Reference: I trust car-part.com to find parts I need to keep my '97 Pathfinder on the road (great resource!). I called FAW November 22, 2025 and made a $100 deposit via Venmo. I am one of many who appear to have been scammed by Fast Auto Wrecking in Battle Ground, WA. Complaints typically are like mine: a part is listed on car-part.com and with a call, "Alex" gets a deposit via Venmo. Most calls go unanswered and/or vmail not returned. When getting an answer, gaslighted: promises and excuses never result in a shipped product or a product ready for pickup. "Call me Monday" is a frequent response. At one point it was "stop by Saturday but call first". No phone answer, so I drove to the yard. Chains across gates, wrecked cars strewn around, calls again unanswered. Neighbor business told me the owner is never there, and that it's common for customers to get scammed. I left more vmails and most recently a message via Venmo asking for a refund - no answer (suprise). There's still a listing on car-part.com for that item. I've filed a complaint with the WA Attorney General's office, also with car-part.com, who responded that they are in the process of pulling FAW's account. I prepaid $1750 for a engine from him. He then asked for a couple days to get engine pulled. a week later he gave the excuse of a death in the family. I gave hom another week. He then give me the excuse of his worker getting hurt. Said he'd have it pulled in 3 days. two weeks later still had no engine, just excuses. I got scammed by Alex just like a lot of the people writing a review here. I ordered a front bumper, blend door actuator and climate knob for a Dodge ram van he posted on craigslist for parts. After calling the number on craigslist for fast auto Alex had me message him on a different number with my cash app payment. after taking my $400 payment, he said he would have the parts delivered to me to Eugene the following daywhen his driver would come down to either an auction or tow truck place. Three weeks later now and the parts never made it to Eugene.. I called him almost every day and he would give me some story about why he wasn't able to do it. I told him I had given him plenty of time and that it would be fair now to ask for my money back and he refused. I reported payment to cash app and I encourage other people to do the same. I was needing a new intact crossmember subframe for my car and Alex agreed to take cash and meet me in Portland that day. However, the internal welded bolt needed to thread in the control arm bolt was busted off, so I told him no thanks I can't use it. He pulled another part for me the next day that was intact so I went up and paid cash. Please pay attention to all of the negative reviews because they are true. Wish I would've done some research before giving this scammer (Alex Kutsar) my money. He will give you sob stories like no other. Do not give this guy money. My experience was just like every negative review on here. He took my money up front, told me it would be a week and it took a month to get the biggest POS transmission I've ever seen. After meeting at the locked gate I had to text him "where are you" he then says "I see you I'll be there. He convinced me to take this POS transmission that had every sensor broken off and the secondary valve body was destroyed, not to mention the case being broken which I knew before hand. After getting home and finding moisture inside the transmission and realizing that I'm not going to try and switch cases between two transmissions, I told him it's not gonna work and ask for my money back. TLDR; SCAMMER. same experience as most other reviewers. Alex seemed nice over the phone, took my credit card number, and said he would ship the window regulator within the next 2 days. Didn't get anything in the mail or hear anything for days, so called and talked to him briefly, subsequently texted him my shipping address (he contacted me through a separate number). He seemed confused about which part I had ordered and I got the impression that he didn't pull the part yet. He was unresponsive to my communication. I got smart late and looked on yelp to see if this was a trustworthy business. When I looked through my credit card statements I didn't see that he had charged anything and asked him to cancel the order. I wonder if he is sitting around with my credit card info and waiting till I forget about it so he can rack up charges. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH HIM. I wasn't able to find parts for my car within a 200 mile radius of my house but I ended up calling Fast Auto in Battleground after a lead from a local wrecking company and he pulled the parts for me same day & stayed late for me to pick them up, it was reasonably priced, I got my two radiators, fan and bumper reinforcement beam for like $500 and he was super friendly. He did ask for the cash sent to his cash app upfront and I read reviews and called him back but he took a $50 deposit to pull the parts for me and the rest when we got to Battleground to pick them up. Would highly recommend for parts. Have not tested them out yet as I just finished putting them in the other day but if they don't work I will update this review. read more

We contacted Fast Auto wrecking after locating them on carparts.com for a replacement fuel tank for our Ford Ranger after someone drilled the gas tank in Seattle. The tank is discontinued, so we have little options. Alex let us know on Thursday that he could have it pulled and ready for pick up on Saturday. We paid him cash on good faith and a handshake. It's been over a month now, and still no tank. My husband has called numerous times with either no answer or Alex let's him know that he will get it pulled within a couple of days and will call us. They said the company name was Battlegroundz Auto Wreck so it took me a while to find this. They came to pick up my car but had the wrong truck. It was a makeshift wood plank platform truck that looked like someone built it at home. My boyfriend basically had to push the suv onto the platform for Eli Which took hours. Glad he's a big guy otherwise there no way it would've happened! I was unable to make it to the pick up as I was at work and I feel they took advantage of the situation and did not give payment nor bill of sale to my boyfriend. I contact him to request at least the bill of sale referring to the deferred payment upon receipt of title. He said he would get this to me. I've contacted he number two more times since and have gotten no response. No answer upon call and no reply to texts. At this point I may have to report my car as stolen because this was not the agreed upon deal. Kind of a shady business, so it seems. If you have the means to deal with another company I would say go with someone else. Otherwise get everything you need from them upfront. Once they have your car that's it. I drove 3 Hours to battleground to confront him. When I got to his so called salvage yard. I walked around the perimeter of his fence and I could only see what it looked like maybe 20 to 30 cars that have been completely stripped down. Tried buying an engine from this business, they made me pay them up front through Venmo which you can't dispute like a credit card transaction, and after 10 weeks there is still no engine. I called to get a refund and the owner, Alex, said the engine is out and ready, but that I wouldn't be able to pick it up until the end of next week. Convinced it's actually not pulled or ready and only with a threat of a refund are they actually thinking about maybe doing their job. Had a terrible experience with this business and the owner (Alex). We would give negative stars if we could. First issue is the quoted us $100 for a window when we called the first time. The next day we called to confirm the window was still there, but the price was $150. They confirmed the window was still there, so we drove 2 1/2 hours to get it. We even phoned an hour before we arrived to let them know our ETA, which they said they would be there. When we were maybe 5-10 minutes away, he called to my son to say that he couldn't do it today anymore and that we'd have to come back tomorrow. When I called to try to figure out the problem, Alex was extremely short with me, cutting me off when I was speaking, when I was trying to ask about what the problem was and why we had been told different things multiple times. I received no answers, only blame that he said to call before driving (which we had, multiple times) and Alex threatened to hang up on me multiple times in the conversation when I asked about the poor communication. Had bought an Engine for a Saab. After giving them the money up front they told me that the engine should be ready to be picked up at the end of the week. One week later I call back on Monday he says that he's busy and that the engine should be out by Thursday. I call Thursday and he says that it's still not done probably sometime next week. This place is best for tax fraud, no sales tax collected by Eli and Alex. They don't give you any VIN reference for sold parts so you never know... you may be buying stolen parts. Liars thieves and scum bags. They over charge for garbage parts. Everything they sell is listed as an A grade. They sold me bad air compressor, then refused to give me money back. They later said they sold the same air compressor again and that the customer said it worked fine... if it worked fine why would I drive 30+ miles to bring it back? They gave me in store credit for the compressor. Then when I went back to use it in an attempt to get some use out of my already lost $ they refused to take the in store credit. The kid who signed the in store credit receipt said he forgot to write 30 days only on the paperwork and that they can't accept the credit if it has been more than 30 days. I called in again on a headlight, he said it was A grade no damage. This part is for an insurance job at my shop and has to absolutely be an A grade part. When I got there the part was damaged, two broken tabs. The child behind the counter argued with me that it was still a good part and he wanted $125 for it. I walked out.
