Today was my first visit, and the customer service was horrible. The person taking my order started talking to me before my car was in front of the speaker and then gave me a horrible attitude because she couldn't hear me. She said "you know what mam, you need to wait till you get closer to the speaker before you order." Which were my thoughts exactly... But she started the transaction... So I just went with it... after all, she's the professional. Wow... did that bite me in the butt or what??? When I got a smidge closer to the speaker I gave her my order. She asked me a question, which I couldn't understand. After two attempts, I said "I'm sorry mam, I can't hear what you're saying"... and her attitude progressed. When I got to window, she mad dogged me. Lol. Seriously. She mad dogged me. I've never been mad dogged at drive through before. It was pretty intimidating, I'm not gonna lie. The food was good, but as someone who preaches costumer service to my own staff, I won't return. Was lured in by their 2-for-the-price-of-1 burger daily special after 2 p.m. daily....which on the surface seemed like a good deal to me. Unfortunately, there is fine print that is not cool at all: Unlike ALL other buy one get one free fast food promos at other restaurants, this place will NOT allow you to buy any burger on the menu and get a same one free. WHAT? Yup...you must buy the cheapie $3.99 burger and then all your extras cost you an arm and a leg. Let's do the math for a simple chili cheeseburger: $3.99 for the burger, $1.00 for cheese on both and a mind boggling $3.50 for chili on 2.....a grand total of $4.50 in up charges.....and $8.49 plus tax for 2 burgers. Where is the value in that, when you can get the SAME thing at Tommy's or nearby Carl's Jr. at regular prices for LESS.....and you get similar or better quality? Who is the genius who decided to charge $1.75 for 2 tablespoons of chili on your burger? That is just GREED.....50 cents is fine for chili, and 35 cents is the norm for adding cheese. By the way, I have no idea what type of cheese I got on mine, as the register operator never bothered to ask and they offer 6 different ones. Prices for almost everything on the menu are really HIGH....How about a double cheeseburger, fries and a Coke for a "Lunch Deal" for ONLY $9.99...? Some people have said they have good breakfasts, but I like nearby Denny's or IHOP for beginning my day at a similar cost. There is a reason why this place only has a lowly 3-star YELP rating and why there was only 1 other person in this place at 2:30 in the afternoon. Burger was so-so...similar to the Carl's Jr. Star. Service was slow, as the drive-thru people seemed to take most of the attention of the cook who seemed unable to multi-task....doing only 1 order at a time instead of having 6 to 8 burgers going all at once..... Bring back Wendy's which used to be at this great corner location.....OR, check out Norco's Best Burgers just a couple miles north or Burger Boss across the freeway in Stater Brothers shopping center where you get superior quality beef and can totally customize your burger from the bun to the cheese to the sauces...and even an egg on top if that is your desire. read more

Didnt know what to get, so I got a cheeseburger meal because how can you mess that up? First bite i knew i was biting into a very over cooked unseasoned burger. Probably because the patty is super thin, no thicker than a chips ahoy cookie. The burger is fluffed up with a ton of lettuce. Fries do not taste fresh. This used to be a great place to grab food. But the last 4 times I have been my order has either been wrong or missing things. One occasion was ordering breakfast with sausage and got bacon. Another occasion ordered steak sandwich with no lettuce, grilled onions and mushrooms. Received raw onions, lettuce and no mushrooms. Another time ordered steak sandwich combo didn't get drink. Then this morning ordered breakfast combination and didn't get toast. Also if I go on Wednesday and Thursday the staff is just not as friendly or proficient. They are decent but staff on other days is just better. All these occasions were in the drive thru. And for those who are about to say check your order before leaving that's all well and good but it should be handled before I get my food. I don't know what is going on but I really don't want to come back after several poor experiences all within 2 weeks. The food that I do get is good..but when orders are messed up it makes the entire experience unpleasant. I think I will take a break from them for a while maybe give them another chance later. Average breakfast burrito less than average service. Asked for extra salsa and was told "we only give 2 per burrito. We charge for extra." An $8 breakfast burrito and they can't give me an additional salsa. Drive up the street to burger basket and get a great breakfast burrito for the same price and get all the salsa you need. I love this place. My favorite is the Texas Burger (substitute the turkey burger) with fresh lettuce, tomato, bacon and bbq sauce and two onion rings! DAMN GOOD! It's made fresh while you wait so you never get a soggy burger in a bin. The zucchini is good as well! read more

Good size portions and not at a bad price. I had a chorizo burrito and it was cooked just right. And recently tried the huevos rancheros, that was spot on from the green sauce to the tortillas to the meat. I love that they have chilies on the side cause I like my spice! I like this place, but their food takes a while. Guess you can chalk that up to quality food prep. Drive-thru is also a bit snappy and never offers up condiments. The window closes immediately after you are given food and it's difficult flagging people down for syrup, butter, ketchup, or salsa. Let alone enough for all of the orders. read more

I decided to try out their breakfast while on the way home from dropping off one of my relatives to work. Got one of the breakfast burritos and it was one of the worse I've ever had. Not only did it taste bad, I developed food poisoning as a result and had diarrhea the rest of the day right after I ate the burrito. So this is an update from my previous review. Since my last review and yes, I decided to give them another chance seeing my hubby and I really enjoy the food. They must have talked to the staff. They're all so nice and truly go above and beyond to provide great customer service. This place definitely gets two stars because of the food, which was actually half decent. The reason I can't give it another star is because the customer service. I have been in the customer service industry for over 13 years and it is hard to deal with others behind the counter when they have attitude. I wanted to order a side salad (smaller than a garden salad) and when I ordered I had asked for a "side salad". Also, I ordered a bean, rice, and cheese burrito. And a side of guacamole with chips. When the salad came out, it was very large plate, with pita bread, which I also did not want. I asked the expo guy who was delivery the food to tables and he said he had a smaller salad. When I walked back up to the counter to give back the unwanted garden salad the rudeness of the lady behind the counter made me very uncomfortable. Instead of suggesting to refund it, she immediately said she would box it for me. I didn't want it to begin with so I asked for a refund, and then her attitude got worst. The only reason I would go back if I really needed to was because of the guacamole. The best guacamole in town, very citrus, extra cilantro, and good chucks of avocado. However, it doesn't come with chips you have to order them on the side but rather they charge you for fries and substitute chips. I would say thank you with nothing back. I would never return here just for the soul fact of how terribly the people who work here are with customer service. I have never dined in the restaurant, but i am a frequent drive through customer. Their burgers are always delicious, the fries are fat, crispy outside and fluffy inside and always piping hot. I especially love the chilly cheese fries. The steak sandwich is another one of my favorites. Prices are typical for a diner, but i do have to say they always take a very long time to make my food, but that's ok, if i wanted a burger made and served in 2 minutes, i would have gone to McDonalds. This restaurant definitely lives up to it's name. I've been here 3 time now. Twice for breakfast and once on a Monday and they were all great experiences! One Monday nights they've got $1pints! We're not talking shitty brews either!! We're talking craft brews!! They've got a killer hef and Stone IPA which is an absolute bargain at $1 a pint! Breakfast is the sh*t too! They've got great specials (I've tried the #1 and #5 Breakfast Specials) and they dole out generous portions! This place has gone WAY downhill. Yesterday we ordered taquitos. Inside the container of 3 taquitos was about a tablespoon of guacamole on top of a huge pile of lettuce and a little bit of salsa. There wasn't even enough guac for 1 bite, let alone all 3 taquitos. News flash: nobody wants lettuce on their taquitos we want guacamole! Stop being cheap! Next day we went in and ordered blueberry pancakes. Almost 10 min after ordering and sitting down, the girl tells us they ran out of blueberries. Huh? It's 9:30 in the morning and you "ran out"? No you didnt run out. You just didnt have any, and a good manager would have made sure the employees know to 86 the blueberries so customers wouldn't order it. All the food is great here, from Fantastic Fries to the Steak & Shrimp -- and at very reasonable prices. The waitresses are very friendly, they'll even bring beers to your table even though you normally order at the register. This is the best place you've never heard of. It's usually empty when it's not Monday night, but the food is good enough to come on any day, and even then the beers are still a good deal at $4. read more
