We ordered a bottle of wine quickly and had a very attentive server. 90 minutes later the bottle of wine is almost gone and our entrees are not here. I will update as we make it through the meal. Update 1: The food came out as I hit send. The cook on the meat was very correct. However, the rack of lamb came out lukewarm to room temperature. Presentation was beautiful, but seemed to be too long rested. Sides on the plate (white bean puree and the vegetables) came out to correct temp. The plate was returned and came back with the comment the puree was supposed to be chilled. Understood, but the lamb was not warm. The kitchen solution was to use a warm jus. The filet came out correct cook and great presentation. Very flavorful. Wine selection is well done and well-priced. The server, Olivia, was lovely and did a wonderful job attending to us. My partner's mixed green salad had one mushroom, thinly sliced, not marinated definitely. It was just a bunch of arugula with pine sprinkled on top of it. 4. The vegetable portage soup was actually good. 5. The bread was fine too 6. The tomato salad thin was basically a big slice of tomato with some other stuff on top of it. Only the pickled strawberries were good. But if you want tomato juice get that salad 7. The brannzino was a whole fish. Okay that sounds interesting and looked good. But wait, they didn't give separate plates for deboning it. Cherry on top-also took away the cutlery after the last course. So no cutlery, no plate, and no deboning skills in their regular amateur customer. That's was fun. 8. Lamb chops were under seasoned and unevenly cooked and fatty. 9. The bier garten is constantly voted one of the best in the conference and depending on the time of year you visit it may be filled with cozy igloos, roaring bonfires or like today, just a awesome summer vibe. The staff are always friendly, the food gets better every time we visit and the beer is delicious! The focaccia with corn was fabulous and butter with honey is way better than previous iterations of butter with olives??? Nobody wants that. Service got off to a very delayed start, but once our server found a rhythm, things got back on track and the rest of the evening flowed much better. It feels like Riverside is beginning to settle into what it wants to be rather than chasing something they're not, and that's encouraging to see. We've been waiting for that. We decided against saying anything because there was salt and pepper at the table and that helped a little. I also added at least two tbsp of hot sauce. When we got the bill, I paid quickly after skimming it on their little handheld payment device. It wasn't until I was reviewing the bill later than I realized they added on a whole additional sandwich charge. I know servers are busy and it was probably an honest mistake but still frustrating for the bill to be wrong. I called the restaurant and they were nice about it but I had to call multiple times for them to look into it and their voicemail is completely full. I had returned home so it was not possible for me to go in person to resolve the situation. The restaurant is still in progress of resolving the situation so if they do, I will update my review and add a star for service.

Nice shades table at this time with great breeze on the riverfront/marina area. We all ordered fresh fish with half of getting the almond Whitefish ($30) and it was outstanding! One BIL got the New Orleans Whitefish ($33) and the other BIL got the Whitefish tacos ($21) and it was unanimous...everyone loved the food. What really made our night special was our server Julie! She was super friendly, fun, helpful and very prompt. She is a precious asset for the restaurant!
