You should know they charge $3 delivery but do not mention it when you place your order. It is a small amount but I find it less than honest. The food was ok but the Orange Beef was a very poor quality beef. Soup was good , scallion pancakes were good and and the House Fried Rice was good, chow mein was good and the lo mein was good. As with all take out nowadays no longer affordable as this order was over $80 and all were ordered in the smaller pint size and not the quart size. read more

Food used to be better I ordered roast pork lo mein no roast pork in the lo mein or at least very little. Was expensive Had to search to find it. Way too much sauce was all over the bag on the container no care taken all over my car seat. People in there are not pleasant. I was extremely disappointed. I had remembered this place being fabulous years ago. read more

I have such a hard time finding chinese restaurants that have good general tso/sesami chicken. Usually it is always really stringy, or hard. The chicken today was delicious I had to leave a review. It tasted fresh and was fantastic. The sauce was great and so was the rice. I got the lunch combo and overall I would recommend. Only reason I took off a star is because there was not a lot of broccoli. Definitely the best general tso I have had in a while. read more

People were really nice, but must be new owner. Food was not even close to as good as it used to be and I've been going for 15 years, place still looks the same but food wise it is way different. The shrimp rolls literally soaked the bag with grease and the lo mein barely had any beef and noodles were shorter, call it picky but this food just is no where how it was even a couple months ago. Used to be the greatest Chinese spots around read more

Far east kitchen is a filthy restaurant with atrocious service. I found a rusty screw in my chicken lo mein. I called to complain and ask for a refund. I didn't get so much as an apology and was told I would need to dig my food out of the garbage and return it to the restaurant to prove I didn't eat it all to get a refund. In addition, half of the staff was not wearing masks when they were cooking the food. I would recommend you steer clear of this restaurant. read more

This is a take out place, not a sit down restaurant. The prices are inexpensive. As for quality, it's OK, I have pretty high standards though. I got a pint of wonton which was too salty, the wontons inside were tough and there were no extras in the soup, like pork pieces, scallions, greens - all the other things that make the soup tasty. The eggroll was delicious - hard to mess that up. I got Fried Dumplings (or raviolis, depending on where you get them) one of my favorites, they were decent but not anything to get excited about, they lacked flavor. Then I got Egg Foo Young - which I rarely order - it was OK, they stuffed the 3 patties in a box instead of a flat container, not a big deal, it came with a ton of gravy (1/2 pint). That's a hard one to judge since it's probably been 10 years since I've had it. BTW - I got all that for $20. I'm still on a search for really good chinese in the area. read more

Been eating here for 20 years. Clean delicious and friendly. One of the only Chinese Restaurants I trust.

My least favorite Chinese food place on Long Island. The food is just okay I and my parents generally order from here if my parents don't feel like cooking or want something different. They are truly stingey , even when you spend a lot with them, there are no freebies. You barely get 3 duck sauce for an order meant to feed 4 or 5 people. Furthermore most Chinese takeout restaurants will give you a free soda or two. read more

This place used to be good but has gone down hill in past few years I've been eating here for over 20 years and wouldn't return if not for my wife liking their ginger sauce for steamed dumplings but as another reviewer stated they are stingy you have to ask for sauces and practically beg for hot mustard which they now seem to cut with water. They conveniently forget to add white rice that comes with dinners if you ordered fried rice and when you call them on it they try and get you to take a small portion. I also feel that the quality of their food has dropped severely their pork and beef are poor cuts very fatty and their deep fried items like egg rolls or fried wantons are often either over fried or the oil is not hot enough and food saturated in oil and always oil is dirty you can taste it in the food I personally think ho Ming kitchen down the block is ten times better but this is to often where my wife orders her dumplings from. If it were up to me I would never order here again read more
