They made the process easy; I came in and shared my sketch, one of the guys (owner?) created a sketch that matched mine, kept communication in the months leading up to the party, and prompt in delivering it to us at the designed place & time we arranged. He was incredibly friendly and even sketched out the cake on a drawing pad so there was no confusion and we knew exactly what it would look like. I delivered him fresh flowers the day before the pickup date and he created the beautiful arrangement you see in the picture. My significant other found this lovely bakery on Yelp because he knows I live by Yelp reviews and ratings!! Good choice he knows me so well. He wanted me to have a special cake for my 30th birthday and since I love labels it had to be a designer cake. This place definitely lived up to their rating and delivered. One of my besties was the one who worked with Fernando and the staff to make sure my cake was beautiful and delicious. We decided to go with a Chanel cake so we could put "N'30" instead of Chanel N'5. I wanted red velvet or vanilla and strawberries for the cake. I trusted her judgement and told her to try different flavors and she decided on a champagne cake with fresh strawberries. She knows my taste buds because the cake was delicious. I also got 20 Chanel vanilla cupcakes which were delicious, simple and beautiful. The reason why I knocked off a star is because I do get very picky with writing on cake. For the N'30 with my name I would've preferred it to be stenciled vs handwritten to match the CHANEL N'5 logo. They said it was to small to do so, but maybe just put N'30 instead? Also the cake started drooping a little because of the weight of the fondant which is understandable. Also, heads up... The champagne cake after three days starts to taste sour and strong because of the champagne flavoring, so I recommend eating it in first 2 days. This place really lives up to their name "Fantasy" cake. They not only make beautiful cakes, mini dessert, and cookies but it taste great. When I use to live in Solano County and ate eggs and dairy, this was my go to dessert place. I probably tried every dessert they had behind the glass casing. What I loved about this place was the unique design of the individual cakes. It kind of reminded me of Japantown in the city. That's the first time I encountered mini desserts. If this is your first time trying this place, I would definitely recommend the cannoli. You can't go wrong on any of the mini desserts. The prices have gone up since I last remembered. Mini desserts cost about $3.25 each. As for their cakes, the decoration is amazing. You know how it is for amazing decoration comes cost. So expect to spend about $30+ for just a small round cake if you want elaborate design. They provide minimal seating inside but this isn't a café. They offer coffee but it's more like brewed Folgers or Yuban. Nothing fancy, so don't expect to enjoy your dessert with a latte. So I got the next best thing, Tres Leches. My hubby loved it and said it was his other favorite cake. We couldn't stop eating it. It was not too sweet, had lots of flavor and whipped cream frosting, yum. My mouth is watering just writing about it. We made a trip there yesterday, and ordered the mini cakes. I ordered the pina colada cake for my daughter , my son had the fruit basket (basket made with almonds, like brittle) and I had the tres leches in the chocolate shell cup and my hubby had the bear claw. We all enjoyed our pastry selection. My son devoured his custard and cake filled basket with fruit on top. Tres leches, was just heaven in my mouth, pina colada - was delightful and my husband enjoyed his bear claw with the fresh custard. Definitely going to order future cakes here for celebrations. After checking yelp, we decided to order a cake for a baby shower from here. We were helped by Fernando, who helped us choose the size of the cake for about 60 guests and who gave great input on the design of the cake (we just knew we wanted a pirate and book theme, Fernando helped us from there!). After sampling some of the bakery's delicious cakes, we ultimately decided on the champagne cake. When we went to pickup the cake, we were absolutely thrilled at how great the cake looked! All of our guests commented on how gorgeous the cake looked and once the cake was cut, people could not stop raving about how delicious the cake was. I am from Vallejo and I have to say, the cake/cream was absolutely comparable to Home Bakery (we chose a different type of frosting than the style used by Home Bakery). The cake was not overly sweet and was SO moist, it was absolutely perfect! I live in San Francisco and I can honestly say I would drive from SF to Vacaville to get a cake from this bakery for a party. For $230 we had an absolutely gorgeous, huge, and delicious cake that our party of 60 didn't even get through half of (which resulted in a lot of happy coworkers on Monday morning!). The family that runs this bakery is not only sweet but extremely professional and talented, they even carried the cake out to the car for us. Decided to have a little last minute quarantine birthday party for my two year and go all out with a donut theme. My husband and I dropped by fantasy cakes on a whim just to see if we could get a custom cake done with just a couple days notice. I wasn't expecting them to say yes and the guy I spoke to actually explained to us that they don't do custom cakes on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. But he asked to see a picture of what I wanted and he decided to accommodate us! I wasn't expecting a custom cake with such little notice. I sent my husband to pick up the cake on a Wednesday and he texted me a picture of the cake as they were packing it up. I noticed that there weren't any sprinkles like I wanted. As obscure as it may be, the variety of individual desserts sold is a delight. I had purchased five desserts, but only bought two of them to try them myself. The Oreo mousse was moist and had the oreo flavor I expected. The cappuccino mousse's presentation was one hard to destroy and devour, but it definitely has a really strong coffee flavor so it did not dissapoint. I will definitely return to try more of the desserts (tiramisu, lemon cake, and the princess are a few that I have in mind) Definitely a place to go and try.
