I've been to this place twice in over a year. The first time was about a year ago. I was pregnant and ordered my avocado burger and added bacon. When I got home I realized the bacon was missing. As you can imagine this was devastating for a pregnant woman. I came here again two weeks ago to give it another chance. After the drive through I had to park and wait--no problem. The girl brought out the food and I said it's all here? She answered yes. Thankfully I checked and I was missing my son's meal.I went back in to tell them. I haven't been to farmer boys in so long, I pass this location all the time but just never stopped to eat. I saw a sign for a good price breakfast so I thought to try it out and :))))) it was sooo good! My chicken sandwich was seriously so good and I got half fries/half fries zucchini those things are massive and were super good!! Everything was great, the pancakes the french toast. Great location, easy on and off the freeway, lots of parking, close to many other retail locations, clean restrooms, and dining area. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. . The staff is super nice, and of course the food was perfectly prepared. I stopped in on a drive from LA to San Diego as it's been too long since I have enjoyed a Farmer Boys burger. Stopped by to grab dinner really quick, luckily for us, there was nobody in the drive thru since we were running behind. Never had a bad experience or meal at any of the Farmers Boys. Went thru drive thru and ordered a California BLT which has avacado on it and onion rings to take home and split with my wife. Onion rings great as usual but the sandwich had only 2 scrawny pieces of bacon not crisp and slice of tomato you could read the menu through. And only 2 small slivers of avacado. From the moment we walked in until we left every single person who worked there were amazing and welcoming. We stopped by on our way to OC for a quick bite and so glad we did. Not sure I would recommend this place. This was a place for my kids to grab breakfast but lately the food quality has been down hill. Every other time I come in the mess up on my order. Stopped at this lake elsinore location at 9:30 in the morning for breakfast on my way to Temecula. After waiting for 25 minutes for a combo breakfast ( eggs,sausage and hash browns ) i asked 2 employees to check on my order. They never got back to me. My order finally showed up. This trip I ordered my usual breakfast burrito (no meat), fries with ranch plus the veggie burger. It's been years since I had the veggie burger from here, it's one of the OGs in that before Beyond, Impossible or the trend of adding plant-based options to your menu, Farmer Boys was one of the restaurants that had one and it was always a patty with veggies you could recognize. I'll admit, back then their veggie burger wasn't my fav. I was wanting something more processed. But this trip, I said why not. It was really refreshing and quite delicious actually way better than I remember. The burrito was a bit filling but just how I remember. I come here for lunch on occasion. Everyone is usually great but when I was there about a week ago it was not so pleasant. The manager was yelling and cussing at a server. This server was helping a customer while wiping tables and bringing out food. She was a young girl, so I can only imagine how she felt getting talked to like that in front of all the customers. What bad management. She was working and her customer service was great. Sorry you speak to your employees like this and in front of the customers. This girl did not deserve that. I asked for classic got a fiery had no pickles we had to go back to get a refund bc they completely forgot to make a breakfast platter for our order. Ordered through uber, much better experience than actually going to the restaurant. It only took like 30-40 mins to get our food, our driver came by super fast so the wait at the restaurant probably wasn't that long. All the food was super yummy, we got the cobb salad and a chicken wrap, both were delicious. They should try to get better ranch as the ranch was extremely watery. The only thing that didn't get to us okay was the fried Zucchini. since it was warm and stored in a sealed bag, it was kind of soggy :( i was looking forward to them but i should have known they wouldn't be as good as freshly made. cobb salad was enough for two small people to share and chicken wrap was HUGE as well. definitely want to keep trying this place, and will probably continue using uber to get it as the wait is always super long at the store. read more

The food here is yummy and always consistent. Not a super fan of the plastic silverware but not a deal breaker. The service is top notch. There's a young lady who works at the counter and she is so pleasant, comes around with coffee and offers it to go. The manager and other workers come around to ask how the meal is which just adds to the customer service. The bathroom is clean enough although I do wish they would replace the toilet seat that people have decided to tag on by engraving it. Hard to maintain I'm sure. But what was of interest to us, was their sandwiches and salads. They offer a huge Cobb salad, made fresh. They also have avocados chunks in their guacamole spread, which they use on their various sandwiches. It make them unique in my opinion. None of the this watered down blender stuff, mixed beyond all recognition. We tried the Classic Chicken sandwich with four huge Zucchini sticks. The chicken was good, but the zucchini was just a little bland. The Sourdough Grilled Chicken with Guacamole was very tasty. They do seem to be a very busy place, both inside and in the Drive-Thru. My boyfriend had been telling me about this place for a while and I finally decided we should go. I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant looked clean and was surprised by the amount of stuff on the menu. I just expected burgers lol! The wait wasn't too long and we got our food nice and hot. I was amazed by the size of the onion rings and zucchini fries! The zucchini was the size of my forearm!
