Went in for a simple earlobe piercing and started off my experience noticing the piercer was clearly very high and once my service was complete he proceeded to tell me it was cash only. This was not told to me before beginning service otherwise I would have left because I didn't have cash on me. After he told me this I explained that I did not have any cash on me he was just staring at me with no solution. After a slow conversation because he was clearly high we came to a solution of Cash App which is not something I had downloaded. I downloaded the app just to send him money at the end of the service the piercer and owner expressed no apologies for the extreme inconvenience and for the lack of professionalism. Walked in and got my tattoo re-hit and outlined. BOO BOO stepped right up and handle the situation. Got me in the chair within a few minutes.. I couldn't handle getting it all done at once just like the first time I had the outline done and then a few months later I got the scorpion filled in. So as of right now, the outline is so sharp. It looks great. Don't even feel like I need to get it filled in. Once I get back from my trip in a couple weeks, I'll revisit getting it filled in. This was the WORST experience at a tattoo shop I've EVER experienced. I am covered in tattoos from lots of different people and this was by far the most disrespectful, rude, disgusting and mean tattoo artist EVER Moses Martinez. Came in to get matching tattoos with my aunt and cousin. My aunt called Friday to see if we could get an appointment, the person on the phone told her we could come in at 6:00 Sunday evening to surprise my cousin for her birthday with the tattoos. We walk into the shop at 5:36 and immediately we could tell something was off, what tattoo shop have you ever been in that isn't playing music? Anyway after waiting about 40 minutes the guy (who never introduced himself to us, never asked our names nothing) came up and asked us what we wanted. We showed him the picture we picked out as a reference. he was extremely rude to my aunt telling her that he remembers talking to her over the phone and she was very "persistent" and that she was needy. So we gave him the pic for reference and he starts drawing it. Mind you this tattoo is of a cactus it's is only line work and it's very basic and we only wanted it about 2"x 2". It took him 30 minutes to TRACE it!! Once he drew it he showed us and we were set to start. We walk over to his station and he continuously tells us how we are to much and we stress him out, he feels sorry for our dad and he can't deal with us. The entire time we weren't even talking to him! Like I said before I have lots of tattoos and he was making comments about my tattoo artist (who Is in Peoria AZ) and blah blah. My aunt is going first so she walks behind the wall and is getting the stencil on and he's commenting about how he can't handle us and we stress him out yet again, the whole time he's setting up he is making these comments. He finally gets the stencil on her and it's way off to one side, it looks weird. She comes out of the station and asks us to look because it's on the back of her leg and she can't see it well. I tell her that I think it should move over to the left a little bit because it looks to far to the right. I took a picture for her (which I will add to this review so that everyone can see how off it was) she agreed with me and he starts getting mad at me telling me that I'm wrong and it lined up and that I don't know anything. So I said look if this is such a problem for you we don't have to do this, he was sitting on the floor and jumped up and got in my face like he was going to hit me. I am a girl. Then he proceeded to yell at me that I have an attitude (because I wanted him to move the tattoo over a little bit). Needless to say my aunt and cousin both thought he was going to hit me, as did I. So we walked out and left. He never told us his name but I will be calling to complain in the morning and I will find out his name and edit this post. Beware don't go here unless you want to be treated like shit and have a grown man act like he is going to hit you as a female. MOSES is complete trash, disrespectful to women and an all around asshole. Update: called and spoke with the "manager" and he was an even bigger dick than the artist. He told us that it is our fault and that he wouldn't give us the artists name. He told me that the customer isn't right in tattoo shops. That's funny because if you are putting something on my body forever I think I get to have a say as to how it goes. So do yourself a favor and don't ever go here. I had to go by the tattoo shop twice to meet him when he stated he would be there, each time visiting from Phoenix. When he finally replied he acted as if he has done no wrong, that I should have come by or called the shop. I did. I have pictures of his unprofessional way of handling this. I used their ATM to pull out a $20, which charged me $4 to do so, assuming they would have change seeing as it is a CASH ONLY business. My nipples have a botched job because after I experience an allergic reaction robo was not helpful in changing out my rings and told me to give it a couple more days even though it got to the point where part of my nipple was just crusting off. My nose ring was pierced by him. I waited a few months to change the stud to a ring. BUT I WENT IN TO HAVE HIM CHANGE IT SO I WOULDNT F**K IT UP. BUT HE MANAGED TO F**K IT UP. He gave me this beautiful rose gold ring but didn't close it all the way. So a month passes and now I have an X-ray to attend. So I bought plastic jewelry to change out all my piercings. For my son's 16th birthday we had planned for him to get his first tattoo as a gift from me his mom. We tried to make an appointment with another artist at another studio about a month out. The day before the appointment it was decided between me and the artist this wasn't going to work. Now we were on a mission to find a new artist willing to do a 16 year old and we were trying to do it on his birthday which was the next day. I got an amazing tattoo from Dean-A when she was at the E side Fast Lane, but when she moved to TX, I thought I would have a similar experience at Fast Lane again. Last year, I went to Clint on Oracle for a tattoo on my calf. I brought an image that I wanted the tattoo *based* on, and asked for him to re-draw it so it was unique. He didn't redraw it at all, but I went forward. He then discouraged me from placing the tattoo where I wanted, but looking at the finished design, it totally would have fit where I wanted it. Last, he didn't ask me about what colors and shading I wanted, and since I was laying on my stomach, I couldn't see what he was working on. It was my fault for not speaking up more, but the tattoo came out mediocre at best. Today, I went in with my service dog to shop for some gauges. I was immediately told that they don't allow dogs, to which I replied he was a service animal. They persisted, and said they couldn't allow us in for "sanitary" reasons. I told them that a service animal is no different from a blind person's cane or a quadriplegic's wheelchair, but they still insisted, so I immediately walked out. Service dogs are allowed in hospitals, which have even higher standards than a tattoo shop! People who discriminate against disabled people will not earn a single penny from my patronage. If you get a tattoo here, make sure you know the artist first! My friend and I went here to get tattoos off the recommendations of three different people. However, they all said to go to a specific person. So I guess a good person can work at a bad shop. We walked in and made an appointment with Boo Boo, the first person who approached us. We each wanted a simple, all black, tribal. Very easy. He told us it would take an hour each. We come to the appointment and I go first. It takes much longer than an hour, and I get the feeling he's overworking it. He starts on my friend and when he does someone else from the shop asks him if he wants dinner. He tells the guy he's starving, but he'll eat after he's done. So he's hungry, rushing, and our tattoos are taking longer than he originally thought. He works on my friend for a LONG time. She's crying, he's overworking the shit out of her tattoo. It takes much longer than mine. She has five other tattoos, and keeps telling me this hurts worse than any of her other ones. She bled through the bandage over it and tells me immediately she knows something's wrong. Her tattoo is scabbed over and very sore for WEEKS. It takes several months to heal. My tattoo is good, although the outer line is much darker than the inside, even with his overworking. Her tattoo, seven months later, is splotchy and pink throughout the entire tattoo. It looks terrible and needs to be worked on again. And of course now she has to find a different shop to try to get it fixed. Hands down my favorite shop. I've had seven pieces done by David Meeks at the oracle location and had two older ones I got at other shops fixed by him. I love them all, plain and simple the work is just super good, the prices are reasonable. I've never seen anyone get ripped off by anyone working there, and let's face it that's a rarity at tattoo shops. David does amazing traditional work, unless you're blind or have really crap taste you're gonna be happy with whatever he does for you. If any of the employees ask you to play fooze ball don't. This is hands down the worst tattoo shop in Tucson. I went there with my daughter and niece to get matching tattoos and we were treated with nothing but rudeness and a huge attitude problem. We asked for certain colors and to have the stencil put on again, due to placement being crooked. The artist (Moses Martinez) got up in my nieces face for asking this and told her she'd had attitude the whole time. She thought he was actually going to hit her. We said never mind and we left. The following day we called the shop to speak to the manager or owner and was treated with the same rude and very unprofessional attitude. I just got home from getting a cover up done. Even though I have a month before it heals, I was very happy with Clint, the artist that attended to me. He is the epitome of professional. It was about two weeks from consultation to execution. I told him I wanted a dragon. Clint took a stencil of my leg and created a dragon far better than my expectations. It's exquisite. Everywhere else, I was quoted nine hours and about 300 dollars more than what I paid. Clint finished in about 4 1/2 hours. He was kind and didn't get upset with my whining (lol). Because I hate pain, I don't know if I'll get another tattoo, however, I have a masterpiece on my leg that is truly enviable. read more

If I could give it a minus zero star I would. On February 12th I walked in to Fast Lane tattoo. Spoke to the guy that goes by booboo. I asked about setting an appointment with him, he was very condescending and rude when we first interacted. I brushed it off due to him being in a hurry to sit his client. I continued to ask about when he would be available, he clearly said I'm booked till March. So we decided on March 19th, 2021 at 1 pm. He said I would have to leave a $50 deposit and stated they didn't take cards, he pointed to the ATM machine in the building. I got $60 out of the ATM, asked if he had change he said no and kept the $60 saying it would go toward the total of the tattoo. The only way I wouldn't get it back is if I didn't show up. He concluded by asking for my number and confirmed the date March 19th at 1pm, I saved it on my phone just to be sure. I also asked if I needed to sign anything, he said no. I was naive, the guy called me today saying my appointment was today. When clearly he had confirmed for March 19th he said he was booked till March. He won't be refunding me the money, he had the same condensing and rude tone of voice. I honestly recall March 19th why would I want to loose my hard earned money. This is unacceptable, such lack of professionalism. He even had the audacity to tell me that if I wanted to book again I would have to set another deposit fee. With this kind of service I prefer to go somewhere else. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. read more

I go to the Orcale one cause the owner Jim who I have been working with is at that location now. Great, super nice, huge place!! Very very clean. Everyone is very nice! My ears were pierced several months earlier at an ear piercing kiosk location in the mall. Although the young lady's intentions were good, one ear was pierced higher than the other and both were pierced at a downward angle. Translate that to mean the mall "job" did not live up to expectations. And, besides, the mall location used a "gun" which was far, far more painful than the needle piercing Robo did when I went there for a badly needed fix-it procedure. Loved the technician Robo, he was so very careful, skilled, and professional; I only wish I knew this was the right way to get my ears pierced in the first place. He fixed everything for me and now, a week later, all is healing well and I am thankful I found a true professional to make the corrections. You get what you pay for and Piercing Pagoda was free (if you bought the earrings) and Robo charged $20 for one ear or $30 for 2 ears, and used my existing earrings. What a difference! Now I don't need to do a downward angle to put a post in my ear lobes and the earrings I do put in are now (finally) in close proximity to each other on either side of my face. It's a small thing, I guess, but when we go through the process, don't we all want to have the holes where they should be? It really makes a difference we see every day as we put new earrings in our ears. Thank you Robo, you were worth every penny I paid and I regret I didn't do my homework in advance to know (1) the piercing gun was the wrong way to proceed and (2) a tattoo parlor does these things the right way. read more

Everything he has drawn up for me has been amazing and I get compliments on the color and design a year or more after they've healed. I have been very happy with two previous tattoos done here. One month ago, my BFF and I got matching bows on our toes. The right half of hers literally disappeared after it healed, mine too lost some outline and color. We went in today to see about getting it touched up. We were first told that toes usually have that issue. Why were we not told this when we first went in to get the tattoo. Then we were told they only do touch ups on Mondays and Thursdays and we would need to come back. there were NO other customers in there. We went out of our way to go in today. The original tattoo took five minutes, yet we had to make an appointment to come back for a touch up. We were also told it has to be done by the original artist. We were way overcharged on this tattoo to begin with and we couldn't even get it fixed. Not happy and will no longer recommend or go back here once I have my toe fixed. read more

Dave Meek is by far one of the best tattoo artists I have ever come in contact with. About 7 1/2 years ago we were lucky enough to browse his page, fell in love with his style and 3 dimensional tattoos, many can't do 3D, Dave can! My friend went to see him and has been a loyal customer since, follows Dave wherever he may go. I personally felt like maybe Dave belongs to her and didn't feel right stepping on toes, but, I decided after many bad tattoos in our family, that Dave just wants to make money, it's not about a personal history between clients. He needs to feed his family. I booked an appointment, was reserved right away. He also responds quickly to FB messenger in which I'm super pleased, for in the past tattooists have ignored my request for information in this manner. He gave me a round about in price for my son's tattoo and away we went. He also snuck in touch ups for me and my daughter. Although on the high side in price, you get what you pay for. After hearing about tattoos that a few of my coworkers had gotten at Fast Lane's Wilmot location, I happened to drive by the Oracle location a few days ago and popped in to ask about a possible rework on a wrist tattoo that had gone horribly wrong. I hated my original design, the original artist didn't know what the hell she was doing, and for years I had been looking for a good artist to fix it. Finally, I walked in and met with David, who immediately set to work coming up with an idea to update and improve the current design. Happy with the idea, I set up an appointment for later in the day. I am very glad I did! He was friendly, creative, and eager to help me get a design I wouldn't hate so much. It was quick, too--only took about 45 minutes to rework the whole thing. Granted, I didn't use color so maybe that is why it was quick. But I came out with a tattoo even better than the first, and I highly recommend either Fast Lane location to anyone who wants a tattoo, cover-up, or rework. My first impression walking in this shop was not good I had a gut feeling things were going to be bad. I was right. We were greeted by a girl who yelled he will be with you in a minute from the back of the shop. Us girls would be talking to each other mind you that Moses and the piercer talked to each other more than anything but not to us plus this shop doesn't play movies or music making it a bit awkward. He would then keep telling us "we are too much" and that "we are stressing him out." We weren't even talking to him! Then proceeded to say how he felt bad for our dad for having to deal with us. So uncalled for as it was said in a mean unplayful way. Finally, he was ready to start tattooing he put the stencil on my mom first that's when things really got ugly. We wanted the stencil more centered and strengthened. My cousin took a picture to show my mom how it looked... He shook his head at us for not liking his placement. My cousin finally just said if this is too much and its such a big deal for him we can go somewhere else. He jumped up and was inches from her face yelling about her having an attitude since we walked in. Enough was enough after 2.5 grueling hours of being treated like complete crap we decided to leave. Moses was beyond unprofessional the entire time. He would say things like he didn't care how the tattoo turned out it's not on him what professional tattooist doesn't take pride in the work they do? To me this just showed his lack of knowledge and talent. As a last minute walk in we went to another shop and had an amazing experience! So I guess I can say thanks for being so horrible Fast Lane you help us found a tattoo shop we will be using from now on. A great one with professionalism, pride and extreme talent plus loads of personality. Today my cousin caller to talk to the manager and he was just as unprofessional as Moses.
