You pick how often you want them to come and it's only $40 an hour with a two hour minimum. Very affordable for what we are looking for. I am so happy and a small weight has been lifted off my shoulders. We live so far I worry and dad refuses to move in with us.

Ariana is a social person, and is a calming influence with my wife, and she shows a clear capability for positive social interaction. This was one of the three options that my doctor let me pick from. At first, I chose this place…read morefor location. Located right across the Foodland in Waipio, sharing the same parking lot. I actually had a little hard time finding the place inside the Gentry Waipio Medical Building. I was able to find all the other units, but not #105. It can be a little tricky for the first timer, it's just to the right of the men's restroom. The door is a little recessed from the rest of the other offices there. I have absolutely no regrets choosing this place for my physical therapy. Recovering from partially torn MCL, and torn ACL post surgery. Rehab for this is a pretty long process, so you'll want to find a place you'll want to go to for a while. The staff here are all so friendly and cheerful and positive and happy. Speaking from personal experience, rehab is not fun. The whole point is pushing past your comfort zone so you can regain the mobility and strength you had before your injury. Sometimes, it's a painful process. Having a cheerful staff is what keeps you coming back for more (pain!). Roy is the Physical Therapist there. He evaluates you and talks you through the exercises you need to do. Super local guy. Super positive. There are several rooms, a bunch of beds throughout, some work out equipment and tools, and some space for people to do their exercises. It's a pretty cozy place, but there's a good system when full of patients where we all rotate, depending on the exercises we're doing. From what I can see from the months coming here, there are a majority of knee injury patients. So a lot of us are doing similar exercises depending on where we are on recovery. I was really surprised when I saw that there were only 2 reviews prior to mine. I understand now why. The demographic of clients here are mostly teenagers, elderly, worker's comp injuries, and then people like me who get injured trying to have fun in life. haha. They are the best and excellent getting coverage if our caregiver got sick or could not make it for good reason. Harry A Saunders III worked very near 50 years for Castle and Cooke eventually becoming Executive President and overseeing all operations in Hawai'i since 2001.He is particular and Cleo Suize was just amazing. She was a nurse elsewhere before and obvious that she knows how to care for patients! We all got along with her great, energetic, and kind personality! She rarely Sat and made sure my husband was always comfortable. When he napped, she would stay by the door to peek in on him and to hear him too. He would only sleep in his bed in our room and she made it work. Even our house was kept maintained and clean. The days Cleo was off we had Aida who was also really good caring for Harry and molding into our family! We all got along like family with the caregivers from Lou's and she herself would come by for personal visits to see if our needs were met!! It was like finding Angels on Earth for our care! We initially set visits for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-4 PM, but they immediately started canceling. To make things simpler, we changed to just Fridays from 1-4 PM. Even then, the problems continued. Every week, despite having a set schedule, they would call and ask if we needed someone to come. Each time I reminded them that, yes, we had already agreed on Fridays. They would confirm--but then, at the last minute, I'd get a call saying they had no caregiver available, or the caregiver had car trouble, or sometimes no call at all and simply no one showed up. When I called to address this, the response I got was basically, "We can't control the caregivers if they don't show up." That kind of excuse is unacceptable. Reliability and communication are the bare minimum in healthcare, and this company consistently failed on both. What was supposed to be supportive care turned into a stressful, frustrating experience week after week.
