I went here for what I thought would be a relaxing treat, but it was anything but. I got the $48 pedicure with a gel French tip, and I regret every dollar I spent. First, there was no wait, which should have been my first red flag, now I know why. The water they used for my pedicure was ice cold and premade. It was as if the water was made for someone else and left there from before. The pedicure itself was rushed and sloppy. It felt like they didn't care at all, they barely scrubbed, the massage was nonexistent, and my feet honestly looked the same when I left as when I walked in. On top of that, the gel French tip looks uneven and already has tiny bubbles in it. I could have done a better job myself at home for free. Save your time and money, I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I got dip powder after having acrylics so my nails were pretty weak and Normally nail salons I've been to would still be hard on them and they would hurt from how thin they were but Steven didn't file too much and he did such a great job! I normally have to ask my tech to file them so that they don't look super thick with the dip but I didn't even have to ask and they look incredible! Definitely coming back! read more

Lonnie is by far the best nail tech I've ever had in my life!!! She is the only person that can give me a gel manicure that lasts 4 WEEKS! YES, FOUR!!! Typically they last less than 2 when I get them done anywhere else. It's insane how she is able to clean up my cuticles without tearing them up or making them bleed. She is so talented and gentle! Awful experience! I came in with acrylic nails that needed to be taken off and just wanted a regular manicure. She used the grinder for 30 secs then took a new acrylic nail to dig underneath the nail and try to pry my nail off. Which hurt! I told her there is another way to do this so it doesn't hurt and she grabbed alcohol in a bowl and told me to put my nails in it and then walked away. She was gone for over 10 minutes when my friend went to look for her and she was in the back eating her lunch. She then came back and said normally you have to soak them for an hour? Then she asked if I wanted to lay before and I said no because I wanted to see how my nails came out and she argued with me until I told her my friend could grab my card so my nails wouldn't get messed up. I tried multiple nail salons after moving to Rock Hill and Fantasy Nails is definitely my favorite. The technicians are very friendly and the owner makes a point to always ask how you are doing and calls you by name. Just hearing your name and being singled out makes the whole experience a little more personable. The only negative thing I have to say is that my regularly scheduled 2 week gel fill in price always seems to fluctuate depending on who is ringing up my bill (for example; one week I went and my gel fill in for french tips was $33 and then 2 weeks later the same service was $37). Overall, I think the job they do on your nails is worth the price! read more

I got a full set of acrylic nails from Sam. I was so happy with them. Nearly 3 weeks later they still look GREAT. My French polish is still flawless. I don't think it really needs done yet but I leave for SD and I want Sam to do my nails again, I had a set put on a week before I went to Sam from a posh shop off Cherry and it was soooooo bad I took them off. Worst set of nails I ever had. The wife owner helped explain the difference of powder nails, (gel nails) which ended up what I absolutely did not want, I also got my brows and lip waxed. Hands down the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Tina was the lady that started my pedicure. She was filing my nails and cut me twice with the nail file (I have had this happen before and it's no big deal, it more so just startled me). Instead of saying sorry she aggressively told me she did not and that I was not telling the truth. She then threw her hands up and stopped my pedicure. My mom comes here a lot (she was with me at the time) and she was in complete shock by her behavior. After her aggressive behavior I asked her to let me get up and I walked out. The owner who was very nice and walked me out to apologize but I truly did not know what to say....NEVER go to Tina! read more

This was my first visit to this nail salon after being recommended by a friend. I went in with dip powder on my nails and explained and showed that one nail had cracked, it cracked my real nail underneath it wasn't just the powder. The nail technician soaked off the powder and began on my new set, I asked her if it was okay to redo the nail that had broke (I am a licensed cosmetologist and I know the nail needs time to heal) I explained that I was okay with it if that one nail couldn't be done and she continued and told me it was okay.. The nail technician did file my skin under my nail and I pulled back saw that she was doing it and continued to file without a polishing and just ignored the situation. I'ved received lots of compliments on my nails however there's two spots that are darker (unintentional) but I can understand that as it's a hard technique to do. My overall experience was okay but I spent almost 2 hours at the salon and for it to take that long I expected a little bit more. read more
