved to storage 20 miles away and the rest of our belongings moved to our new home. These guys blew me away yesterday. They were so fast, so hard-working, cordial and professional. I was taken aback by how easily and fast they got this done - maybe also because I've moved a lot lately and it's usually so difficult. They didn't talk my ear off, I didn't have to keep asking them to get back to work, they didn't disappear when I wasn't looking, and they took direction easily and understood what I was asking, even when it was confusing.
