Stopped by today. Besides it being over priced for a burger meal and a sandwich for $18. I had a chicken avocado sandwich and it was good but after I took a bite I noticed that the chicken was still raw. The meat was not cooked all the way being that it was still pink. Also, it was a pretty thin piece of chicken in the sandwich. I took it to the front to get a new one and you'd expect for one of the workers to at least take a little more action than just getting another one made like it wasn't a big deal. Although the workers weren't rude at all, I could potentially get sick from this. If the chicken was bad or contaminated... oh goodness! I'd be in and out of the bathroom and bed for quite some time. Went hear for breakfast on my way from the Bay Area to Fresno. I pulled off the freeway thinking I'd find a Burger King. I'm glad I didn't. Found this place instead. From the lobby I could see the kitchen and the cook. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. I was thrilled when I saw the cook crack the eggs and fry up the bacon AFTER I ordered. The food was good, hot and FRESH. I'd love to stop by for lunch someday. read more

Not enough time to go back to reclaim our order, I called thinking that we might get an apology, but instead, they just hang up on me! First time coming to Farmer Boys after a friend recommended it and I'm not too impressed. The restaurant is almost a hybrid of a sit down restaurant and a fast food joint. The prices are higher that the typical burger joint, close to Red Robin and chili's but the ambience is that of In-n-Out, KFC or McDs. The service is friendly, they serve your food to your table and the quality is ok however, they lack the quality service in cleanliness. I ordered the veggie burger and though the quality was good, the presentation was disappointing. they had a leaf of lettuce, a couple of pickles and I think some onions. They need to treat veggie burgers and a regular burger, with at least with 2 leaves of lettuce, tomatoes and onions. It's a burger and they need to treat it like a burger. The dining area had utensils and straws on the floor, though they did clean the tables once a customer leaves the establishment. Overall I could not give any higher than 3 stars. Will I visit again? Sure. I want to taste the quality of their other items on the menu. My rating may go higher with further experience. read more

I used to come here all the time, haven't been in a while, and now I remember why. A simple order of bacon and eggs with hash browns and white toast for me, bacon eggs and toast for my son, and hearty farmers club in a lettuce wrap for my wife. My wife and son get their meal way before me. Mine finally arrives and the manager says the toast is coming. After attempting to eat the partially cooked bacon I turn to the eggs and hash browns. That and the iced tea were the only good thing about my food. I had to go and ask the manager for my toast, as she is holding a cigarette in her hand behind the counter. Finally got my cold toast. Ok, the food is good Prices are fine The service is great But the plates are dirty, the black stain on the white plates is grease and old food stains probably from days, months or years who knows. We were on our way to the Ice Cream Company for dinner but ended up stopping here. The cashier (Adrianna) was very helpful, even suggested we download the app so we could save $5. She also showed us how to scan our receipt to get credit for today's purchase. ($5 off for every $60 spent.) Husband and son ordered burger combos, other son ordered french toast breakfast (he loved how much cinnamon it had), and I had the southwest chicken salad...huge! Got a large order of zucchini to share...also huge! Total was about $42 (with the $5 off), which is a bit pricey for fast food, but we all loved it, so we'll definitely be back! About 8 minutes later, our meal was brought out. I quickly regretted ordering the large zucchini...it was perfect for 4 people to share, but only two of us were eating it. I ended up bringing half of the salad and some zucchini home. Next time I'll order the zucchini sliced (cashier offered it, but I wanted to try the spears). They were good, just a little firm for my liking. The service was great as well. Our cashier brought out extra napkins and checked on us twice. I noticed they had a spicy burger called the Barn Burner and let me tell you it didn't disappoint! Just the right amount of spice and can taste the flavor , loved it. I used to really like this place a lot, it's gone down hill the past 2 months. I order food and it either comes wrong, or it's always missing something. I always order the lettuce wrapped burgers hoping they will finally do it right this time. Nope...can't even do that right even when I walk in and the cashier specifically tells the cook lettuce wrapped burger last night was the last straw, I will never eat here again. Husband got off from working a 12 hour shift that's an hour away from our home. Ordered a lettuce wrapped 100% all natural avocado, bacon burger...came with a bun and was still raw in the middle!! The onion rings are not really salted, but the dipping sauce makes up for this. Sometimes, the rings are a little greasy, but dabbed with a napkin, this is easily taken care of. We stopped at Farmer Boys on our way out of town, normally super yummy food. The cashier was polite, not many people in the restaurant but our food still took a long time, no big deal because we have no problem waiting for fresh food. THE PROBLEM was as we sat in the restaurant waiting for our food the manager walks out of the bathroom and walks to the counter where the food sits waiting to be delivered to our table. Being as hungry as I was I watched her with excited eyes in hopes my food would soon be in my belly.
