I have never made a yelp review but today is the day. When I tell yall to run away, please do. If I could give a -1 I would. I came here, a new and trusting individual. I just wanted a full set and some regular polish. The service was nice, and then when I got to the cashier, my total was not what was listed. When I asked why my total was higher than I estimated, they informed me that they were charging me for services I did not ask for, and offered $5 off an over charge of well over $20. I was, and still am livid. I will never... ever be coming here again and if you like to keep your money and not be cheated I suggest you do the same. *and my nails do not look like they are worth $60 either The pictures I am submitting are from just 20 minutes after they financially bamboozled me. I don't know who to call, or what to do but these people need to be stopped!!! read more

They should have less than 1 star. Horrible experience....had a mani...pedi a few weeks ago...will never return...where to start....lady who did my nails was more interested in her phone and looking around than my nails....filed my skin...most nails came out crooked and uneven..was rushed off to pedicure chair before my finger nails were polished leaving me to ask several times if she was going to actually finish which she did standing next to the pedicure chair again looking everywhere but my nails. Horrible polish application with streaks. Pedicure done by different tech....every nail uneven .... One foot looked trimmed other did not...impossible to ask them to fix anything as they pretend to not hear ya or understand you. No way to treat a first time customer...guess they get enough business and didn't need one more custome4.. Polish chipped off after 2 days....when removing their cheap polish...my nails were stained pink...after attempted to soak off the stains for 30 minutes i had to buff it off with a file. Was in town because my daughter was moving into Winthrop University and I had some down time first glance beautiful establishment they were quick to get my husband and I seated and immediately waited however the services did not match the ambience..... we both received pedicures and it was rushed my polish didn't even last 3 days ... Well my experience wasn't that bad. I have only ever gotten a gel manicure on my fingers but I decided I would try dip. I had no idea what to expect or the process. Well my sister and I get in there and they immediately begin on our pedicure. That was very quick. Then we get to the pedicure I ask for dip and their faces drop. I don't know if I said it wrong or what. So the lady begins on my nails. This is where I get kind of annoyed. So about three years ago I cut off the tip of my finger. So when she filling she notices it, and let's the woman beside her see and they laugh together.... hurtful. So once we finally begin the process the woman clearly doesn't know how to do it because every next step she had to ask the woman beside her what to do. I have been going here for over 2 years. I can say at first after reading reviews I was skeptical, but went for myself. I always get my lashes, pedicure and nails done here. Never disappointed. I have severe anxiety so when I come in someone is quick to service me. That let's me know they listened the first time and cared about me as a customer. When I messed up my nails (my fault) they still were willing to fix it for me. I haven't had disappoint yet. I have enjoyed the experience and will continue to go here.... read more

I rarely write a bad review but feel like maybe they can learn from this. First one of the ladies working there talked VERY loudly and forcefully the entire time. Not relaxing at all!! Now to the nail part... I had sns powder and picked a great color. It should have had a pink tone but was very orange looking. Almost all of my nails were shaped differently. I had to go home and refile them. In addition to that 6 out of 10 of them did not have a smooth finish. I am about people learning but someone should be checking behind them. Worst experience ever! I've been getting dip powder on my nails for years. Stopped in and they got me in right away. I had 3 nails still on- the nail technician removed them using an acrylic nail... OUCH. Told her I've never had them removed like they and she smiled. Asked for a manicure as well. Normally they put some type of solution, lotion, massage.. nope not here! Never did the manicure. Dip powder is $35... but mine cost $45 bc of the color I choose? I've always gotten a "first coat" that wasn't the color but more of a base coat... nope straight into the color. Very unsatisfied. If I am paying 42.00 for a pedi, I do not expect to leave your shop with peeling skin on my heels. My feet are not by any means on bad shape. But you tell me to come bk next time and upgrade and you will remove all skin. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more

They did a terrible job on my full set. 1. She cut two of my fingers. One bled. 2. The length of the nails are different from one hand to the other. 3. The nail polish is clumped up at the base of the nail. 4. The coat isn't evenly painted on the nail, resulting in it being really light at the top but dark at the bottom. I'm going to have to file down the uneven nail and repaint them. That's how bad they are. The place was also dirty. I will not be back. read more

I made an appointment for 4:00 for a one dip powder manicure which didn't begin until 4:55. Two people who came in after me without appointments were started before me. When the manicure began, my skin was cut several times. Every dip powder mani i have ever had at any other salon has sealed and dried with the UV light, but not here....not even when i requested it i was told no straight out. Now that I've left, I'm noticing color all over my skin. I pointed out twice as politely as i could that i had to be somewhere at 6 and i was told to wait, now i am rushing to get there by 6 with wet nails. I have been a customer to Bk for over an year now. & they Are very unprofessional and don't know how to run the shop. they had me waiting for a whole hour just sittiny at the nail table with Acetone buring my nails for a whole hour with no Aluminum foil or nothing. They didnt care when I told them I been waiting for a long time. after hour and 30mins he did my nails. they never ask me if I wanted something to drink when they asked others. I can go on and on telling y'all about my worst experience there but I'll save it and never so back again. read more

Do not walk, run away from this place!!! My daughter went in a week ago to get her nails done with Friends. $55 for acrylic nails and a pedicure. The nails were so horrible that I took my daughter back to get them corrected. The owner was very nice but she had the girl that messed up her nails to try and fix them. The nails are still horrible, no top coat either, not shaped correctly and press on nails look better!!! The lady fixing them was very rude to me and my daughter and even pushed her arm into my side to shove me out of the way before sitting down in front of my daughter and rudely grabbing her hand across the table! It was all I could do to contain myself and not punch this lady in the face and my daughter was very upset! I never saw the lady's face she had a black and white striped mask on. So, to sum up my experience, they are horrible and apparently physically abusive to their clientele. Do not use this place! If my daughter wasn't there with me, I would have punched the lady for putting her hands on me! read more

I've had my nails done here for years. During my last few visits I've heard customers complain about prices being different each time they come in. Yesterday I experienced the price switch. I always get an acrylic fill with gel polish, nothing more. I always want my nails cut down short from the length they've grown over the two weeks. I'm always charged $30 no matter who does my nails in the shop and most every time I leave $5 for tip. Yesterday the gentleman said $35. I asked the manager why the different price and she said because I got them cut down and that costs $5 extra. I reminded her that I'd been coming there for a long time and always get the same service. I showed her my cash app where I pay $35 each time. I even pointed out the technicians in the shop who had performed the same service on my nails the last few times and only charged $30. To no avail. Never did she say it was a new charge. I had been in just 10 days prior and charged $30. Beware of the price switch at this shop. read more

I have become a regular customer and I never thought I would have. When I first went in I waited for a good bit but they were still tentative to me making sure I got to see the different colors and had them ready for me when it came to getting my nails done. They are able to correct any bad manicure from other places and just bring a whole new meaning to your nails. I went in on a weekend to get a full set and a pedicure. My pedicire turned out fine but my set was a disaster. She did not listen to what I wanted amd had to fix it later, she cut three of my fingers and the acrylic was on my finger and off of my nail. I will not be going back. Busy Sunday and asked how long a wait for a pedicure. "Only 10 minutes". However, 20 minutes later, asked again, "Only 5 more minutes". After a 40 minute wait, still no customer service, so I left to not return. The salon is cramped with very strong chemical smelts. read more

Got my nails done this past Saturday at this nail shop. Notice yesterday the polish is coming off a couple of my nail. Keep in mind I got gel polish. Called today explained to a gentleman about my nails he said come when you get off and we will take care of it. I get to the shop and speak to I guess the owner she said that's not our fault, if we do it over you will have to pay. I told her don't worry about it because I won't be back. The lady who done my nails ran her mouth THE ENTIRE TIME I WAS GETTING MY NAILS DONE!! She cut my toenails and I didn't want them cut. my pedicure literally looks like my daughter could of done it!! If she was more focused on her job instead of trying to be funny about the customers she proably would of done a better job! Really nice clean place! Walked right in and got a chair. They literally spent an hour on toes and for only $25 you get your legs rubbed and heels scrubbed plus great polish job! I would definitely go back here! My only recommendation is I would of loved a glass of moscato! read more

Great price for a pedicure that seemed to last forever! She took her time, gave a great massage, made nice conversation and made my heals look amazing!! I have paid ten more dollars and have walked out wondering what I paid for. For $25 it is worth every penny you pay. I hesitated to write this review because I don't like to write anything negative. I went for a mani/pedi, my manicure was great but I got a pedicure too. I now have athletes foot from the pedicure. It's horrible I was shocked when the nail tech put the nail file into my foot bath to soak after doing my feet. I should've stuck with my gut feeling. I went to B & K Nail this afternoon for a manicure. I only had to wait a few minutes and the manicures is okay. The lady doing my manicure pulled the cuticle clippers out of her drawer and I wasn't sure if they had been sanitized after the last use. Once my manicure was complete and I was drying my nails my fear was confirmed. The clippers were probably not cleaned because while I was at the dryer she reached back over and picked up the same clippers and used them on the toes of the woman for whom she was doing a pedicure. I believe that all nail tools should be sanitized after EVERY use. For this reason I will not go back to B & K. read more

Came here with my sister, niece, daughter and myself for a girls afternoon. We all got pedicures minus my niece she is 4 she got her nails painted. My daughter,12, got her first set of nails. Gel powder with gel topcoat French tips. The next day one developed a huge crack in it. Then over night it broke off leaving a very jagged edge. I had to cut it so she did not scratch herself again like she did while she was sleeping. No time to get it fixed so I just told her we would get it fixed that weekend. Then another nail develops a crack and within the next day it broke too. This was a clean break so no cutting required. Came back that weekend to get it fixed to be told that it's not their problem. No reason a set of gel nails should break like that. I have kept my nails done the same way and for me to break one takes a lot of great force and it normally ends up bleeding from the force of it. Beware coming here. After the nail tech that did them gets told she has to fix them she then spends the time with my 12 year old in front of her telling her that it's my daughters fault and making her feel bad. read more
