Had the worst experience with food poisoning they catered for a wedding of 150 people. We all think they cooked spoiled meat. Ive never had a bad experience or a bad product. The staff is lovely and the owner is amazing.

I will start with the Positives! We ordered a 6inch strawberry champagne cake. The cake was very yummy! The buttercream itself was on the sweeter side (could use less sugar for sure) but the actual cake was moist and very good! The negatives: I called a day before to see when i could pick up, the lady I spoke with told me I could come at 9:30. I get there at 9:30 no-one was there. No one shows up until 10 I'm obviously annoyed. The lady comes to the door and asks me about my order and I told her whoever I spoke to told me to come at 9:30 and she immediately responded with "no I said don't come at 9:30 we open at 10" Who tells someone who dont come at 9:30 because we don't open until 10? I never even brought a time up on our phone call. So what a random thing to say. But also, instead of taking ownership and apologizing for the miscommunication I was hit with immediate deference. That is very telling of the customer service..... (left a bad taste for me) Secondly and this was partly my fault I should have double checked prior to leaving the shop, but the cake was not centered at all. When I arrived home and removed the cake from the box it looked like it had transportation damage i immediately thought it was my fault! But my husband started to look at the cake more closely and also tried to slide it to the center and the cake looked like it was piped off center! We were not able to slide the cake to the center with our hands because it was solid on the board (meaning it wouldn't have slid in the car). I have attached a video for reference. I ordered a cake from Famous Creations that I was recommended to from a few friends on Facebook. They had 5 days to make this cake and I paid them 5 days in advance. ($173) I gave them a photo for reference and was very clear I wanted fresh flowers on the cake. (Invoice and reference photo included in post). Yesterday I went to pick up the cake and I was VERY disappointed. The cake was already boxed up and when the girl at the counter took the top off to show me the cake all of the macaroon cookies were smashed. I was displeased and asked for her to remove the smashed cookies and provide new ones. Her response was, "thankfully we make these cookies in house". No apologies or anything. She removed 3 severely crushed cookies and provided me with 3 new ones to replace later (even though all 6 cookies were smashed). There was no fresh flowers on the cake either. Only cheap dollar store flowers. Being it was my birthday, I didn't want to let this ruin my day, I reluctantly took the cake. I was so embarrassed to present this cake at my party, that I myself redecorated it. I will NEVER use this bakery again. The fact that they stand behind this cake that was no where near $173 worth is mind blowing. If you are looking for a special occasion cake, don't go to this bakery. read more

The building was super cute and the service was amazing but the cupcakes were not good at all. They looked beautiful but the taste of buttercream was sugar not yummy and the cake was dry. I normally don't write reviews and I am not one to complain unless it's very valid but this deserves a review. I emailed this place for the first time for an inquiry on a cake and they emailed me back right away but when I confirmed back that I would like to proceed with my order I got no response for 5 days until I called to ask them if I could still place my order, they said they didn't receive my email (it did send) and that they would email me an invoice so I could get my order taken care of but again no response. I don't have time to wait on them and chase them around so obviously they don't care that much about getting business. I went in to the Vacaville store on 10/15/22 to purchase cupcakes for my mom's birthday and they were horrible. They were stale , dry, old and hard. I was so embarrassed and felt so bad about having to give them to her diner guests. Because of the complaints by my mom and one of her guests, I called the Fairfield store (nobody answered at the Vacaville store) to let them know about the poor quality of the cupcakes and the kind gentleman told me yes they were old and can be dry because I bought them at the end of the week and he apologized , took my number and told me a manager would call back. I still haven't heard from a manager yet.It would be nice if they disclosed baked goods may be stale and old , that way you would have the option to pay almost $5.00 for a old product. Love that Famous Creations opened in downtown Vacaville. I've been to their Fairfield locations many times for their yummy desserts so now that it's closer to home it brings me so much joy. It's super cute and the little space gives an open feel. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee and pastries. I love their cupcakes especially the salted caramel and tequila infused ones- those are my go to. They also have ube cheesecake but all their cheesecakes no matter what flavor is made with love. You can place made to order for special occasions. They also offer catering services for any occasion like weddings, birthdays, etc. I've had their food and it is amazingly delicious. A few dishes that are my favorite: roast beef, tri tip, chicken, rice pilaf, and all the things! Their set up is beautiful and the servers are nice and helpful. I was offered a cake the next day. and some free cup cakes. I declined.
