AMAZING!!! Completely forgot to order the garlic naan, so we were given regular naan, but next time I will remember!! Literally everything about this place was so good, sat in the nice outside section that overlooked the boats, we were left alone except in the beginning and end, and dirty plates were always taken while we had gone to get more food. Will absolutely come back at the same time (11:40am ish) and are happy to bring friends with us, because this place does not deserve to be kept a secret. Probably won't get the mango lassi again (or maybe I will who knows), just because it tasted like the Jumex mango drink, so since I can buy that for cheaper, I likely won't get it again.

There were plenty of options, and it's the kind of place where you want to keep going back up to try a little bit of everything. Unfortunately, the service completely took away from the experience. Our waiter brought the bill while we were still eating and in the middle of a conversation, and then kept coming back to rush us to pay. It felt really uncomfortable and unnecessary at the time--especially since no one had mentioned that they were closing. If we had known, we would have been more mindful and wrapped things up sooner. Great food, but the lack of communication and rushed service made it hard to fully enjoy the experience. I'd consider coming back for the food, but I really hope the service and communication improve.

It's rare to find a spot that masters both North Indian and South Indian cuisine so well. The flavors here are incredibly authentic--you can tell they use fresh ingredients and bold, aromatic spices. I especially loved the rich curries and the biryani, which was perfectly seasoned. A few highlights: * Lunch Buffet: Their popular lunch buffet is a fantastic way to sample a variety of traditional dishes. * Lunch Combos: If you're in a hurry, their lunch combos are convenient, quick, and very satisfying. * Ambiance: The setting is elegant and welcoming, making it great for both a casual lunch or a nicer dinner out. The service was exceptional, and the overall experience was top-notch. Truly a go-to destination for anyone who loves genuine Indian flavors!

Savory and spicy with surprising bits of pepper, this dish was a very welcomed contrast to the version from India House in Buena Park that I found sweet for some reason. - Garlic Naan: Light, airy, and a nice complement to the curry. - Samosas: Probably the best item I ordered. Aromatic, crispy exterior with delicious potatoes and vegetables inside. I'm sad I requested only 1 order of it. Though 1 order comes with 2 pieces, it was so delicious that I was craving more after it was eaten. I definitely see myself ordering from here again.

Upon stepping foot beyond the door, Chef VR greeted me with a smile and said "I see you're carrying a violin!" In response, I said yes and he offered that I play him and his customers a song for a free flatbread--in which I took the offer. I performed Shenandoah arranged by Eric Morales, and everybody applauded me. With his promise in mind, he gave me flatbread, free of charge, along with a 10% discount for being a student. My food, it was all made fresh and the flatbread was made from scratch. I love the flavors of Indian cuisine and the damn good Gulab Jamun. Chef VR is a really nice and kind person you'll meet, he is very greeting and he will give people fist bumps for free. Definitely give this place a try!

The owner seemed really friendly and enthusiastic about the menu. We could see that he had poured his heart and soul into this place. We got two maharaja burrito and 1 maharani vegan burrito and samosas. The vegan mango lassi was tempting but it was made from coconut milk and I prefer not to eat that much saturated fat. Food looked great and smelled good. The ingredients tasted fresh. I think it lacked a little bit flavor (possible littles less salt). Spices were fine for me since we got the spicy cali with avocados. For my husband he didn't enjoy it much because he prefers a bit more spicy and also thought it lacked flavor. On the other hand, samosas had the perfect flavor. It was delicious. Parking was easy to find.

We ordered mango margaritas and the Mango Passion Fruit Lassi. Both were phenomenally crafted. To eat, we ordered the cheese & jalapeño kulcha, saffron rice (side), Cali Chilli Pot Pie, and the Tandoori Sea Bass. My soul left my body as soon as I bit into the sea bass. I'm someone who rarely savors my food, but I genuinely felt sad that I was on my last bite. All other dishes we ordered were perfect. The sea bass; however, stole the show. Shout out to the chef Mandrpal! We were recommended the lobster and short ribs for our next visit.

I've tried almost everything on the menu over the years, from orange chicken to the short ribs, and most dishes are delicious. The portions are huge and perfect for sharing family-style, especially with larger groups. They've always handled big parties well, though I'd definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time since they can get busy. The ambiance is probably the one area that could use some improvement, but the food and portions more than make up for it. If it's your first time, I'd recommend the chicken corn soup, sweet and sour chicken, green onion paratha, and Mongolian beef.
