Came thru drive Thur 8:55 pm got my food at 9:15. Got home across town and they forgot 2 burgers. Called they said to com back. Went all the way back across town got there at 9:45pm drive thru closed off my wet floor signs. Back up to go inside and the doors are all locked open sign turned off. My husband banged on door. Someone walked to the door and said they would let him in the side door. Walk around to be let in. As I'm sitting in the truck waiting 6 cars have pulled in and turned around cause well they are closed 15min early. Weird. Got our food and leaving never coming back. Maybe the Heavy set girl with the braids should not put the Bell in her back pocket and walk around shaking her butt making it ring and the other drive thru girl worrying about her eye brows then maybe I would have got all my food I waited 20min for in the drive Thur in the first place. Not usually a fast food fan, but stopped by here yesterday for something quick on the way home. Ordered their Farmer burger. The person with me ordered the same thing, but without cheese. Food was very good, but you will have to wait a bit. They cook every order from scratch. Fries were crispy and very tasty. Menu is extensive and they have full breakfast items as well. The interior was well appointed and clean. The employees were courteous. I also liked that you have full view of the cooking area. Almost didn't feel like fast food at all. Sans ordering at the counter. The place seemed informal enough with seating, but the kitchen seemed spacious, and I liked the difference. The cashier was obviously very busy but she was still considerate and nice when taking my order and answering any questions. Another thing that impressed me is that the lady cooking my food who seemed like she was the manager, came out and confirmed the tweak to my food I had requested to the cashier while ordering. I was impressed that she cared enough to not slop through it in an 'Ohhh well! They can just send it back', manner. Then when my food was brought to me I asked what people usually eat with their crispy zucchini since it was a new concept to me. Her response was warm and personable. I've come here twice and both times the customer service was great and so was the food. First time I got the Farmer Burger, which was delish because of the avocado. Second time I got the Bacon Boy, which was pretty much the same as the Farmer Burger but without the avocado. It is on the pricier side of fast food joints ($17 for two combos) but the quality of service is also much better. Can't wait to go back and try the other items on the menu. Try it! read more

Visited today. There was one car in front of me, already at the window waiting for their order. When I pulled behind it I heard the drive thru worker apologizing for the wait. I knew it was gonna be a while. After waiting about 20 min for my chili burger, fries and a drink the worker was very kind and apologized to me. I looked inside and it didnt seem busy. The chili wasnt good. The burger was what I would expect from a fast-food joint. The produce (lettuce, tomatoe) wasnt very good. I don't think any fast food restaurant can top the quality at Farmer Boys. Us Californians love our In-n-Out, but this is seriously better. Burger and fries were fresh and made quickly, and more than enough to split between the two of us (though I could have happily eaten the whole thing myself). We made an unscheduled lunch stop here when our car broke down on the freeway and passed several hours sipping drinks and enjoying our burger and fries. I am giving this place 2 stars. Because they sent out coupons, I wanted a bread bowl soup, they were out of bread bowls, then I asked if their pastrami was hot, NO the lady said. So I settled on zucchini sticks and my husband got a Denver omlet which he liked. The lady should of told me the sticks were huge, she did not. They are so big and so thick I only ate 4 of them. Ended up stopping here while on a drive, for a fast food place they have surprisingly good food way better than a McDonalds or Burger King. They are kind of like a fusion between a Dennys and a burger fast food joint. Apparently they are big in the LA area and this is one of the few farther north. I will NOT return. The service was horrible. We went to dine in, and ordered 4 meals and got them all at different times. You would think if we are sitting together we would want to eat at the same time. The breakfast plate had toast with it that did not come out until the meal was almost gone. I find myself in Ceres on an early Saturday morning. Stopping only to use the bathroom, I emerged renewed and with hunger. I browse the menu and decide on the California omelette. It wasn't that great, very thin and not much in it. It had some bacon and it was sprinkled with cheese. Hash browns we're good but the sliced avocado was amazing. The most delicious avocado I've had in quite some time. The place has a fast food feel with diner quality food. I like that all the tables come equipped with all the condiment essentials: salt pepper, ketchup, tapatío, Tabasco and more. I feel it is a little pricey for what they serve but not unreasonable.
