Went there with my wife for pedi's and they put in zero effort. I was actually shocked they charged us $38 a piece. I understand my feet are rough which is whyI go (I also tip accordingly). My wife's experience was just as bad. My nails were barely clipped, zero scrubbing of heels, and the chair was subpar. I was so disappointed. read more

Sad to write this review.....Over the years I have gone to Fantasy Nails and it has been good.....not a weekly or even monthly "get my nails done person" Called up to get a Manicure and Pedicure appointment so I was not a walk in....woman who did the mani/Pedi seemed annoyed to even be waiting on me....she was annoyed if I even moved....I have ticklish feet....she was basically pissed off....then....with my fingernails....it was if she was trying to hurt me....literally made 2 of my fingers bleed. I ALWAYS tip well. After the pedicure I gave her a 20 dollar tip, before the nails....never smiled....seemed annoyed the whole time....I will NEVER go back again. read more

Loyal customer here for pedicures. In my experience it is the only pedicure in town (including another salon right over the border in Pembroke) that looks good for about a full month which is how often I like to go. The employees are friendly but won't force a conversation if you'd rather read tabloid magazines. Prices are competitive. I have not had good experiences with the quality of pedicure elsewhere! Only reason for four stars is because I don't get my nails done here and I know that is why most would be visiting. read more

I Love this nail salon. I have been going for several years. I periodically branch out and try other places but always come back to this salon as the people are very polite and respectful they're not blabbing away to their buddies through the whole manicure in another language which I appreciate. They will talk to you if you want to talk and be quiet if you want to be quiet. The salon is small, quiet and clean. Really my last gel manicure there was the best I have ever had. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but I want to save some people. I recently went to this nail salon because it was the closest to me at the time. (I usually have a few go to places). I got OPI Funny Bunny. I understand it's a white ish and light color but she barely put any nail polish on the brush and nothing was showing up! After two coats, she tried putting top coat on and I asked that she put more and she said that it was a light color. I get this color allll the time and know what it's supposed to look like. She reluctantly put another coat and again, barely any nail polish on the brush. I asked for another coat and again reluctantly, she put it on. Still basically see through. The nails just didn't look good, they were too light and messy. Not to mention, they chipped off less than a week later. I also got a pedicure and the next day noticed a deep cut on my heel and now it hurts to walk. So yeah, I hate doing this but I really do not recommend this place. read more

Fantasy nails is nothing fancy, but all & all, i consider myself a loyal customer in the summer (i'd go year-round but they're near my beach house). they have the massaging chairs & lots of gossip mags (i'd NEVER buy them, but hell, i'll read that trash if its just sitting there). i was a walk in for a fill in on my acrylics after being shut out by lux nails bar because over the phone they told me they were too busy to squeeze me in, so i tried fantasy nails, upon walking in i was warmly greeted, i decided to get my eyebrows waxed and was very pleased with the process and end result. the atmosphere is clean, light and bright. with a bowl full of lindt chocolates to help yourself to, to fun 80's music playing. it did seem a little short staffed and my fill in did not include any sort of massage. good place to go when you need something done on the fly. read more

I have been a loyal customer for awhile now; the workers are really amiable, zesty, and fun to talk to. The news, Family Feud, or sports games are usually on the TV, but if you're not a fan, there is always the magazines. They do great jobs, especially with my gel nails and acrylics. The salon is kid friendly and there's also a discount, which comes in handy when there's a group of them you have to bring (ugh). May I suggest booking an appointment a day/week beforehand during the summer? If you are lucky, they will (sometimes) manage to take you in. They are usually packed during that season, and i always try to squeeze in a visit when stopping by the beach with my girlfriends. Love this place and all the staff. I went in asking for an acrylic-powder base coat, but was told that was bad for my nails. Instead some liquid out of a bottle was used; I asked what it was and the answer was only "a nail-strengthener". But in less than 24 hours the enamel was chipping off and the nails were splitting -- all ten of them. The last time I had a split nail was about eight years ago, and never before have I had all ten nails split at the same time. Two of them down to the quick. After one trip to Fantasy Nails, my nails are in the worst condition they have been in my entire life. I am not exaggerating. read more

I do not recommend going here. The place is definitely not "fancy", and the staff aren't very welcoming or very talented. I've been here a few times for just manicures and they are never well done. The cost is average, but spend your money elsewhere for a more professional manicurist. read more

The only good thing about this place is the price. Fastest pedicure I've ever had, received a 60 second massage on one leg, 10 second on the other. Heels still have dry skin. Nails are not evenly painted. Chair was shaking and barely worked. Just bad! read more

Went here on my birthday for a long-overdue pedicure and wanted a full set of gel/acrylic nails. My mother booked the appointment for the 2 of us and she wasn't aware she needed to say "full set" so the male owner went through this rushed work on my hands thinking it's just a manicure and was about to start polishing them when I asked about the tips. He was very rude after that even though it was just a small mistake. Needless to say, the nails starting separating within days and a week later they were popping off and had fungus on 4 of my nails.
