So if you know me then you know that I love the tiramisu cake from this place. I had this cake at a party once and tracked down where the cake was from. The cake isn't super sweet but it's very moist. It has a more understated sweetness to it, there is perfect amount of cream in it to keep the cake moist. If you like a super sweet cake this isn't the cake for you but for my cake lovers that love cream and amazing textures this is the cake for you! It can be inconsistent and I've had it a few times where the cake was dry and not too good but I always still come back. The price is about $4 I think (kind of expensive for the amount you get) and the place is always packed with screaming annoying kids but I usually get everything to go. I'm food lover, not a kid lover lmao. They have other good Arabic sweets and fro yo but I usually stick to this cake and this cake only! Hopefully you guys like it too! read more

This cake/dessert shop has been our go to for our kids' birthday cakes for years. Every single time we ask for a specific design, no matter how involved or intricate it may be, they make it and it turns out exactly the way we wanted. On top of that, everything they make is delicious. My most recent purchase from them was even above and beyond all of that. We ordered a cake a week ahead, and picked it up the day before our child's birthday. Thinking we knew by now how to transport a multilayer cake, we didn't quite transport it as level in the car as we should have. By the time we were home, half of the top layers had slid and the cake was no longer the masterpiece they had made. I called them immediately and asked if they could make another one by the next morning. They understood my situation and agreed to make another one. The next morning I picked up the second cake and even with the limited time they had, it was as beautiful as the first one they had made. The cake looked and tasted excellent and our guests were able to take extra home with them from the first cake as well. Thank you Farhat Sweets for always making it a good experience. read more

Are used to love this place when it was in the old location, but since they moved across the street, their service is horrible very rushed and everything you buy is rushed work and does not taste the same. I used to always buy about five or six chrome ballet at a time when I come there and they will automatically torch it with his sugar and fruit and whip cream for six dollars each so ever since they moved to the new location, I buy the same thing and they charge the same but they didn't even add the sugar or anything, and I have to ask them one by one to do each step in which it was already charged for. And when I bought it, three of them were not even cooked fully where it was still raw tasting it, and was not smooth at all. So I went again two days later, and even though they were not busy, I still had to go through the same thing and ask for each step in which I don't know why they just try to rush you out and thinking that they don't need to do it. So even if you go there, I suggest you guys, make sure you look at your sweets before you take them home BTW, I bought the cake slices and they are a lot sweeter than what they used to be read more

The bakery is amazing! So much variety. I usually get all my cakes done from there for every occasion. The vanilla cake filled with custard and fruit is my family's favorite. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the customer service. It's so frustrating when you tell them to say something on the cake and they put something else. And then when u tell them to change it it takes forever and is always rushed. Also the wait time is annoying. There is no system for who came first and who didn't. So lots of times I have had to wait longer and get into a little fuss with those who have been helped before me even though they came later. All in all great place if you have the patience! The display case is MASSIVE and filled with the most beautiful pastries. I swear many looked like works of art because they were impeccably done. There were a lot of what I assume are typical Middle Eastern sweets, but also plenty of more traditional "American" items like cookies, cake slices, cup cakes, and tarts. There were also trendier items like French macarons and filled cronuts (cross between a donut and a croissant) as well as self-serve frozen yogurt and a topping bar. The place is immaculately clean and looks like it has been recently remodeled. I would much rather give this place no acknowledgement. However, I feel the community/public should know. My daughter and her son visited this place the day of their grand opening, earlier in the year in Feb, the place was nice...but upon entering the store...no one spoke nor acknowledged them. The staff continued to assist EVERYONE else, all Chaldean customers, but looked over two young adults (one Black and one White). When they told me that they were standing there for about 20 minutes before leaving and patronizing a more deserving establishment. I was very shocked. Even more shocked to have gotten a recommendation to visit her a few weeks ago. Well, needless to say this place only welcomes chaldean or maybe Arabic customers. I visited with a few co workers, both White and Black...we stood there for more than enough time and was never greeted. We decided to go somewhere else. I will continue to make sure everyone I work with, and come in contact with knows to avoid this place at all cost. This place has been around for someone. It was just pastries and a cake shop but a few months ago they blew out an extension! They now have froyo!! They also have cronuts.. their carrot cake is AMAZING! If you check in with yelp you can get 10% off your bill which is nice! I met the owners son.. he was really nice and helped me out a bit.. I was here last weekend on Sunday and I got me a slice of the Nutella cake and I asked the guy for a bubble waffle and he had the audacity to tell me "it's too busy I can't make it for you" I'm like what? You can't make it because it's busy???? He was like yeah. I found this very funny, mind you there were about 6 or 7 other workers surrounding him. I just found it funny how he just brushed me off, he could've lied about it or something and not tell me "we're too busy". I ended up talking to one of the sweet girls and got a sushi boat crepe to go. Everything they have is tasty & we've gotten wedding cakes from them before. I started coming here 7 years ago on a weekly basis because they had one of the best sweets and customer service available in this area. The only reason i gave it a three star is because the young short gentleman thats always there in the front has a really bad customer service skills and attitude. This place just isn't the same anymore. Their used to be these two lovely ladies that worked there. They were so nice and knowledgeable and they aren't there anymore :(. Since then , the customer service is just so bad. I don't know where they get these employees from but they honestly have zero skill in dealing with people. The order is wrong most of the time and they are always distracted with everything besides the customer. When inside the bakery their ordering process is a nightmare. Not worth the wait.
