Jairo and Mario from JGS Carpet Installation took on 2 difficult spots I needed repaired in my home…read moreto prevent trips and falls. They were: a doorway that had pet damage and had been pulled up, and my upstairs catwalk hallway that needed some carpet bulges stretched out. Jairo was easy to get in touch with and arrived early for the repairs. He showed a lot of care in his work and he made sure I was satisfied with the repair before packing up for the day. Both carpet repaired areas look brand new now and match my other carpet areas again. I had put off getting this fix for years because I was worried about price but these fixes definitely had higher than expected value. I no longer have to step over carpet bulges and my door shuts better. I would definitely use JGS Carpet Installation's services again for repairs and if I need new carpet installed I'm calling them for the install.

I reported this to Enrique who then found another price that's only 50% above market price citing "challenging conditions" (for a straight sand and finish of my newly installed white oak raw wood floors). I had no idea a sand and finish with no conditions of any other repair could be so challenging.... If you want to pay double the market price by all means go with Enrique and his price gouging goons at Buffaloe flooring... I'll be steering far away from these guys who base price on your neighborhood zip code and the cars you drive.... Sad model and horrible experience..

I like/need a high level of communication and got that in spades. Jim and Adam arrived in the promised window and after a walk through to explain the process and ask questions about my problem area they got to work. The smell of that pretreatment as it is mixed and applied is quite potent - but it is a good smell for sure. I mention that because we have an olfactory sensitive staff member who I had wisely told to stay away until we were done. While Fantastic was not the least expensive project quite I received they were very competitive and worked hard to understand my needs and earn my business. They are packing to leave and I could not be more pleased with the clean and freshness of our cheap glue down office carpet. Just because it looks clean doesn't mean it is and I wanted to see the dirty extraction water like always because I find it satisfying to see all that ick going down the drain. They were very careful with our belongings and respectful of our space at all points in the process. The big soup stain and the big Sprite mess at our front door are completely gone and the areas under our chairs that had all those little spots are nice and clean. Would highly highly recommend and will for sure use them again. Adam is apprenticing to James to continue the business and that is always gratifying to me on a personal level to support generational businesses that have survived and thrived.
