I then requested our service which is one step up from the "normal" pedicure (I think they call it the cozy pedicure) and they had the audacity to say "how about next time, we're busy". Ummm no - we have appointments, you overbooked yourselves. That is not how you treat paying customers. I simply said "no we will leave" and I walked out with wet feet. I will never return. They lost a loyal customer today! Too many nail places around to receive that kind of treatment as a regular.

I found Nails From The Heart on Yelp and called for an appointment. She was booked for the day but had a 9:00 a.m. appointment today which I took. She did an excellent job on my French manicure. I didn't want gel because my nails are long, thick and healthy. She asked me about the length and i told her I liked the length, she didn't take any off, she actually listened to me. I had previously been a smoker so my nails were discolored, she buffed them all out and I now have nice white nails to go with my healthy lungs. She did a beautiful freelance painting of the French manicure and I left there very happy. She is so personable and kind. I can't wait to go back for my pedicure. It was refreshing to be in a salon where you felt welcomed, not rushed and was able to communicate with the specialist. I highly recommend Penny. Thanks Penny!
