Bliss Nail Lounge - Gel nails. Perfect length - Nail Salons Near Me - Whitman, Massachusetts

I have gone to M Nail Bar religiously pre and post Covid without issues. I love all their new renovations and how clean it is. I went in on 7/23 to get a gel manicure for a wedding I had that night. An hour after leaving ,my nail polish on one finger completely peeled off. I ran back quickly and got it fixed at no charge. I left for my cape vacation the next morning and the same thing happened to 2 more nails. I'm not able to go in to get them fixed since I'm away. I also don't feel like I should have to run over to the salon every day to fix the next peeled nail. I asked the salon for a refund ($33) so I could go get my nails redone down here and they refuse. They said they would give me a discount when I come back, which is totally unacceptable as I want to get my nails done during this vacation without paying again. I hate to write anything negative about a small business during these times but I tried to work with them via phone and text to get the issue resolved and now I'm just being ignored. I would have hoped they would stand by their work. When I initially spoke to someone via Facebook, they essentially blamed my nail type (?) for the problem. i'm really not asking for much, as I just want my $33 refunded. I explained that he could keep the tip, I just feel the service should be refunded as I got less than 12 hours with all my nails done. read more

Got a mani pedi here- classic pedicure and dip ombré nails for $80. The girl who did my nails was so polite and did a great job. The outside of the building was rough but inside was so nice and updated- I assume they rent the building or haven't had enough to redo outside. Don't judge a book by its cover! Inside was very clean- they use plastic covers for the pedicure station and new tools for each person. My ombré dip came out really nice. read more

I came here for the first time MONTHS ago and when I walked in the door, Maggie and Loan remembered me. Loan had me and my girlfriend cracking up! She's so funny and does an awesome job. The decor is handmade by Maggie and the atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. I work my ass off at my job and when I get my nails done, I can't stand a loud salon with the techs and customers talking on their phone and people's kids crying. The pedicure chairs are clean and spacious. The staff work hard and are friendly and communicative with your needs. I got my eyebrows done too and they are perfect! I got a full set stiletto bright yellow nails and matching pedicure. I'm picky about shape and color. The variety of colors they have is just what I'm looking for. They also let you pay and tip with Venmo which is great for me because I never have cash. This place is a true gem. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. I looked at their service menu when I got there and selected what I wanted. it should have cost me less than $100 for my entire service (nails and pedi). They charged extra for "special shape" aka oval... "long nail" literally not longer than my natural nails (pic to show length and shape) and $30 to paint flowers on my nails. NONE of this was properly advertised on their menu OR communicated. $100 for JUST my nails. When I asked at check out why the price was so high I was given the excuse of "that's our rules". When I said it's not listed on their service menu I was shown a new updated menu ... that was only on the register- not posted anywhere. AWFUL. read more

I love this place. Everytime anyone here does my nails they stay on for months, great service & very nice & clean. I love it!

So..I went here to try something new. I walk in and said I wanted a fill and I was going to do a French. The guy doing my nails says "white tip?" Now I can't really understand him because of the language barrier..but I do know I said I wasn't a fan of gel ( I'll get to the) but he took my brand new acrylics off..I had just had them put on so it hurt a lot..puts these white tip acrylics on..I should have said something but I figured he would make them look okay. I've never been more upset about nails in my life. Nothing about them looks okay and I paid $40 when all I wanted was a fill and a French tip...it is a very clean salon but I will not be back..also he ended up doing gel.... read more

Bliss Nail Lounge - This is how I left..will be returning to calming lotus from now on and getting these fixed before my cruise on Friday ‍ - Nail Salons Near Me - Whitman, Massachusetts

Great experience. Staff was quick and thorough the visit was pleasant. Will definitely return .

Came here because of a recommendation from a friend! I got a full set and pedicure done here. The staff is very welcoming! This is an element of a nail salon that really makes it or breaks it for me. I was treated very well!! My nails came out beautiful and in a timely fashion... I am impressed! I'd like to say also that the staff is incredibly hardworking. I will definitely come here regularly now! read more

Their customer service was pretty good . But when I got home I had to repaint most of my toe nails he didn't get the sides and one big toe smudged twice ( I have never smudged a nail ) wasn't necessarily their fault but I hate when my nails have unpainted sides which happens pretty often unfortunately. 65 dollars plus tip I shouldn't have to redo anything . I get my nails done maybe twice a year so it's a pretty big deal to go . I would still recommend them their decor and customer service was definitely good . read more

I've been going to this salon for almost a year. up into l about a month ago, they have done amazing work on my acrylic nails. just recently one of the times I got my nails done they didn't give them time to dry and my nailpolish pealed off. For christmas I got two 25$ gift cards for M Nail Bar. I was gonna use them and have that be my last time. for one I was waiting for 15 minutes while the worker was just on her phone. I picked out my color she told me he didnt have that color, she cut my finger while filing, she filed my nails WAY too short. I even had a picture of what I wanted for reference! to top it all off,,,, I was only allowed to use one of my gift cards ???????!??!!? read more

I was honestly excited to go to M Nail Bar for the first time. Upon first impression it was clean and elegant, and I thought it was cool that they except Venmo. But as soon as the male nail tech (didn't catch his name) started my dip manicure it all went down hill. He said my nails were too short and put tips on two of them even though I did not want them, the tips were also too big for my nails. He never moisturized or trimmed my nails and cuticles, he only shaped them...very unevenly. He never cleaned the dust off from nails after shaping, just went right into putting on clear coat, which left for a very uneventful manicure in the end. The few tools he did pull out we're not sterilized!! When he used the drill he ended up cutting the edges of multiple fingers, I took a picture of one cut because I had band aids on the others (3) for a few days. One of the nails with the tips is almost completely broken off, I'm wearing a band aid until I can find a quality salon to have them fix this manicure. I Mani and pedi should be an enjoyable comfort, not a painful experience that last for days. I'm spreading the word to not go here !!! read more

Really great place that takes pride in the work they do. Clean inside, kind staff, and beautiful nails!

The first and last time I went here, it took about 3 hours to have my nails done because the woman doing them kept messing up. She started over again and again. At one point I kept telling her that it was fine and I was ready to go. She insisted that I stay because she wanted to make sure I was happy with my nails. I didn't want to be rude, so I stayed. Having your nails done is supposed to be relaxing, but this whole experience was just exhausting. She spent the whole time complaining to me about her life. It was what I imagine a session with her psychologist would be like. That on top of the complete butchery(literally-she had me bleeding at one point) of my nails was enough to keep me away from that place for good. read more

Best salon ever! I've been to quite a few salons in MA and in my hometown VA and this one is by far the best. I've been going here for a few years now. I usually get a gel mani and the deluxe pedi. My nails always come out looking amazing. Everyone is extremely friendly too. Like any great places though they do get really busy especially on the weekends but just call ahead and they'll likely squeeze you in the same day. read more

Worst experience ever. It's a beautiful salon, very clean. When you walk in they have you sign in with your phone number which will ask for a review of your experience, which I thought was very different from other salons. I got my nails done by Helen or Ellen, I believe. When I got there she handed me 3 small packs of colors for dip. When I asked for more she said they didn't have anymore which I thought was strange because there were hundreds of colors on the wall. Mind you, another customer walked in asking for dip and they handed her 5 other packs of nail colors. I look around the salon and noticed I was their only black customer, but I would of never thought that would be a reason I would be treated differently. I was bruised with the drill, and the dip was too thick, my nails were just ugly. When I was coming to an end of my horrible experience, Helen/Ellen hesitated to tell me her name because she knew I was not satisfied with her work. At that moment she started talking about me to another co worker name Kathy. When it was time to pay she said my total was $40. I was taken back because their pamphlets said $35 for dip. The other girl had finish her nails before me and she was charged $35 for dip, at that point I was DONE. I asked why was I being charged an extra $5 when the other customer which is a white female was only charged $35. That's when Kathy stated, the customer did not originally get dip powder. I paid the $40 and walked out to the parking lot and asked the previous customer how much she paid and what did she get done. She told me she got dip powder and only paid $35. KATHY LIED TO ME. I walk back and told her "the other customer DID get dip powder, I just went out and asked her" she said "ohhh we charged you the extra $5 because we had to originally take off your dip on your old manicure", NOW SHE HAD ANOTHER STORY for why I was charged an extra $5. No where on the salon pamphlet did they say they charge an extra $5 for taking dip off nails. It clearly starts $35 for color dip, $40 for French dip, and I DID NOT GET FRENCH DIP ! I walked out the salon never planning on going back. I was the only black customer at the salon and went through all this when all their other customers which were all white women didn't have any problems. I'll leave it at that. read more

After coming to this salon, nowhere else will ever do it for me. Maggie the owner makes it a point that you feel personally comfortable and the vibe there is so pretty and calm. Most decorations she even made herself! Loan is my girl personally. Her pedicures are out of this world. I always leave happy :) highly recommend read more

Very modern and clean inside. The staff is friendly and attentive. Unlike other salons, there is no loud music or televisions so it is very relaxing. I got a gel manicure that lasted over 2 weeks and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend! read more

I've been 4 times total. The first two times were for powder dip manicures and they were great! The third time, I had the man (never told me his name). The manicure seemed to be taking a lot longer than usual and then it didn't dry. We quickly realized he out the polishes on out of order. He just went back over it. It resulted in a super thick and messy looking nail. They were horrible. Fast forward, my nails were sore so I decided to just have removed and the girl was having a hard time removing it. She asked where it was applied and when I told her who it was she didn't seem surprised. My nails were so brittle and thin underneath she couldn't even file them. She apologized, told me she was the manager. She advised me to not put anything on my nails because they were "melting" from all the chemicals gone wrong. She then still charged me for removal. A week later my fingers are still sore. I won't be returning. It's too bad, it had potential. read more

Tried this nail salon for the first time because the prices seemed great for a gel mani/regular pedicure. I had the male technician for both. For the pedicure, there was no massage at all for my legs other than rubbing hot stones on them for 45 seconds. Fine, but I really love a massage for the money ... I was absolutely disturbed to see what when it came time to scrub my feet, he was using a very old and very USED pumice bar. When it came to my manicure, he filed my nails down WAY too much that it became painful. They're also filed very very uneven. Then to top it off, he painted on top of two pieces of hair on my nails. I saw it, and thought "there's no way he won't remove the two pieces of hair" and instead he painted a few layers of color over them so I "couldn't" see. I was appalled. I won't be back, not worth it. read more

It is absolutely stunning on the inside. Cleanest nail salon Ive been to! It doesnt smell like nail polish and acrylic more of a nice airy flowery smell. Very inviting with a HUGE selection of colors! Will be back ! read more

I was excited at first that I found a clean and decent price nail tech. My nail tech was very nice and inviting but I got the lavender deluxe pedi and a shellac mani. Well my mani is already lifting down by my nail beds and it hasn't even been a full week. Usually gel last me at least two weeks. As far as the pedi it was okay but my big toe got cut pretty bad and I'm still swollen. Pretty bummed by this whole situation. read more

If i had only went for a manicure with Maggie i would have given this place 5 stars. It was clean, she was superb and my gel nails came out perfect. I also had a pedicure with one of the male technicians and it was horrible. He cut my foot with his aggressive scrubbing and i had to repaint my toenails when i got home because the paint was so terrible / uneven. I would go for a manicure with Maggie only. read more

This place is one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I've been 3, maybe 4 times, and every single time I have gotten a fill for my acrylics. I was happy at first, but every single time, my nails snapped the day after and I had to go somewhere else to get them fixed. Another thing I did not like was that every single time I went there, I coincidentally got the same man every time, and he ripped off several of my acrylics in an extremely discomforting and painful manner. Also not great at listening to what the customer wants. The payment system is a little but weird as well. read more

I never leave reviews to places but this is the second time giving it a chance and it's just awful. I got a full set put on $30- I walk in to pick out a color at the color wall and she's rushing me, I then say yup one minute just finding a color. I walk over with the color after she comes back a second time and say there was a color on the wall I liked but I don't see the samples hanging anymore. She says are you getting gel? I say no and she says it's gel I said I know but I was going to compare the color to regular she said "idk then" whatever that ment. Then as the nail tech is gluing my nails I notice that one is off centered, I tell her she doesn't listen (maybe the language barrier). So I say it again and the two nail techs next to her understand and ask me to show them, agree with me and she's now annoyed she had to take it off and start over. I'm getting coffin shape, she's doing great and then get to the end of everything. The nails looked good before the paint was on them. 2 nails are off centered and some are square and some are coffin. I'm just done with this place. read more
